Is eLearning accessible through the Academic version of Creo 3.0? Every time I try to click a lesson, it asks for a log in. I would have assumed that our educator log in would be good, but it doesn't seem to work.

Many features under application is missing (for ex. pipe, profile ) Since I have more assignements from my trainer to do using this special features , can some one help me by providing lthe ink to download this special features.?Thanks in advance Nithesh K
The URL of my cloud-based instance is:http://thingworx-academic-vu.ptcmscloud.com/Thingworx/Composer/index.htmlIf this is a multi-tenant site I can see why I would not be given an admin user name and password. If this is a containerized instance for my use alone, perhaps I could be given admin rights.I think my lack of success for using the monitoring UI from the Composer that I have posted about before could be because my access rights are restricted.I tried a bunch of other things to monitor and they show nothing of interest either. I will upload a screenshot for what I see when I try to Monitor the system.
Sir, In Creo 3.0 academic, after entering key BK400407EDSTUDENTUNICL and restaring the computer the warning appear is License does not support this product.
Hi,I can't download the PTC Creo 2.0 Student version. If I click on the download manager, than it doesn't open the manager, but start downloading from https. The main problem is, when it's done and try to extract the file, it shows hundreds of CRC Errors. Please help me as soon as possible.
I successfully downloaded CREO 3.0 and used the student license , at the same time we downloaded Mathcad, When we started mathcad it asked for a license which we didn't have, It looks likes Mathcad booted up to Mathcad express. Do we need to request a Mathcad license ? or is there a standard set of student instructions like there was for CREO 3.0 ?
Whenever I go to render a part (change the color), and I click on appearance gallery, no colors appear. I then click on "more appearances", and the whole program freezes, gives me an error. and then closes out (see picture).Any ideas what is wrong?I attached the traceback log, since I cannot email support. Thanks for any help.Ryan
I am using student version of creo. and Afer making some assemblies, and in the meacnism mode, I cant add the servo motor to a joint, or an axis, as no axis marks are shown. Please give me a hint on this.Great thanks.
Is there a way to edit an offset that you create in a sketch?
Working on a project, I incorrectly named my parts, so i went back and renamed them all correctly (Manage File --> Rename --> part name). The Assembly worked and opened up, but the drawing came up with errors for every part used " ____ not found in this directory". Is there anything i can do to recover my drawing in this version of Creo?
Hi,Is it reasonable to use PTC CREO on a MacBook Pro with a parallels desktop system running? And are there any limitations whatsoever in the student version? Thank you for your help.
Just wondering if the 2014-2015 FRC Grant recipients have be announced? Our submission still reports "In-Progress"Thanks,Mike U.
Edit: The URL for the License Utility worked! ..temporarily. I got the utility downloaded, which solved my issue. But now when I got back, it gives me a 404 again. It seems that when I manually type it in, it works, but when I click a link or copy / paste it, it gives me a 404?? Really weird. I attached a screenshot of it in 404 mode.I also got what a google search reveals is a common issue, of the "Quality Agent" not being able to do whatever it needs to do. Right clicking creo and running as administrator solved the issue, as it allowed creo to do whatever it needs to do with the Quality Agent when I clicked "yes" to tell it to go ahead and do... whatever.Hello, I was trying to get Creo 1.0 working on my computer, following the instructions here: http://support.ptc.com/appserver/wcms/standards/freefull_cs.jsp?&im_dbkey=151798&icg_dbkey=896That page directs me to install the "Creo 1.0 License Utility" located at http://free-dl.ptc.com/install/Setup.exe That website gives me a
Yesterday I had Mathcad Prime 3.0 installed and running. Today I had to restore Windows 7, so I tried to install Prime again after downloading pim_installmgr_mathcad.exe again, but it won't re-install -only the quality agent. PTC Mathcad and Mathcad PDSi viewable won't re-install.
Hi, I have purchased an academic copy of Creo 2 online and downloaded the installer and ran it as an administrator. the installer starts taking me through the steps to completion and recognizes my supplied licence for the product, however when it comes to the “Applications” section it crashes and the error message “PTC installation assistant has stopped working” is produced. Please find attached a screenshot of this message. I have browsed the forum and this seems to be a fairly common issue but no simple answer seems to have been given on there. At first I assumed that it must be my schools edition of Creo/Elements Pro needing uninstalling in order to complete the process, so I uninstalled that but it made no difference. I have tried downloading another copy of the installer but this also does not work. is there something that I am missing or is there a bug in the installer that I have? Kind Regards, Mike
Hi i have been trying to get Creo 2.0 to work on my laptop as i need it to do my university work. i have registered for it downloaded the programmes and i do not have a licence number/ file. i really need help resolving this as i need to do my work and i am unable to untill this is resoved. thank you.
I am trying to 3D print a sphere with details etched into it and I am looking for the best approach and processes to use. My goal is to make a Christmas ornament with designs cut out.
I used to use Pro/E 2000i daily 10+ years ago. I haven't touched any CAD program in over 10 years but trying to teach students CAD basics and coupling that with a 3D printer. I just installed Creo 3.0 and I'm struggling with creating sketches. In creating sketches in Pro/E 2000i, I used to "use edge" a lot with the trimming functions or align a line with a face or plane that already existed in 3d. Do these still exist in the sketch functionality or do I have to let Creo dimension and then delete and re-dimension based on how I want to adjust my model? Thanks for teaching this old dog new tricks!
I'm the main CAD designer for my FTC team, Fireworks. I recently switched to PTC from Autodesk and followed the download instructions exactly step by step. However, when I tried to open a saved assembly, it wasn't working and all the parts showed up in red. I also tried making a simulation but a window popped up saying I don't have a "PTC Simulate license" or something similar. Does anyone else have this problem, and how can I solve it?
I have installed Creo 3 - this time I have got it to open up the latest version but I am receiving the licence request failure message.I used the educational standalone and removed all previous licences on installation.I would appreciate any advice to get this running.NeilShortly after posting this message I was sent the licence .dat file which I dragged and dropped into the licensing box and removed all other entries. The same fault is happening. Is this a license for Creo 3 because in the email it refers to Creo 2.I am not having much luck here.
I'm a FRC mentor who recently got a new computer, and want to install Creo on it. I tried using the product code from the first time that I got it (as told to do over in the FIRST forums - they told me via PM that the product code is the same for all students), and when I put the product code in to to the installer, it asks me to login to ptc.com, and then simply tells me "Error!". If I hover over it, it says to please contact PTC license support. What do I need to do to get Creo on this machine? FWIW, I downloaded it again from https://www.ptc.com/appserver/auth/it/esd/academic.jsp and still no dice.
Hi I'm a student that's trying to install the Student Edition of Creo 3.0, but when I get to the part in installation process where I'm supposed to type in the product license, it won't let me type it in. Any ideas? I've already tried turning my anti-virus off.
Hello! On behalf of the PTC Academic Team, I’d like to apologize for the confusion over the past few months. We are in the process of re-organizing our Global Academic Program in hopes that all of our programs around the world can be synchronized, enabling even greater collaboration. The best way to find out more information about our Academic Program is through our newly designed website: www.ptc.com/go/academicprogram. Below, I’ve outlined some of the main changes to our program:Software:PTC still offers free software to schools and students. Now the process to receive free software has gotten even easier. All a student or school needs to do is fill out the registration form below:http://www.ptc.com/communities/academic-program/products/free-softwareAfter registering, they will be directed to another page with detailed instructions on installing and configuring Creo.
