We have some legacy PR's in another tool and would like to mass create them in PDMLink.They have some data that is only used in the legacy system so when we create a new PR those attribute fields for that data are not available (so unless we change the PR object we cannot manually create legacy PR with that legacy data). 

Hello all, We would like to show the name of a Change Notice in the Part structure. Right now it is showing that a "pending change exists" in the column "change status" but it would be very helpful if the name of the CN can be shown in another column.  Can this be done? Best regards!Dennis Varkevisser

Hello, I am looking for a way to export all the usernames in the windchill system. Ultimately the goal probably will be to import those names into an excel spreadsheet. Any suggestions? 

Is it possible to export a creo part (.prt) file and or assembly (.asm) file from windchill "server A" to import the same files into "server B"?

The user is encountering an issue where the Actions tab is grey'd out for her as well as not having a save/complete task within the 'My Tasks' table.  Within further investigation of the workflow, we appear to encounter this error prompt.  "ATTENTION:The (Company Name) Document - (Document COA), (Document Name), (Library Name), 1.1 object cannot be submitted at this time. To compelte this action, you must have a submit work item for this object. You will receive this work item when the Submit task is active in the appropriate Workflow.What are the ways to solve this issue?

Is it possible to configure set state action to show different target states for different roles irrespective of life cycle template?We have requirement - User assigned to specifi role should not be able to see the "xxxxx' state under target state while performing set state action

Hi Everyone,   When I check in the part into Windchill, the link drawing is not collected not only that only the part version has been changed.   I found one config that only I can use in the above Creo 8 version. I need to create a Report that shows a multi-level aggregated BOM. I know there is a report in the structure Tab with this function (see picture). But i need also one more attribute from the linked CAD-Document and i just see the attributes from the WTParts. Is there a way to integrate the liked CAD-Documents to the Report/WTParts that i can see them too? Or is there a way to get the QML of the Multi-Level Components List-Report that i can modify it in a customized report?

Promotion requests are normally controlled by specific workflow process and roles available in each context.  Creating a new promotion request for objects in one context will automatically use the roles and processes from that same context.   This all falls apart though when objects from multiple contexts are added to the same promotion request, especially when the promotion request is created from a search result.  *ANY* context can be selected, even contexts that have nothing to do with the objects on the promotion request.   In my opinion, this is a serious loophole with significant security implications.  This allows the wrong workflow processes to be used, and the wrong people to grant approval, either intentionally or unintentionally.   Is anyone aware of a preference or other method to prevent this behavior?  I imagine something could probably be done with customization, but this really seems like it shouldn't be necessary for such a core capab
