In my opening blog post, I asked for feedback on what content MKS Customer Community users would like to see migrated to to Planet PTC. Matt Giltaji had asked for a posting of the CSV Import tool. After some digging, I believe I've found the files Matt had referred to. I have attached them to this post.

I'm upgrading our Integrity version 11.2 to the latest, but I have to go to Windchill RV&S version 12.5 first.We currently use MS SQL Server 2008, and if I follow he documentation, I should go to SQL 2016 first, then upgrade to SQL 2019 for the next upgrade.Our DBAs say we could go to 2019 directly.Has anyone run Windchill  RV&S 12.5 on MS SQL 2019, or are there reasons not to do it?Thanks.   

Hello, I need to be able to retrieve the active Filter Query Definition on a document from the API to be able to execute it in a client-side java function that uses the Gateway.The gateway is able to do it natively in one so I think there must be a way. I am able to retrieve all the information I need via the API on the document I am processing however I am looking for how to retrieve the Query Definition Filter.I don't see any API method that can do that or even a CLI command. Here is a simple example of a Query Filter Definition I would like to get :(field["State"]="Active") I'm on WRV&S 12.4.0.5 Have a nice day,Alex

Hi, I would like to add a suggestion for new Modeler releases.  When using big matrices and scrolling down/to the side, the first row/column of the matrix cannot be seen anymore. It would be great to have a fixed first line/column in the matrices, so that it is always possible to see the names of the elements Thanks, David

Basically the usecase is we have IRC 3.4 data in form of Project/roundtrips folders in a machine A, now this machine A is getting very old and has to be replace with new machine B with upgraded IRC version i,e, WRC 4.1. After copying the folder from Old A m/c to New B m/c in user folder and later imported the required project folder. Seems it works with many warning and error messages. Warning/Error 1 : Many times continue Java related issues comingWarning/Error 2 : Database lock issue comingWarning/Error 3 : Identifiers are changed completely with Old and New m/c export operation What is Expectation on this migration… >> Copying of All IRC 3.4 project folders into new WRC 4.1 machine and achieve same Identifier whenever we perform further export operation.Ex : Doc A exported in IRC 3.4(Old m/c) with Identifier “_9c27c8a1-75df-4876-b4f0-8e811fb20384” and when after copying all projects folder to new m/c, perform further export operation of Doc A in WRC 4.1(New m/c)

Hello All, I am facing issue in 1 field (drop down) saving in RV&S from Item Preview tab, this field is saving using Item -> Edit option. But when we change from preview tab on CTRL S its not processing.Any idea how to debug.No error recoreded in server log.      

Hello All,                  The Windchill RV&S 13.2 release has updates being carried out to certain HTML Tags to future proof the embedded rich text editor and collaboration via Word and ReqIF. There would be an article shared in the month of May'23, the ask is - customers follow the article to identify if their current DB contains Tags that would require clean-up. If the result shows that there are old Tags, that means you're current deployment must be upgraded to Windchill RV&S 13.2 for the necessary healing of these Tags to be carried out.   Thanks Kartik

Dear Community,We are looking for an option to extract the data out of PTC Integrity 10.8 and store into a validated archive location (or tool) as per compliance requirements.In our company we are using PTC Integrity 10.8 for Change Management purposes and will need to migrate the data out as we moved to another solution to document our Change Controls.Note about product: Windchill RV&S (formerly Integrity Lifecycle Manager)/ Release 10.8 We would need to extract the Change Control records, their history, attachments and approvals. Currently we are in Sustained Support mode and cannot get any assistance from PTC beside going through documentation, KB or Community.Hope that someone has experience with similar activity or can at least suggest a starting point to investigate our options further. Some possibilities that we have on our mind:- export record by record through UI using a bot- using CLI to export record details, history, attachments, approvals- integrate

Integrity Document should not add as “Included document” in same Parent Document/Same Document. How to restrict this? Can anybody help with trigger option. Currently Its possible to add Doc 123 to be add as an Included document in same Doc 123. It will not open if we try but while loading its taking much time than expected. Its keep on looping and looping. Can we restrict such things with trigger scripts ? when I try to open any OP or item, I am getting error "MKS124814: Cannot show view information: IMUserCache terminated. Please try again". Please let me know how to fix this issue,              

I have installed Modeler 9.5 on Modeler server and database and license servers are on other machines. in this case if I tried to login with MWI_SiteAdmin user credentials to manage users its throwing error Authentication error.  But when all Modeler, Database, and license are installed on same machine, there it able to login WMI-SiteAdmin account. So my question here is anybody who installed Modeler, Databse, and License server, and able to login MWI-SiteAdmin please let me understand what are configuration you did.  Error log it saying SQL server connection error : could not found server error 40.   is it due to remote database issue?

How do I raise a complaint about the very low and poor support from PTC.  Given the cost the level of help is appauling.

I want to install RV&S 13.1 server on linux through console without GUI sh mksserver.bin -i Consolebut receiving error   ======================================================= Installer User Interface Mode Not Supported The installer cannot run in this UI mode. Hello everyone, for an Export of DOORS (DOORS 9.7.2.4) Modules, we are using the Windchill Requirements Connector (4.0.1.0).The Modules have attached Office-Documents, but the export of the modules only containing .ole-Objects that are only describing the preview picture (no ...Excel.Sheet.8 .... object).By using the Atego Synchronizer (2.4.3) for exporting the same Modules, there is also the office-object parsed in the ole-object. Is this a known Bug in the WRC? On the System we are using WRC, there is no Microsoft Office Application installed. On the System we are using Atego Synchronizer, there are Microsoft Office Application installed.I have a guess that this can be the reason, for not be able to parse the Office-Documents.Could installing the Office Applications, already solve our problem? The ole of Atego Synchronizer looks like:{\object\objemb{\*\objclass Excel.Sheet.8}\objw7755\objh1800{\*\objdata....}{\result{\pict{\*\picprop}\wmetafile8\picw7755\pich
