hello, I have downloaded creo 4 studentt version but in the begining of instalation it asks for licence code. can someone tell me where to get this code.thankyou.

i was registerin through the k12 educator but i was not able to get the software download option can u help me out

I'm having troubles installing Creo 4.0 on my system. Basically what happens is that the installer at the very beginning asks for Universal C Runtime, directs me to the page to download the update, but the update is already installed on my system but still I'm stuck in the "you need Universal C Runtime" loop.Anyone had this issue and has some feedback?

Hi, I downloaded and installed Creo 4.0 Student this week. I have been trying to use the Photo-Realistic Rendering button, but when I click it, nothing happens. How can I get it to work? I see there's a post on this elsewhere, but my 'basic' account does not let me access that post. Thanks!

when i open creo 4.0 it displays a warning "lisence request failed at feature" then when i hit ok it crashes. can some one help my fix it.

Hi,   I am trying to install Creo Academic Edition in CAD LAB of 50 machines, It takes too long for me to install in each machine one after the other, Is there any easier way to perform bulk installation at once?   Regards, Kishore

we are weeks away from the next academic year and I as wondering when the student edition of Creo4 is going to be released. We have done a lot of work re-potentially moving to 4.0 but are now being asked to commit to upgrading. Is it going to be available for download before the new academic year and is there a list of the functionality   that will be available for use in the home/college room  environment?   Many thanks

When I am selecting working directory, creo is losing files from sub catalogs. Is there any solution this problem?

Due to space limitations, I had to put parts used in multiple projects in a different folder so they would only take up space once. In Creo 2, if an assembly had a part file it couldn't find because it was in another folder, you could right click and tell it where the file was. This was annoying to have to do anytime I opened an assembly, but necessary to conserve space.This option appears to be missing from Creo 3, which breaks a ton of my past work since I can't find a way to get it to load these externally located parts. Not only that, but I tried moving one of the files that had previously been located elsewhere into the folder with the assembly and Creo 3 still won't load the part.Is there some way to recover this functionality? Are all my old assemblies now completely and irreparably broken?

Greetings,   i have a problem with PTC Creo 2.0 (studentversion) and need help, pls. I am creating a curved tube along a rail. As it seems the radius of the tube is bigger than the radius of the curved rail and it becomes some impurities. I uploaded some screenshots whereupon the impurities are marked. I tried to fix it with many possibilties but it doesn't work. The curve has been created with 25 points...   I hope that someone can help me and thank you in advance.   Best regards   Mustafa Cavdir

Where do I find the product code?

Problems during installation of Creo Student Edition I am trying to install the free student edition.K-12 - Creo. I have downoladed and extracted the files with no problem. When th PTC installation assitant is up - i accept the license terms with no problem.  But the assistand - does not repond after i put in my account infomation. it simply says (not responding ) and hangs there.

Problem Outline:These two problems are characterized by the user being unable to succesfully input their product code into "Simple License Entry" box. It can appear as one of two possible errors...The "Simple License Entry" field is greyed out and the user cannot input text in the box. A screenshot of this error is shown below.After inputting the product code and clicking "Install Licensing" the user receives a red "License Failed!" error message.Solution:Both of these errors are caused because something is interferring with your ability to contact our licensing servers. After downloading Creo 3.0 student edition and trying to 'setup licence' I cant type in the licensing key as the type box is greyed out. When I try to go through the 'schools setup' option after I enter my my PTC username/ password the download manager becomes unresponsive. how can I resolve this? Lucca.

I went to download Creo 3.0 using the install PDF to reinstall on a laptop and saw that Creo 4.0 was available for download. However i don't seem to be able to get a product key and my existing licence is not compatible. Are product codes available for the software yet?

Is it possible to update my 1 year student license? Creo simply tries to open, then stops, citing an issue with my license which has just expired. There is no option show for renewal. If it is possible, how can I do this?

Hello, I am the CAD mentor for one of the First teams and we have been using the student edition of Creo.Being a small school, resources are very limited. Not only computers, they don't have a student accessible network for printing.The stock Creo PDF writer creates PDF files 50 megabytes and larger so I have to take them to work to print out.I use Creo full time at work and recently I have the opportunity to use a company laptop with the commercial version of Creo.I know the student files and commercial files aren't interchangeable.It would be really handy to be able to work with the student edition files on this computer, and generate much smaller size PDF files for printing.My question is it possible to get the student files "unlocked" somehow so I can open them in the commercial version?Particularly the Creo drawings.It would really save us a ton of headache!Thank you
