Hello, I'm trying to install the creo 6.0.2.0 but always getting the problem in install licensing. It showing invalid file or format instead of available. Tell me what i have to do now  I attached a picture of that where I'm getting problem plz help me to solve this issue.

After I input the licence key it shows "success" and also says "invalid file or format". I have attached ip.txt.

Hello,    I tried to install Creo 5 Student edition and I get a invalid file or format error.    Attached is the output of ipconfig because I saw that some people have the same problem.   Thanks for your feedback, Leon

HI! There is an error when i try to install any version of CREO for students, the problem says "invalid file or format licence". I understand that it maybe be the license server. How can i solve this problem? Thanks, greetings from Argentina!

Hi!So I'm trying to install Creo 8.0 as a student,, The given product code was accepted and I got the "success!" result. However, I can't finish the installation since the "license server" is not available! Also the file sent by Email was not accepted. What should I do here?? Thanks in advance!  

Hello, I can't renew my student license for creo 6.0. I am getting two errors - first    Now I tried following a different support thread and deleted my license.dat files and tried running setup.exe in license mode and now I am seeing this error -  Any suggestions for how to get my licensing straightened out?

Hey,    I looked at the troubleshoot for this error but I do not have the email to save the license file with the ".txt" extension. Hello,I was using PTC Creo 6.x last for the last year and a half at uni but today when I tried to do some work, the licence had expired. I tried to renew it but the process failed. So I uninstalled Creo 6.x and deleted the C:\ProgramData\PTC\Licensing directory. I then downloaded the PTC Creo 8.0 zip file and went about installing the new version. I am following the instructions in the Quick Installation Guide.When I get to the point where I enter the supplied product code under Node Locked Licence Generation and select Install Licensing, the installation program gets stuck at Processing... indefinitely.I have tried backing out of the installation process, rebooting my PC and trying again but get the same result.   Is anyone able to assist?   Regards, Keir

Hi All, Have just installed Creo 8.0, but when I load up the render window, it comes up as a small square in the centre of the screen. Creo 7.0 works fine and no issues. 

Hi everyone,  I've recently downloaded the Educational edition of Creo 7.0 in order to attend mechanical design classes in my collage. During the installation I had the Ansys Simulation product available so I checked the box and installed it as the rest of the apps and extensions.  The thing is that today I wanted to use the Ansys extension and an error message appeared telling me that the license can't be obtained and that I should contact with a commercial agent.  Has anyone experienced the same issue? Is this because the Ansys Simulation extension is not available for the Educational license?  All aswers will be welcomed. Thank you in advance.  Arnau

Anyone having trouble motivating their team to use Windchill?I'm putting documents up and asking mentors and students to look at them so we will already have familiarity with the system once build season starts. However, very few people are actually doing it. If we wait until build to learn this, it will be too late. Any advice?

I have Creo Parametric 7.0.2 Educational version on Win10 with Visual Studio 2019 (16.10.3). I wanted to try VB API and have set-up everything as per vbug - I have registered the COM and the PRO_COMM_MSG_EXE is set as system-level variable to a working path.    When loading VB examples from the installation folder I found that I had to remove pfcls from references and add a fresh reference as per vbug to "Creo Parametric Type Library for Creo Parametric". This new reference was bound as pfc (Interop.pfc in object browser). I changed few imports in the vb examples to replace pfcls with the new reference pfc.   Everything looked well apart from - IpfcAsyncConnection, CCpfcAsyncConnection or anything with word Async is just not included in the COM above. I tried searching for connection method in case AsyncConnection got deprecated but no luck.   Where have IpfcAsyncConnection and related objects gone? Why is it not in the COM?? Do I need a different com or i

While working in the annotations tab, none of my annotations are displayed in the model space. I've added driving dimensions via the "show annotations" feature, but after I add and deselect them, they disappear. They are displayed on the left hand side under detail tree, and show up when I select them there, but I cannot select them in the model space. Also, I was able to attach a datum feature symbol to the dimensions, but they again disappear after I complete this task. I've watched how-to videos on these procedures and the dimensions remain after adding them. The instructor is able to select and drag the dimensions to orient them as they please. This is preventing me from adding feature control frames to the dimensions in the model itself. I've attached a screenshot showing what I'm experiencing. 

I am now moving on to trying to understand post-processing, and it appears the included documentation is very poor. There is very little explanation of what is being chosen in the machine tool setup dialog when typing a "PP Name" and selecting a number. I can find the stereoscopic configuration in the option menu, however, not in the bar menu, and unable to enable it! The Solution  described here wont work: Stereoscopic 3D output - PTC Community I have a quadro card stereo setup and other stereo applications works eg. catia v5.

Need license for Creo trial version urgently

Hello,   my name is Elias from Germany.  I installed Creo 7 correctly and I’m happy with it. The next days, I would like to do my master’s degree with Creo 7 Generative-Design. Unfortunately, it's not in the student license included. Is there any option to use the latest version of Simulate and Generative-Design for free or as a low budget student license or something like that? Did I do something wrong with installation? I've downloaded Creo 7.0 but I just have a license key for 5.0 but it seems that there is a free license for students for the 7.0 version as well how do I get it? I can't find it anywhere or I have to download the whole package again.
