In order to streamline the process and maybe make it easier on myself, I decided to download Citrix. I quickly picked up on how to access Creo Parametric, but now I have encountered a whole new problem. I exited Parametric after getting an error I can't remember off the top of my head (I will make an update later if it somehow fixes) and now I am getting another error saying "you have exceeded the limit for maximum active sessions. Please try again later." What does this mean and how do I fix it because I do not want to wait hours or days for this program to allow me back in, I have homework I need to get finished by Monday. Please message me about this as soon as you can.

I want to use the Quick Tables utility to make an assembly drwing, but when I click on the Quick Tables tab, I got an error message and Creo crashes immediately. The message says that the file "bom_description_bom.tbl" was created with a commercial version of Creo, and I am using an educational version.   I am using Creo Parametrics Student Edition 3.0 M190.   I could do the same thing with an older version of Creo Student 3.0, but I can't remember wich build it was.   Does anyone know how to solve this problem? I can't use a newer version of Creo.

I am very new to using Creo parametric so it could be something concerned with my computer or something else entirely. So, I am in a mechanical engineering class and one of my first practices is to create basic shapes, but when I start to make an angled shape with a fillet and try to edit the units, the program closes. I was able to make squares, rectangles with fillets, hoops, and other shapes, even make a basic angled shape with a fillet by using the rectangle tool. However, when I try to make an angled shape with a fillet using the line tool according to my practice sheet then try to edit the units, the program shuts down. How do I fix this? I need to take care of it as soon as possible before I come across a more devastating bug or glitch later in my course.

Hello, is it possible to use STEP files as they are in assemblies? I know I can import them, but it seems they are converted into prt files, which is not what I want. (Background: We are using multiple CAD systems and I would like to have the standard parts in a neutral format so they can be reused for all CAD systems from our PLM and we don't need to check in the same standard parts multiple times).

I have been trying to connect to my team's windchill server and when i go to register the server and put the location link in the window, it sends an error code "Invalid server location. Please change the "Location" field and try again." I was connected to the server using this same link previously and one day it randomly disconnected and started giving me this code when i try to register it again. I uninstalled creo and installed it again to try and get it to work but no luck there.   Any help would be great!   Thank you,   Tanner

Whenever I try to get Creo student by submitting the form that asks for name, email, etc., I get a 404 error. I've tried in Brave and Edge, same results. I've been able to get it to work on other machines in the past, any ideas on how to fix this?

I have a question how come there is not an email that we can contact when we have questions instead of having to rely on this forum and hope someone replies to our question. This seems like a really inefficient way especially for people that are on a timeline.  

I followed the directions for install and license, however when I try to launch any of the Creo Application they return a license error, even though the license is located correctly. I would note that Creo Direct on launch just terminates without message where the other 4 applications return a license error, when I select OK the application(s) close

I have been trying to send data to ThingWorx. To start I had created a Thing and a property to send a value to. I have a web application called www.markcheli.com/dummyPhonedata and am trying to send values from the Javascript in there to Thingworx.I tried the following command:$.ajax({ url: 'http://acadev1.cloud.thingworx.com/Thingworx/Things/Am2302Thing/Properties/Prop_Temperature/', type: 'PUT', data: 'value=1'})Using AJAX I am just trying to send Dummy data to the property "Prop_Temperature". On my phone this websiteasks for permission to Thingworx using a login- after logging in the data does not send so the endpoint is never reached.If I post to http://acadev1.cloud.thingworx.com/Thingworx/Things/Am2302Thing/Properties/Prop_Temperature ?method=put&value=4 it will send the value of4 to the Thing property of Prop_Temperature.Additionally, If I do not use the safari web browser on my phone it does not request permission to ThingWorx,thus it cannot even try to put this data on

I downloaded the PTC Creo version 6.0.2.0 and after the installation I try to open PTC creo parametric but it just doesn't launch.

Hi, I just downloaded Creo 2.0 from ptc as a student edition download, including the simluate. But, when I run this program, and try to open a part/model, it throws this license error: "unable to get required creo simulate license. Please contact customer support". Do I need separate license for simulate, because the parametric seems to be working fine.Thanks,A. Gill

The creo stimulate, the creo layout, &  the creo direct are not working... if replied yes or no its shuting down the program...  

I try to use the simulate lite feature in creo parametric because the student license does not include the full simulate program, but nothing happens. When I click simulate, the message log at the bottom reads "Leaving Creo Simulate for the model...." and that's it. I'm trying to do a force analysis, is there another way to do this?

I tried downloading creo 4.0 student version, I've tried it a few times with different accounts since an account maxed the student standard licensing (BK410705EDSTUDENTUNICL). Encountered both these errors, also encountered licensing failure before this. Please help I don't know what to do anymore. Thank you

Hi everyone,I'm a french student working with creo parametric 3.0 I just downloaded the software, it works nicely for all the types of works except manufacturing. When i click on new >>>>> manufacturing >>>>>> assembly CN ,the window does not open, and nothing is hapening, i mean i stay on the home page.I tried it with new>>>>>>> manufacturing>>>>>>>>>>expert machinist and it works perfectly but i don't know how to use it.Even, i downloaded creo 2.0 and i had the same problem ( assembly cn didn't work).anyone can help please ?? Using WF5 Student Edition M040I've noticed that there are functions for Manikin included in the WF5 student edition.Also, the "Key Features" tab on the page at http://store.ptc.com/DRHM/store?Action=DisplayProductDetailsPage&SiteID=ptc&Locale=en_US&Env=BASE&productID=201248400indicates that WF5 student edition includes:New! Manikin and Manikin AnalysisHowever, I cannot find the Manikin libraries anywhere in the install folders. Can someone direct me to where I can find the Manikin assemblies in WF5?Thanks

How do I get ThingWorxAcademicSimulatorSetup.exe I am not able to find it anywhere  

I downloaded CREO 6.0 for summer classes today and cannot get past the error in the picture. I followed everything on the quick installation guide (https://apps.ptc.com/schools/references/install_creo6_unistudent_standard.pdf). I need this to be fixed ASAP due to class being every day. I use the Version: Creo Student 5.0.4.0. My problem is I don't find any trail.txt. file on my PC. The only file with the same ending is PRO_trl.txt. I reinstalled Creo and the problem still the same. The PRO_trl.txt file is in the same direction saved as trail_dir show it to me. I never get any trail.txt. file. Save the student version no trail.txt. file?

I had previously Creo installed but I deleted it and now I want to install it again but there is the message "Voraussetzung ausstehend" which should mean requirement pending. How can I fix this?

Dear Team,   I am using a Student version provided by the University of Stuttgart. I am learning a course PTC CREO in online platform of Udemy. In my course, certain additional worksheet drawing, parts, assemblies have been provided for us to learn and draw and get used to it. Obviously, they would have been done in Commercial Version. I am not able to open the files and I get the message  "Cannot retrieve model"   For any file, this is the response. It would be great if there is a way to access the files.
