Version: Windchill 13.0   Use Case: Determine the lifecycle associated with an object in Windchill. Description: We have multiple Lifecycles from the original administrator and I'm trying to find which ones have been used by objects so I can reduce the number of old lifecycles. Is there a method to do a search in Windchill by Lifecycle to return which objects it is associated with? My second possible search would be in the Oracle tables but I don't really have any idea where to start with them in SQLDeveloper. I do have a test system that I can play with so all my production data is safe.

Has anyone set your WC environment to have some users using Basic Authentication and some users using SSO?There is a PTC KB article said it is doable, but it did not provide the steps.Has anyone done ever done with this kind of configuration?

When someone want to Sync changes from CADBOM to EBOMs, then people should understand that EBOM was not created from CADBOM and thereby have a more detailed/critical look on these EBOMs in particular.

We have created a custom link type "IBM PART USAGE" inherited from "Part Usage" link and added some custom attributes.I am using navigation Part -> Structure -> Uses -> Insert Existing to add a child part.The custom attributes are displayed in the ""Usage Soft Attributes" section , in Step#2 of the Insert Existing wizard. I need to display default attribute value on  Edit "Part Usage Link" dialog, based on the child Part its being connected to or set the value as soon as a new link is created between parent and child part/s.Description: I set datautility to the attribute in "Part Structure Usage Edit" layout , but its not getting invoked during link creation using Insert existing part.I wanted to set link attribute values using OIR , but I dont see an option to set OIR for Part Usage Link.Does anyone know which formpro

Hello, When I try to search for WTparts with specific attributes, it returns results that are not the latest revision although I specifically say that I want only the latest revision: I also tried to change user preferences to show only latest revision, but with no effect:Anyone can help?

Hello,I want to delete the data marked as "canceled" in Windchill before a certain date, but I can't delete the data that is linked or connected to a workflow. What can I do about this? Is there a way to delete it even if it's linked?

Version: Windchill 12.1 Use Case: An local insourcing strategy has required that part previously purchased externally (Linetype=Item), is now converted to internal manufacturing (Linetype=Production). The change on top level part is easy via importable spreadsheet "Part", and then change the Linetype, and Import "Update Only", But on the corresponding BOM´s the Linetype (Item) is also needed to be changed (Added upon migration)Description: Is it somehow possible to limit the extract on "Export Importable Spreadsheet" on "BOM" to only extract level 0 and level 1. I get all level extracted, but only want to do changes to level 1?Or is there an excel rule to delete all other levels on multiple spreadsheets?We also have experienced that a total BOM "Delete" is needed first, and then an Import without Linetype set on BOM Sheet, in order to get the Linetype removed from the BOM.But it is a massive workload to delete all level 2-7 parts, on all BOMSheets, before the Import.
