HI We have found that we can not run Creo 8 parametric anymore unless we run it with admin rights or if we unblock command prompt neither of which are an option within a school environment. The application just doesn't load after clicking the shortcut/icon.  Has anyone else had this issue and found a resolution. Thanks

Information regarding the system:Macbook air M1 running windows 11 in parallels.Creo 8 education license The problem:Creo does not open, after installation. It just does not do anything and also does not pop up in the Task Manager. Whilst installing the installation manager complained, that he could not install Visual c++ redistributables. I finished the installation never the less, because under programs, in the system preferences, all the redistributables for visual c++ are listed.I tried all the other helping tips and tricks that helped others with similar problems. Does anyone have an idea, what the problem could be?

Hi,after I installed Creo 8 and startet it I got the message, that the Creo System Monitor, Exit Logger and Creo Embedded Browser. I already tried to repair it with the PTC Creo Platform Services as it says in this article (https://www.ptc.com/en/support/article/CS331638) but the error still occured.What else can I do?

I was trying to install Creo Parametric Toolkitt following Getting Started Guide, but I get stucked. When I reach step 2.8( Running the Makefile Project), I can´t proceed to the next steps. I built make_install and modified protk_install_example/make_install/creotk.dat, but I can´t use auxiliary applications at Creo Parametric. You could check the steps I followed (until 3), and how is Auxiliary Applications locked.

I have been trying to get Creo 7.0.8.0 education edition to install and function on my laptop. I previously had Creo 4.0 installed and it worked fine. I uninstalled 4.0 and then went through the creo 7 download guide. When I install creo it works perfectly fine for about 16-24 hours, then I get the error shown below. To fix this I have been able to reconfigure the existing software using the setup from the initial download. This allows me to use creo for another couple hours until it crashes again. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling multiple times, using different license codes, and it still does not work. Any help is appreciated. Attached is the license file that was generated.

Hi,I've been going through the MPMLink PTC enterprise university and when it comes to built-in exercises they're supposed to be done on a dedicated - generic Windchill login credentials. (I guess I'm not allowed to share them here?)However when I try to use them either on live corporate Windchill or QA test session they do not work. Is there something I'm missing, is there an extra installation option or some external server?  Long story short - How can I access the Windchill exercise account with training files on it so I can do the stuff shown on training videos on my own? Best regards EDIT:Nevermind...the next page after an exercise presentation is an interactive html page where you go through the sequence....The first exercise has none for some reason hence I got confused 😞

I followed the instructions on the given PDF for downloading and installing the latest version of Creo and when I try to input the product code given in the PDF it just errors out and says it's an "Invalid Product Code".  

Student edition Creo Parametric 8.0.  Pro/Program will save the Input section but not the relations.  It also is not regenerating the model.

Can anyone help me figure out what am I doing wrong? I've tried installing in multiple different computers, different versions of the SW and I cannot get past the invalid license file or format error.

Hello, I am having a problem with the Creo 8.0. It gives me a fatal error when I try to open an assembly I made prior. I have followed the steps by the following link on download config.pro as well as change the content in it. However, the system still gives me the fatal error. How to Fix "Fatal Error Encountered. I am getting a -10 error feature/license expired. I'm following their renewal process and it's just not working.  Cannot really find a legitimate way to contact them for help the site is not helpful and very circular.  Simply trying to renew my student license.  When the software loads there is a PTC License Renewal prompt, then when I enter my info (100% it's correct info), it just tells me 'Customer not verified'   Thanks,  -Steve
