PDF/A is a ISO normed standard for PDF file used for long term archiving.CAD Workers for Creo Parametric are able to create PDF/A beside standard PDF Format, but not for Creo Elements/Direct and SolidWorks. By using SealSystems converter before introducing Windchill we used that feature for those CAD systems before but missing it in Windchill.

I am using Windchill PDMLink Release 12.0 and Datecode with CPS 12.0.2.4 Hello, i am working in modelization of types and attributes in Windchill objects. I want to modelize the creation of new attributes using Local/Standard Attributes. Our implementation process is : - Create a Softtype as a subtype of standard type - Run AddColumn utility - Create Local/Standard Attributes through Type And Attribute Manager Once the development done, we put in code configuration : exported types (XML format), *TypeInfo.java, *TypeInfo.classInfo.ser, SQL File (Alter Table add column). When the Standard/Local attribute is created, the available column is allocated, but the issue is that when we deploy in differents environments, it seems to have a gap in the mapping between the Business attribute and the column in DataBase. For Example : - Env 1 : attr1 mapped to PTC_STR_1TYPEINFO and attr2 mapped to PTC_STR_2TYPEINFO - Env 2 : attr1 mapped to PTC_STR_2TYPEINFO and attr2 mapped to PTC_STR

Data Monitor are run on saved Query builder reports.OOTB it give option the format to be generated for email, such as xml, HTML, csv, etc.These formats are similar to query builder reports, simple rows and columns.Is there a way the generated HTML can be customized to suit your format/layout.Any references would be appriciated.

I recently went through the steps to create Alias Attributes to display CN Numbers and CN Names and this worked very well for parts and EPM Docs.  When I did the exact same steps to show this information for Reference Documents, the values are only displayed for the Admin account that actually created the Alias Attributes.  Other users and other Admins do not see the values.I have checked Attribute Visibility, given full control of the reference document to a test user, looked for any deny permissions, examined profiles, and looked for layouts all to no avail. Any ideas why it went so smoothly for two Types and not the third?Windchill Version: 13

For every Product, Library and Project, each member of the Product/Library/Project Manager role has to confirm that the permissions are correct. The task has only the standard Complete Task button, no reject and no custom routing. Every manager should manually review their respective container’s role and add/remove users and groups accordingly.Right now an Execute Expression robot loops over all containers, reads the members of the role group (Product/Library/Project Manager role), and for each WTUser starts a separate process from a shared task template. It sets assignedUser (a WTUser variable) and primaryBusinessObject, and every process from the same run gets the same batchId. It works fine. We use Inventor and AutoCAD. However, when we open CAD data from the workspace, the CAD application window does not automatically come to the foreground. PTC Support provided the following response:Due to a limitation of WGM, the CAD application window cannot automatically come to the foreground when CAD data is opened from the workspace.This behavior is not limited to Inventor and AutoCAD. I am using Windchill PDMLink Release 12.0 and Datecode with CPS 12.0.2.26 If a SolidWorks custom propertiy is existing with the same name like the Windchill attribute, than the value of the "Windchill name Attribute" will updated in the SolidWorks file - the mapped SolidWorks custom property will be ignored. If the "Windchill name Attribute" is NOT existing in the SolidWorks file, than the mapped SolidWorks custom property will be updated correctly. We want the assigned SolidWorks custom property to always be updated — not the "Windchill name Attribute" attribute. In some case they need to see all the detail. Simplified Design need to have the same value as Detailed Design attributes (Mass, Volume, Center of Mass,...) Volume of simplified part CAD need to have the same position as Detailed CAD for the Structure Visualization of the Parent.Concept : Use Configuration filter to choose between multi-level BOM without or with detail, default filter is the simplified view. I am using Windchill PDMLink Release 10.2 and Datecode with CPS M032-CPS15 Bonjour, je n'arrive pas à donner le droit 'Renommer'/Modify identity sur les WTPART à un utilisateur spécifique. J'ai analysé les politiques/ACL, je lui ai donné le droit modify identity sur les WTObject sur la racine/root et sur les produits > Le bouton Renommer n'apparait pas. Il n'y a pourtant pas d'ACL 'refus' qui pourrait bloquer. J'arrive à lui donner le droit 'Renommer'/Modify identity sur les WTDocument. Au contraire j'ai un rôle nommé 'Responsable produit' qui a le droit 'Renommer' les WTPart et je ne peux pas lui enlever. Toutes les actions de rôles sont cochés pour ce rôle. J'ai essayé de mettre un deny Modify identity sur les WTObjects sur ce rôle mais le bouton Renommer reste disponible pour lui. Est-ce qu'il y a une spécificité pour le droit de renommage/modify identity sur les WTPART? Cordialement

Hello,I have actually users who use the BOM Transformer to derive the main Design BOM to make specialized Design BOM on limited scope for side analysis or tracking.We are CAD-Centric with SolidWorks, Windchill 12.0.2.8, MPMLink for the Manufacturing BOM.Actually Top-Down is not possible, so derive Design BOM for other Design BOM allow us to generate visualization and save creation of CAD assembly for these BOM.With BOM Transformer and Baseline filter, we can compare quantity, see if there is new version of the components with the equivalent link. With equivalent occurrences, we can visually highlight the downstream Part still in the upstream Part and find removed Part or new Part to add.Very useful with big assembly, but will it still work with future developments of windchill, given that the documentation does not mention this use case for the BOM Transformer ?
