Hi All,   developing a Mashup, it is a best pratice to reduce the amount of services called to get the data. Is it also right for an application that will be used only by one person? 

I have followed this tutorial to setup Rasbperry pi device. The device gets connected and inital values get upload the server. But the service code does not get executed at given interval and the modified values are not getting uploaded to server.   Is there more configuration needs to invoke the method written "GetSystemProperties"   https://developer.thingworx.com/en/resources/guides/thingworx-raspberry-pi-quickstart/configure-template-file-service

I had installed Thingworx for Manufacutring 8.4. I found "C:\PTC\ThingworxManufacturingApps\PostgreSQL" this directory on the server. Looks like PostgreSQL was installed by Thingworx for Manufacturing. I'd like to use PostgreSQL as data persistence provider. Can I install PostgreSQL 12 again? or Can I just use the existing one?

Hi, I have a query which returns the plant status and the stations in that plant status. How can I bind this in tree grid in order to show the hierarchy of plant and its respective stations?   How can we integrate the tree grid with sql queries?   Thanks, svisveswaraiya.

How to store data from Thingworx to customized excel ? but not in normal csv format.

Hi,   I have a Thingworx 8.5.2 platform installed. I am trying to use OpenStreetMap Widget but, after installing the extension I can't see it in the Widget list of the mashup. During the installation, I didn't get any error or warning message. Attached OpenStreetMap version detail and widgets list detail.   Thanks in advance.   Olatz.      

I have a thing named MVP_1 when i try to execute and get the logged values of property using service "Query named property" it is showing an error saying:   "Unable to Invoke Service QueryNamedPropertyHistory on MVP1_1 : com.thingworx.common.exceptions.DataAccessException: [2,003] Transaction failed."   please provide me actual error

hi community,    i want to make a summary of alert of an equipement that is composed by 3 devices, that means if a have an alert on 1 device or more i should calculate the sum of alert of all of them.  PS : i want to know also if an alert appear or disapper.  

I should set the permissions for all gadgets. They doesn't have a collection to do that .... do they follow settings of another collection (mashus?) or should I set permissions for each single gadget ?

Right now I am working in a remote desktop. when i open the composer, sometimes it says no Things found and same goes for all the entities. what could be the reason for this?

I am getting the above mentioned error while executing subscription on Alert trigger.

I have installed thingworx 8.5 with apache tomcat 9. but apche 9 is taking lot of cpu utilization. so thinking to change it to apache 8.5 what is the procedure for this?

Hello ,  We have configured Thingworx 8.3 also we have installed ThingWorx analytics server .Thingworx analytic server installed without error and all services are up and running properly . But how to view through Thingworx composer . Also for Thingworx 8.3 docker is not coming with installable so could you please help me in configuring docker with thingworx 8.3.   Regards, Bhagyashree

Hello,   A customer would like to use Thinkworx 8.5 with the Amazon Cloud. We could use the DynamoDB database probably using the low level API (http Requests) or is there any High level API accessible from Thingworx? We could also use the Thingworx AWS IoT Connector but It's not easy to find the documentation about it: " The ThingWorx AWS IoT Connector has been moved to End of Life (EOL), so the documentation for it has been removed from this help center." source: https://support.ptc.com/help/thingworx_hc/thingworx_cx_services/ Can I use the AWS Iot Connector 1.2 with Thingworx 8.5? Hi All Have you experimented with HTTP/2? I suspect that the TWX Composer would load faster in the browser, because there are so many JavaScript modules, particularly if the server is not local. The Runtime might load faster too. Have you timed this by any chance? It is an easy test if you have access to the server, just put HAproxy in front of Tomcat (and Apache?). Or reconfigure Tomcat (and Apache?). Then open Chrome Inspect Network tab and reload. Thanks -- Rick
