Hi All,Below is the error message that i got while importing a Document into MKS.The Document was imported with a MKS ID but after opening the document in MKS, contents of few section were found missing.Kindly Suggest.

I have a problem using the mksCommand structure using the MKS C API. I am reaching the server via Source Integrity (2009, build: 4.10.0.9049), and the environment is setup correctly, most commands works flawlessly. I have a set of queries that are Admin queries and a shared to only two groups. One of them is NOT the everyone group. Why then when I login on as a user not in either of those groups am I still able to see these queries? On page 158 of the 2009 Integrity User Guide it says: 3 Click the Sharing tab. The Sharing panel displays.  Click Choose Principals and use the data filter to select the principals (users and groups) that you want to share your query with. NOTE  Only the groups you add to the Shared With list can see your query. 

Hello, guys.Is there a way to get the local path of a sandbox based solely on the Configuration Path of the project? I know about the si sandboxes command but this returns the project name, not the configuration path of the project.Thanks is advance.

Hello,With the im viewissue command I can easily get the fields and the names of a "test case". I get the fields and the values like on the GUI, for example Title and Content. The problem is: there are more Title and Content fields in the system. If I run the "im exportissues" with the --fields=Tittle,Content, I get the other Title and Content fields. Where can I find the real names for the fields?Thanks in advance!

In my application I need to check if the user is logged into the PTCI can check the process (si.exe) and conclude that PTC is running. But I cannot verify if the user has logged into PTC.Is there any batch file to check if user is currently logged into PTC.Thanks

Dear community, I would like to use some links in itegrity. I created some doors/svn links (they are working well e.g. in a browser) Integrity says: "The hyperlink "svn:file:\\\....." is not supported. Please check with your administrator to see which hyperlink protocols are allowed. If a document was included into the incorrect target document, how do you remove it?Also, when I was trying to find the answer to this in the Integrity help content, I found the below statement. Document hierarchies do not need to be structured alike. For example, you can include a test document into a requirements document.The section that it is in is titled To include a new or existing segment into a document from the GUI. Is this accurate? I thought documents have to have the same node type in order to include one into the other?

How can I delete a state which is no longer needed nor is it used. I'm developing a batch file where I set the project location on the server and a label from a checkpoint. Based on this info I create a sandbox.The scenario has to be like this:- if the sandbox exist: resynchronize it with the mentioned checkpoint revision- if it's not, then create it

How do I restore the default view?I have clicked on a button on the top right corner of the MKS Web GUI 2009 and my sidebar is now condensed so a very narrow bar. I have hit every button on the scren and nothing restores the left hand sidebar back again to the default sidebar view.Can anyone guide me how to fix this?

Hi,We are planning to do a migration from MKS to SVN and we have found a svnimporter from Polarion and using that to do an import.I have a linux 64 bit machine and trying to installed 32 bit MKS Integrity client 2009 and it fails to invoke si and gives an error as below. I'm having an issue with the emailAdvanced.js script in a rule based trigger.A rule is established to determine when the trigger would fire. The "Post" box is checked. In the "Field Names" box I have "Assigned Group" checked. My problem is the people in those groups are not receiving the email. When I add or remove users to a group it is like they do not update because the new users do not recieve the email and the users removed often receive the email. This one has stumped me for days. This is extremely frustrating. I've been working on this project for almost 2 years. I'm putting it into production and this issue stops it dead in its tracks. Please.... somebody HELP!!

Hi guys,I am trying to make a script that creates some issues based on some properties which are in an .xml file. (State, Summary, Description, Project, Assigned User, etc...)So far, so good, but given the fact that the project is relatively new, some users didn't connect to the project and when the script is trying to create an issue with an Assigned User field with an user like that, it fails creating the issue and gives the following error message:The field "Assigned User" is constrained by the type "Issue", causing the value "uid****" to be invalid.From what I saw, for a user to be found by PTC, he needs to connect at least once on the specified project. Can this behavior be changed and make PTC send a request to the Active Directory of my company to see if the user exists and then successfully create the issue?Thanks in advance

Hi,is there a chance to insert a link to an item that leads to the project backing item?For example making the 'Project' field an active link that leads to the Project's backing item?I can get values from the project backing item by using FVA, but FVA cannot be turned into hyperlink.I would be thankful for any suggestions.Thanks,Chris

I am investigating how to use shared sandboxes, and one of our use cases brings up the need to re-scope a sandbox, but it'd be better to re-scope only a subproject, and not the whole project the sandbox was created for. This is to avoid downloading unneeded extra files from the other subprojects which can make the re-scoping take too long.

Hello,Validation team added a new revision of a file which originally had the .xls extension.Now, revision 1.6 has the same name but extension .xlsm.The problem is that the revisions with extension .xls (1.1 to 1.4) cannot be opened anymore.Any hints on how to solve this?Thank youCristina

Dear Community,I would like to add a tab to a presentation template showing additional (graphical) information for the specific item.The Template only allows static URL for the image address. Is there any chance to make the adress to the image dynamic. In other words a specific address for each item ID?To make thins clearer:Item ID 12001image adress: www.myfancygraphics.com/12001.jpgItem ID 12002image adress: www.myfancygraphics.com/12002.jpgBackground: we would like to render a few graphics showing complex relationships etc. We would render these images with nightly job, and load them into the items.Any creative ideas how to solve this issue? I basically need to use an admin account to check if a user has access to projects by running a script.Project access has been set through ACLs, but user's have been added to groups, and those groups added to the ACLs, so the viewacls command doesn't give me information for a specific user.
