Hello everyone, please tell me how to determine from which table in the Database the elements are taken to build a table on the site Windchill? I have full access to the files and the Database.

We have our revision sequencing that starts at A and goes through Y for pre-release documents and then can jump at anytime during the alpha phase to numeric revisions starting at 0. In some cases we need to define the initial revision when we load a document into Windchill to be at revision 0. Currently we do it the back wood method of revising the revision A document to revision ) and then do the promotion request. This leaves us with a revision A document that does not really exist.   Is there a modification to the OIR that can be used to select the initial revision from the revision table or at least ask for the revision to be entered?   We are on Windchill 11.0 m030 CPS08.

We are in the process of setting additional Windchill systems. One is on a secured network and the other 2 or on the open internet , though protected from outside access. We know we have more users than licenses on the secured system as the original admin put everyone in the company into the system. We have down sized since then (2008) and I have been marking accounts with a NLH (No Longer Here) to their names so we can see that someone who did something is not here. I still have more accounts to mark, but it is a low priority task.   With the additional Windchill systems, some of our users will need accounts on all 3 systems and some only 2 of the 3. When it comes to licensing, is it per username (1 license needed for all systems) or per user account (1 license needed for each user on each Windchill)? Are Windchill licenses served from a common server, like Creo licenses? This would allow sharing between the 2 new Windchill systems as the share the same network. I share Creo code

  I've noticed something today, that was different at my last company and the company before.It's my recollection that the Created On date is static, being the date a part number (or WTObject) is created. I've not checked our system until today when I noticed that the Created On date is changing with a new Revision.Perhaps it was a customization to stay the same at the last company.Is this expected behavior for most of you folks? Does anyone know where I have to go to add a column to the list of available columns when customizing a My Tasks table view? I was able to add the column on our Change Notices page (browse>changes>change notices). I just need to display on people's home page. Currently it's not listed in the available columns to add.Thanks in advance,Greg

Hello,   I am running Creo 5.0.4.0 and Windchill 11.1 on Windows 8, 64 bit.   Every time I close my Creo browser, my server settings are lost. When I launch Creo again, I have to register my company's Windchill server in order to access Cabinets/Commonspace and my Workspaces. I have to do this every time I launch Creo.   I have tried changing my Windchill "browser" to Chromium and IE, and forcing IE9. None of these options work. Additionally, I have added the "dm_remember_server yes" to my config.pro file.   Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. Will opening a ticket with PTC be my best bet? Thanks.

Did not find much information about KepwareEX as a LB with Windchill. Did anyone use this or have any idea?

Anyone have details on why the Relationship Explorer was hidden in Windchill 11.0 M020 and planned to be removed in a future release?   Here is the note from the Help Center. "As of Windchill 11.0 M020, the Relationship Explorer is disabled out-of-the-box by default. The feature will be removed in a future release of Windchill. Hi, I want to install ProjectLink to my Windchill 11.2. It requires ProjectLink 11.2 version but on PTC Software Download it's only Release 11.1. PTC Solution Installer doesn't let install with 11.1. Where I can find zip to download?

Is there a way to see the sizes of files within the Folder Contents table itself? Like to have it in between the Version and Last Modified columns?

Hi there,   we have the index search enabled and the solr service running on our Windchill server. Unfortunately, the index search is not working.   In the policy administration, there is the default setting to index all objects:     However, the indexing administration tool shows lots of "no policy" objects:     Can anyone give me a hint how to debug this further?   Thanks in advance and best regards Chris
