Hello, I would like to know if it's possible to add an argument like "-Doracle.net.disableOob=true" (see Oracle Doc ID 2987995.1) to the Oracle JDBC connection of my Windchill 11.1 application. I've read several articles without success. I'll take a look at the installation and administration guide. Version: Windchill 12.1 Use Case: Trying to map NX model attribute/property to the NX drawing fileDescription: Using the master model system in NX, where the model data is in one file, and the drawing data is in another file.  The attribute/property DESCRIPTION is entered in the NX model file, and mapped to Windchill, so it can be displayed in a column in WGM.  In the drawing templates, we use DB_DWG_TEMPLATE_DESCRIPTION to map this attribute from the NX model file to the NX drawing file, for use in the drawing format title block, but this does not work to populate the DESCRIPTION attribute/property in the drawing file. For that we have to manually copy it, type it, or link it via inter part object attribute.  We would like to automate this, to prevent errors, or simply forgetting to do it. When forgotten, it looks like this in WGM: We do have PTC_WM_IS_DRAWING set to "true", so Windchill should know it is a drawing, vs. an assembly. How would we go a

Version: Windchill 12.1 Use Case: Hi All, we have configured a dedicated BGMS for SIS and Creo publishing, however in wvs.properties, value of QueueGroup=WVS, We have given WVS name for Creo BGMs. Also we have SIS name for Dedicated BGMs for sis, however in WVS.proprties, we have not mentioned QueueGroup name for SIS, Can we add queueGroup =WVS SIS like this? In Windchill 10, the Bulk Index Process did not stop automatically—manual intervention was required.2. In Windchill 12, the process terminates on its own once all items in the queues IndexQueue1 and IndexQueue2 are indexed.Questions:• Is this expected behavior in Windchill 12?• Was this an intentional change (new feature) introduced in Windchill 12?• Are there any configuration settings that control this behavior?• Could there be scenarios where the process hangs or fails to stop?We have this question because currently we have to manage restart the index process manually(twice per day) to avoid impacts new item indexation and search.

Hi everyone,I wanted to build together a strategy to optimize the assignment of licenses to users of our companies.The main goal is to understand which users have a license assigned but are not using the system.Let me explain better: From the Security Audit Reporting utility, for example by analyzing the Login actions of the last 3 months I can see those users who have logged in, some more and some less. But I can't see who has a license and has never logged in.It would be great to be able to also see if users have nominal or ADU licenses in a single report. Basically build a report with the period filter (for example last 3 months) with columns:username | assigned licenses | login number (including NEVER) | last login A nice to have for another report would be to understand who has an Advanced license and instead does not perform any action but only does Search and View actions.Basically build a report with the period filter (for example last 3 months) with columns:username

Hello.If Downstream is created using OOTB's BOM Transformer, Thumbnail is created in the Downstream Part, but if it is created in Java using the Windchill API, Thumbnail is not created.Create a Downstream Part using the Windchill new BranchForView API.When you create a Downstream Part, the thumbnail of the part created is not visible.Upstream Part has Thumbnail.I'm looking for a way to make the Downstream Part show Thumbnail.A little bit of information is good, so please share it.Thank you in advance.

Hello Everyone, I am currently using Windchill 13.0 and trying to create a new product. When I navigate to Recent Products -> View All, I don't see a "New Product" button, only an "Add to Favorites" option. I've tried this with my administrator account as well as a user account that I've added to the Product Creator group, but still no success. Can anyone help me with this issue? Version: Windchill 13.0   Use Case: Drawing sheet displays in CreoView for NX and Creo drawings are different. Description: We use both NX and Creo for CAD and have drawings of both publish viewables that some departments annotate in CreoView for reviews etc.    Creo drawing sheets seem to show up as sheets under the single drawing object: This allows markups on multiple pages saved as an annotation set to be saved as 1 annotation set.    By contrast, NX drawing sheets seem to be displayed as separate objects: This results in annotations saving PER SHEET instead of per drawing:   I looked through CAD worker recipe settings and my local .pvr file but I'm not seeing anything that would cause this difference. Is there a way to have NX drawing sheets behave like Creo drawing sheets in CreoView?

For E.g:-1) I have type1 having choices a,b,c with values 1,2,3 2) I have type2 having choices d,e,f with values 3,2,1 3) I have type3 having choices x,y,z with values 2,3,1 If user had chosen -a,d,x then there is one part named M should have quantity as 1+3+2=6 simillarly, b,e,y is selected then M should have qunaityt as 2+2+3= 7 and so on.Description: unable to perform addition while configurating quantity parameter.

Same condition as topic, hard to call in creo parametric want to push yellow marked attribute to drawing but it looks like not possible...!

Version: Windchill 12.1 Use Case: We have different subtypes for parts, and each subtype has a custom icon. The custom icons are already configured. Many of these subtypes can be an end item. When "end item" is true on the part, we want to add a glyph to the custom icon.Description: I am able to create a custom IconDelegate following this documentation: https://support.ptc.com/help/windchill/r12.1.2.0/it/index.html#page/Windchill_Help_Center/customization/WCCG_UICust_PresentInfoUI_IconDelegates.html But I am not sure how to add more glyphs/adornments. I understand there is the IconCache cache with _addGlyphs() and mergeImages(), but I don't know what is the best way to add another glyph to the class. Has anyone done this before?My workaround would be to create another set of custom icons for each subtype, to be assigned when they are end items.

I am using Windchill PDMLink Release 13.0 and Datecode with CPS 13.0.2.4We are in the process of RH1 upgrade from 12.0.2 to 13.0.2. The customization to make wokflow comment mandatory as per CS35488 is not working in 13.0.2 system but its working in 12.0.2 system. There are only 2 instruction available in this support case for 9.0 to 9.1 & 10.0 to 12.1. No instruction available for 13 release. Please suggest.
