Version: Windchill 12.1 Use Case: Build Associated Parts for Image/Content links.Description: After a "successful" ERP migration was done to build WTParts, some of our CAD was linked to multiple ERP material masters that already had owners. CREO is our future and wanting to make those links Owner. Inventor is second priority while Solidworks is third. How can we make it so the Build Associated Part/Compare CAD to Part Structure tool works for all three cad package assemblies with a single WTPart? We thought the Image association type was the answer but PTC claims "a single CAD document cannot be associated to multiple WC parts using this type.", and we have a lot of CAD in this scenario. Is it best practice to have a one-to-one CAD package type to WTPart? Or do we need to clean up our ERP system?

I have a scenario where there is an attribute (say Sample String1)which has a pair of json values("bat:MRF, ball:stumper, team:csk") Now I will have to display these values as "Attribute-value" pair in a custom Tab which I have created. Note: These Json values are received from another third party tool, we need to display these as attribute value pair in the custom Tab. Need guidance and help on how to achieve this.

Version: Windchill Below 11.0 Use Case: We accidentally moved a lot of files and we are wanting to move them all back to there original location.Description: Is there way to find the original location of all these files at once?

I am looking at using calculated attributes on Parts. In the past, I remember an issue where they would not send properly downstream to SAP. Has anyone else every had any issues while using Calculated Attributes? I want to make sure there isn't something I am forgetting from past implementations.

This file has not been edited and is the original from the install. When a supplier provides a STEP file, should the CAD be attached to the OEM part or the supplier part?

In my environment, I have my files with the dot ".", such as "11.123.234.prt". I already have automations and integrations based on this format. Is there any way for Creo to use this name with dots or use other parameters created in Windchill to reference and work with my files? And how can I do this?This is the case of a potential client. We already knew, Creo doesn't work with dots in the file name.He already had files with dots. There are already Automations and integrations linked to this format.Can we create a new parameter in Windchill for these files and have Creo use this new parameter to reference these files?Example:The file name is "11.123.00-prt" but in Windchill there is a parameter "CREO_NAME" and Creo searches for and works with this same file by "CREO_NAME" instead of the file name "11.123.00-prt" and still keeps the original name for my system to work with it.Is it possible? I am using Windchill PDMLink Release 12.1 and Datecode with CPS 12.1.1.4Our intension is to integrate Corp Active Directory with Windchill. So I followed Article to https://www.ptc.com/en/support/article/CS29454#4 to configure access to an additional LDAP Directory in Windchill. After doing all the steps given in the Article I'm unable to login to the server, I tried to login to wcadmin but still not able to login. Version: Windchill 11.0 Use Case: I'm trying to create a Functional FMEA on PTC Windchill 11.0 and I found that the practitioner's guide, eSupport portal and other PTC documents don't provide a real step by step. When I follow what I have read so far on creating FMEAs, there has been always a blocking point and I cannot progress. What all needs to be configured in Windchill to enable the PDF and STEP file generation for a CAD Drawing representation.

I want to convert the current type of object which is a EPMDocument subtype to another subtype of EPMDocument. Will it be possible using wt.epm.util.SoftTypeChangeUtility ?

How can we enable the generation of representation automatically for a CAD drawing. After the drawing has been checked in Windchill, the representation should be created automatically for the same.

Version: Windchill 11.1 Use Case: I've got reports that show the relationship between Promotion Requests and various objects.Description: I've got reports that show the relationship between Promotion Requests and various objects.The reports for Promotion Requests to WT Parts and Promotion Requests to CAD Documents, work fine, showing the iteration of the object released by the Promotion Request. However the report to show Promotion Requests to Documents doesn't show the correct iteration that was released, for example version 1.6 was released by the Promotion Request, issue 1.1 is showing against it on the report. The object type is the only difference between them. I've tried using latest iteration, but when I put that filter on it then just doesn't show that object on the report. Anybody got any ideas? QML of report attached

Version: Windchill 13.0 Use Case: Customer sends publish job to worker. It says it failed but the thumbnail is generated.Description: Have a customer that sends jobs to the worker. The worker says job failed but it gives no error and the thumbnail is generate. 

Version: Windchill 11.1 Use Case: We used to be able to do an As Stored view against a Promotion Request to show all items at once, but now we have to go into each drawing individually to review that there are no issues with latest iterations.Description: We used to be able to do an 'As Stored' view against a Promotion Request to show all items at once, but now we have to go into each drawing individually to review that there are no issues with latest iterations, as no option appears for us to do this at the Promotion Request level anymore. This can be very time consuming, does anybody know anything about this? I believe it changed for us a couple of years ago, but we haven't changed the version of Windchill or anything I can think of that might have caused it. PDF attached to show the before and after.
