Hi, I installed creo 4.0. M080 Student license, some time ago (autumn 2019) and it worked perfectly. To day I wanted to work and creo gets suddenly extremely slow. The graphics is okay but  menus to open other parts or filling dimensions is incredibly slow rendering the program almost unusable, what´s worse it seems to be "infecting" my windows and suddenly my entire PC is slow as hell and I have to restart. Other programs run fine. I tried new graphics driver (two actually) neither made any difference. My specs: Win 10  Asus Laptop UX310UQ i5-6200U GTX 940M 8gb ram I have creo on standart HDD (due to lack of space on SSD) but it seems to be running ok   Thank you

When attempting to use the product code BK600908EDSTUDENTEDUNI in the Simple License Entry in the PTC Installation Assistant, I am presented with a single "Error!" message and no details. I have previously used this license and was running Creo Parametric 6.0 with no issues for months on my University's network. Just recently, I moved to a different network and am connecting to my university network via a VPN and the license stopped working. I receive the Status "Invalid file or format" for my existing license that worked on the previous network.   How can I fix this license or download a new one for use on my home network?

Hello, I honestly don't know why this isn't working. In light of the current global event, my university, the University of South Carolina, has moved to all online classes. I'm a mechanical engineering major and one of my current courses is Introduction for Engineering Design. So I needed to get Creo for my Windows 10 desktop. I decided on Creo 3.0 since we have a group project coming up and the people in my group use this version. I followed the steps provided in the PDF to the letter with no complication; however, once the set up was done I opened Creo Parametric 3.0 and received different messages, attached below, the one that accrues the most saying, "License request failed for feature." The license I used was the one from the PDF, "BK400407EDSTUDENTUNICL," which was acceptedHow could I go about fixing this?    ~Porter   *Images would not attach through upload, I don't know why* Clicked Yes            

Hi,    I was given the option to install Creo 6.0... After downloading the file and extracting it - i then ran the "Setup-school.exe" file. After installing was finished i started the program and got the following pop up message. Any help?

Hello, I seem to have the issue where Creo 6 does not recognise the licence. I've read a few posts here about it, however looking at the license "sw_license_email_4531216.dat" I received, it doesn't mention version 6 at all, just 4 and 5. Does this mean my university only bought the licence for the older version? I installed v4 and that opened up fine, but it wouldn't open the files I saved at uni, so they must not be compatible.  I'm not sure what version is installed at uni yet as I've only had one lab so far, but will check next time I'm in.   Thanks

Hello  Is they anyway I can get remote assistance from a CREO Tech support personal? how do I contact them I have been looking for their number for hrs now. On PTC web page they say they provide 24/7 global tech support but there's no number or its not visible to someone stressing

Is it possible to install VBA functionality (vb_api_register.bat or whatever is what is necessary) on the student version of Creo 6.0? Don't remember having the option to select it during the original set up but when I tried to "modify" the original installation to add VBA, the program went thru the motions and displayed an "all things successful" message box. Thanks in advance.              

I just installed the student version of creo simulate 6.0 - and there is no "new" button under file?

Hello,   I am using Creo 6.0 with my laptop connected to a dockingstation and it´s working fine. Ethernet and wireless. Both is working. If I disconnet the laptop from the dockingstation i get the attached error when I start Creo.   regards, Marc

Hello For my study I've need of Creo especially the 3.0 version because it's the one we use at school, but when I wan't to download the DVD image I can't. The problem is when I click on the link, my browser show me an 404 error. So I don't know how I can do and I ask for some help. ( maybe my english is not perfect please excuse me )  

Hello PTC community,   I recently created my PTC student account with my university email address, but when I created my account, something went wrong and my account has not been created as a Formula SAE student account. Because of this, the team captain cannot add me to the team's Windchill server because it does not recognize my account as a Formula SAE account. Is there a way to set my account up as a Formula student account without having to create an entirely new account? I cannot create a new account because my university email address is already associated with this one and I must use that email to be included in the server, and I have already activated my Creo Schematics and Mathcad Prime licenses using this account.   Thanks!

Having a bit of a brain fart. If Using Bs888 as my template for an engineering drawing in Creo 6 is first of 3rd angle projection displayed. as it looks like 3rd angle but the 1st angle symbol appears at the bottom of the page. Also is there a way to get a more detailed title block as standard. As it seems to have been reduced for previous versions. 

When I wanted to create a new part in Creo 3.0 student edition, there was an error message which says:“The file C:\Program Files\PTC\Creo 3.0\M110\Common Files\templates\direct_part_solid_inlbs_rel.prt was created with a commercial version of Creo Parametric and is not compatible with the version of Creo Direct Student Edition (for educational use only) you are running.”How do I resolve this?Thank you!

I'm prompted with "creo agent failed to initialize correctly" on every startup. I can't use windchill or the embeded browser. This only happens in creo 4.0, creo 3.0 works fine. I've tried reinstalling. Any suggestions?

Hello, I am trying to install student version, but when I type my account credentials I get the following error:   I guess it doesn't like my account licenses? Screenshot below: Do I need to do something else to gain access to the student version?  Are student licenses also paid? Thanks in advance!   P.S. The same thing happens when I try the trial installer.  

Just recently,, I discovered that my license for Creo 3.0 student edition has expired and I can't find anything about renewing the license (I am still a student) Where can I renew my license?

Hello,I am following the tutorial from IOT university.In this course, we can connect our thingworx platform with IOT academic stimulator by putting the server, Application key & port.  I have thingworx running on localhost with apache tomcat. my thingworx server URL is http://localhost:8080/Thingworx/Composer/index.html but if I placed localhost against server field, I am unable to connect with IOT academic stimulator. I am a newbie here.My objective is to connect with IOT academic stimulator with localhost URL. Kindly share your input on the same. Thanks in advance.

Hello guys, I have a weird problem with an assembly. I came across it when I tried to move one part above another (called "Flexelement") in the assembly tree and couldn't do so because Creo claims the part in question references "Flexelement" (see attached picture from reference viewer). The thing is, I have no idea why. 🤔 There is none in the constraints and I also didn't use external references when creating said part (which is called "loadcell" btw.) Hence my question: Is there a way to systematically find the reference using the reference viewer (or sth. else)? Or is it "trial and error"? If you need further information, I'll try to provide it.   Greetz and thanx
