Version: Windchill 11.1   Use Case: Uploading large files using windchill rest api Description: Hi ,          I'm trying to upload a large files in windchill using rest api. I'm not able to upload  large files using rest api . Is there any ways to upload large sized files .But when I try the same request using postman, the content gets uploaded. Is there any ways ,other than file path in the upload section, can we provide chunks of files that combine all those chunks into single file.

Hello,   I would like to use Apache Maven as a development platform for my Java projects (Windchill customizations). It seems that the structure of Windchill Java libraries and codebase is quite specific. I am looking for some tips on how to represent Windchill codebase as Maven artifacts.   Has anyone tried to develop custom Windchill applications in Java using Apache Maven? I am reviewing access rights and noticed that all my contexts have Team Members granted Set State rights to WTObject for all states. This is wrong on many levels and I am surprised I never noticed this before. Is there some reason for this? I checked the General Product Template and its granted in that template so I assume that PTC defaulted that to be true.    Wouldn't this grant users the ability to change states, like setting something In Work to Released and visa versa? Does your system show this?

I have custoom wizard in which I implemented MVC table. This table is having objects which are belonging to a custom POJO class. I want to retrieve values for each column (each column is aa POJO attribute). Once I get those all column values, I want to create an object of WTDocument type.I tried with objHandle but not succeeded. Can anyone help me with process of this implementation ?

Description: After doing a test upgrade to 12.1.2.8 when I enter the Site page logged in as administrator, I do not see all links to the other pages. No File Administration, no license management, etc.Article CS329469 says to use another account that has admin rights, but that gives the same results.Further in the article is Workaround 1, but it only lists the first SQL statement to retrieve the administrator name but does not say how to edit the user by removing the administrator from the license groups.Putting the administrator in license groups works in 12.0.2 and in my other 12.1.2 test system.I did try to remove administrator from the license groups on the 12.0.2 production system, but then publishing failed as the account did not have a license.

We have downloaded the installers and placed in /appl/tmp location having full permission for root. Hi, I'm new to certificates and SSL configuration.Is it possible to secure the Windchill URL from HTTP to HTTPS using a self-signed certificate generated with OpenSSL? Or, do we need to use intermediate and third-party certificates for this purpose?I have tried with self signed certificate somehow windchill url showing HTTPS (but it is again not secure with strike-through).I would appreciate any guidance you can provide. Best regards,Shrikant Bhosle

Hello, i'm trying to find the release notes for Windchill Workgroup Manager. In past i could compare the WGM news here: https://support.ptc.com/help/windchill/wwgm_release_notes/r12.1.2.0_wwgm/en/#page/Windchill_Help_Center/WWGMReleaseNotesWelcomePg.html#but now i see that new versions of WGM are not implemented here. I am nterested in Release notes from 12.1.2. to 13.0.1. Please provide information where i can find the release notes for new WGM versions comparing to old (12.1.2)

Then, created an IBA on Problem Report.Description:  How can I get rid of the find icon next to textbox? In my usecase, the IBA should not be editable from this VIEW mode.
