Dear All, This message cause i'm facing a strange issue. I worked with Creo 4 since some time without special issue on windows 7 but yesterday i installed it on a Windows 10 machine and since that i'm not able to start Creo 4 with my toolkits. I'm facing systematicaly a fatal error when creo try to start my toolkit. Do you see a reason to that??

Hi! I am having problems with installing Creo 5 student edition. I have downloaded the Creo 5 student edition and extracted the files into a new folder. I right click on the setup file and choose “Run as administrator” A pop up widow occurs stating “Do you allow this app to make changes to..” I click yes, a blue circle occurs around the mouse pointer for about 3 seconds and then nothing more happens! What could be the problem?   I am running Windows 10. I have disabled my virus program and fire wall and all network adapters except the wireless one. When I look into the folder “Install -> addon -> pvx32_64” I can run “CreoSetup” and install Creo View without a problem. I have downloaded the installation files several times. Creo has never been installed on this computer Before.

I had Creo 4.0 student edition previously installed on my laptop for school. It was working fine all semester until one day I got an error message that my license was invalid or something along the lines of that. I had then uninstalled Creo completely from my computer and tried to redownload it. However, when I use the install wizard it only installs the shortcuts and none of the software, in fact even inside the install wizard it shows creo parametric and the other programs I had downloaded as 0gb for the file size which I thought was odd as well. If anyone can figure out what is wrong with my install wizard I would greatly appreciate it!

Hi , I am writing in regards to the “finish surface” symbol that I can’t quite get to the “form” I want. I have already tried looking in the forum, but I couldn’t find anything related to the topic. I’m using the Creo Parametric 5.0 and I have an assignment which says that my roughness height should look like this:                                                                                    However the closest I get to this is this :   And this:   I am quite satisfied with the second one but is there any way to get rid of the brackets?     Thank you very much in advance! Hi I have creo 5.0 student edition installed for university, I am trying to use afx profiles but every time I try to load the profile file a notification appears that says that the file was created on a commercial version and is incompatible with the student version I am running. Is there a way to use afx on the student version I have?Thanks for any info

When will Creo 5.0 for students be available? Is there any timeline for its release?

I have installed creo 4.0 using this product codeBK410705EDSTUDENTUNICLBut when tried open and use Creo 4.0I'm getting a warning message as"License request failed for feature"&"Invalid feature name:[FEATURE NAME]"Then after clicking ok in that warning dialog boxAnother one opens and says"EFX failed to load"and after clicking "ok" in that dialog box, the software gets completely closedI don't know what to do for this issueIf anyone out there has a solution for this, pls suggest itThank you!!!

Hi, We are a FIRST Robotics team and we are trying to download Creo Illustrate from this Site http://www.ptc.com/appserver/auth/it/esd/academicFree.jsp    When we click Download Manager we are getting 404, the same message when we click on https. Hi   I have downloaded the DVD and the quick installation guide shows how to install on one PC.  How to handle 100? There is no MSI or documentation for this and i cant get any support ticked answered.  Can anyone help?

Hello guys, I have noticed on several occasions now that depictions of cosmetic threads in drawings are sometimes buggy, especially in isometric views (see attachment for an example). Is this a known issue? And is there anything to do about it?   Greetings

Hi, I’m unsure if this is the right place to post my question, but I have recently set up Creo 2.0 on my HP laptop. My College has licenses, so that we may take Creo home to install on our own devices. The installation was fine, however when I go to use Creo Parametric, it says that the app cannot run on my PC and to find a version for my PC contact the software publisher.

How to convert Creo 2.0 commercial Version to Creo Parametric Education Version? is there any way to do?I couldn't find any way, any workaround for this.One of PTC Channel parter made Creo Simulate education training book with Commercial version. Hi there   I am currently using the creo parametric 3.0 educational edition.   I would like to check / change the measurement units. However, the "prepare" tab in the file drop down is greyed out.    I've use the magnifying glass search section on the top right corner and find model properties, and it is also greyed out.   Then I tried the "dimension" function in the "Tools" header tab, that option is also greyed out.   So does anyone know how I can solve this issue or what other ways I can change/check the units? Hi everyone,I tried to open a Mashup on my tablet. It was only a basic on. Hi there, I've been having a big problem trying to open creo on my laptop. I managed to install creo without a hassle, however when I try to open it, a window suddenly pops up that says:     Please help? i've tried re-installing Creo but this error still occurs.   My laptop Model: Inspiron 7520 Running on : Windows Home 7 Premium 64-bit (is it because of my operating system?) Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-3612QM CPU @ 2.10GHz (8 CPUs), ~2.1GHz Memory: 6144MB (6GB) RAM   If it's my operating system, do you think updating it to say Windows 8, will allow me to run Creo 2.0? Will updating it affect the fact that I have a locked license?   Any help would be much appreciated!

I have cleared PTC Thingworx Certification log back. I have score card.But I need the certificate now. Any Idea where I can download the certificate.

Hello,   i cant find any license for either Creo 3 Creo 4 or creo 5. There is always a "404 - Page Not Found​"" error. How to get them? I did already download it from the university.   Greets

I launch creo 5.0 Parametric and I get these two messages, then it quits out what should I do?

I think other people have found this out too. When I try to install Creo 5.0 Educational Edition it gives an error at the license step. Any idea when this will be fixed? I'm going to stick with 4.0 for now...

Hi,I need to know how to mirror the dimension value. While selecting text style and mark the tick button on mirror and apply it. But, it not reflect in the application and automatically untick the mirror button.May I know how to use mirror button for dimenaions

I have installed Creo 4.0 and have started the first chapter of the Creo 5 book. I am able to open all part files except for the creo_base part file. it gives the following error CREO_BASE' cannot be retrieved. I have also found another issue saying that there are 19 errors in another file, see attached screen shot.

Hello all, Yesterday I have downloaded Creo 5.0 student version and the installation worked fine.   But after opening the application it is showing that the license is not valid for this version. What should I do?

Hello guys, does anyone know if there is a layer tree rule to capture cosmetic sketches? The closest I get is via "look for: cosmetic feature", "look by: cosmetic feature", and then by "type: cosmetic", which captures all cosmetic features, including e. g. threads (cf. attachment). This is not exactly what I need though since I'd like to have a layer with only cosmetic sketches on it. Can this be done or is there no better way than the one I found?   Greetings
