Hi, first of all: This forum is a great source for me to use and understand IsoDraws macro language. Great. Never the less i have a question to the „element.text.backfill_color“My goal is to tell a text element to use no (no) backfill color. (note that backfill color is not the color of the written text itself but the color behind the text)Now i looked in the newest macro reference and found the way to set the color of the background of a text element as ColorSpec („element.text.backfill_color“ )But how can i tell the text element to use no backfill at all?I tried several ways but my macro knowledge is not that big (yet).I also tried to set „$ISO_NOFILL“ as a color (since it is written in the reference - but it didn’t work out)Might be super easy but I can’t find it.Any idea is very much appreciated. Hi All,We had a customer upgrade his Oracle IFS database toOracle CMS DK.The issue we have now is the graphic pathname in the SGML fragmentsare pointing to the old server, does anyone have any ideas how we could do a mass change of all the SGML content to point to the new server?BTW there are thousands of fragments!The only idea we had was to use XSLT to search and replace the pathname prior to publish but the customer is hung up on making the change permanent intheir repository.Apparently Oracle is not great at handing SGML...CheersPete

Hello all,We have recently upgraded to Arbortext 5.4 M100, and I'm giving zipped custom directories a spin.I zipped up a local custom directory with one document type in it, stuck it on a web server, and pointed my APTCUSTOM to the URI.Starting Arbortext, it looks like it's trying to unpack it, but I get this error: "Couldn't open font family configuration file Nothing I do (including physically adding this directory and file to the zip) prevents the error. Has anyone tried the zipped deploy?-Jason

I'm having trouble converting 3D drawings to 2D and adding color to multiple items. I can add one color no problem, but trying to add two different colors seems ify at best when using the Help in IsoDraw. Also, sometimes adding color works, and sometimes it doesn't. I tried adding color twice back to back, and the first time it worked, but the second time it didn't. Is this an isoDraw issue or type of 3D model I'm using...STEP vs IGES? I'm using STEP 203. Anyone have this problem and or have any suggestions?Thanks...

In the process of upgrading to Arbortext 6, I overlooked the fact that Ineed to recompile my old DTDs to support our prior editions. However,when I went to the Tools menu, "Compile Document Type" is not present.Does anyone know how to get this back, or what the preferred approach isfor 6.0?Thanks,keith

Adepters:One of our authors using AE 5.4, patch M080, found a new way to get around the lack of a text entity in their list of those available from the text entity dialog. Simply copy and paste one from another document (that uses a different set of text entities). Well, AE 5.4 sees this as no problem and simply adds the new text entity declaration to the doctype header, making the document valid. Unfortunately, our CMS process strips the entire doctype header before checking the source back into the repository. Of course, the next time it is checked out, the document is no longer valid as the text entity reference is not defined.My question, is there any way to prevent AE 5.4 from allowing this sort of action? Basically, we want to prevent any local text entity declarations from appearing in the doctype header.Thanks,Dave

I was playing with code and changing paths, It was complaining about beingin a loop, and would not break, so I used the task manager to end it. Now,Arbortext Editor will not open. I get [A17120] Assertion failed: dt, file../src/dt.cpp, line 1925I know the paths must be blown out, how do I fix it? Some command linething?Feeling stupid.d

I now have multiiple versions of Arbortext editor on the network. Ihave a custom folder for each version. I want instead to place eachversion of the doctypes folder inside the custom folder like~/custom/doctypes-5.2 and ~/custom/doctypes-5.3 and so on...I will place in the custom folder all the versions of the doctypes. Iwant the ACL init file to read the version of the editor and doconditionals to set a variable for doctype location. Really the onlydifference for each version is the DTD need to be compiled.I do not know the name of the doctype variable if any. I can figureout the rest.

We just set up a new server to run PE 5.4. I can compose using our customized FOSIs but when I try to compose using LOGSA XSL files version 1.8, I get the following errors (The error log is very long so I just copied the tail end) See attached text fileI cannot figure out if it is a setting inthe e3config.xml file, java, or TOMCAT.THanks. I've had this problem (in 5.3 and 5.4) when the PDF version was too high orwhen the PDF had security / was passworded. Using the right version orremoving the security always fixed that problem.I normally use PDF version 1.4 (Acrobat 5.x) with no security but that'snot working in the new version. I just tried PDF version 1.6 (Acrobat 7.x)which had some encryption on it. It failed on the encryption and logged thefailure. The 1.4(5x) PDFs get no mention in the log (which I have set to0/DEBUG for the TOC so the log is showing a lot) so it doesn't appear to beaware of failing. Now I've tried both 1.6(7x) and 1.5(6x) with noencryption and they both fail to get and publish the title to the DMPimage's TOC.Hmm.-- Paul Nagai

Help! Can anyone tell me how to make sure that the Arbortext Editor (v6.0 F000) Import a document dialog remembers the location of the mapTemplate files separately from the location of the file to be imported. It only seems to remember the last location used which is very annoying as the mapTemplates and documents are in different locations.Also is there any way to configure the default file type to be docx in this dialog.Thanks in advance.

Hello all,I've searched the forums for this issue and haven't found anything that matches my problem.I'm upgrading from 5.4 M080 to 6.0. I'm currently testing with 6.0 M020. I have an index generated at the end of my file in Editor. My engine is FOSI.In my output PDF, I've lost all of the columns in my index. The entries are there, but they come out in a single string instead of 2 columns. Also, in Editor, the entries used to be in a single column and are also in a single string (line).I've looked at the release notes and I don't see where anything may have been changed with this functionality so I'm feeling like a bit lost. All-in-all, the upgrade has been very smooth aside from this issue.When I preview from Styler, I get the following error on all of the psuedo index tags. If anyone has any guidance on this issue, it is much appreciated![A12552] WARNING (indexing): No e-i-c found in FOSI for pseudo-tag "ixalphagrp*", used in final index. Index formatting may be affected.

Hello all.I am upgrading from 5.3 M040 to 5.4 M100 and have noticed something odd.In one of my FOSI stylesheets, I use the system-func attrule to call an ACL function and set a savetext as the return value. This function has resided in the instance.acl file of this particular doctype and has never given me trouble (I also use it to load doctype-specific menus with no issue).Upgrading to 5.4, and loading a document that uses this FOSI, causes an error that the function used in the FOSI has not been defined. The custom menu was added. I moved the function to the custom\init and all was well again.Anyone have any ideas here?

Hello, I would like to know how to solve two requirements:1) I would like to replace tags before and after a text in the editor by a colored frame around the content of the tag. Final display should look like nested chapters/sections of the document. Can you confirm that's possible and give me information that could bring me on the way of solution ?2) I would like to know if I can also customize the navigation tree using fosi or stylesheet ?
