Windchill Navigate

Hi All Can anyone share  the steps to add a custom Mashup as an app to LandingPage in PTC Navigate? Do we need to have the App Development Kit installed for this? Is it possible to add the mashup to the existing apps, like 'View Document'.   Thanks Mahesh

Hi All,I am able to create Custom app on the PTC Navigate landing page, but the app is only available for Administrator. I am not able to find the Edit Icon for the Custom apps to Tailor for the Users. Can any one help me in bringing the Edit Icon for Custom app? Is their any documentation available to bring the Edit Icon and Tailoring Mashup that helps to Tailor app for the User Groups as functionality available for default Navigate Apps?

Hello,   I am currently analysing the Navigate Applications. In order to test the View Drawing App, I have set up a Windchill Installation with an example product, including various .PRT and .ASM files. I have also created some drawings and PDFs based on these drawings. My question is, how do I have to link the CAD-Documents/WTParts/PDFs in order to have them show up in the View Drawing App results screen? I tried to upload the PDF and link it to the WTPart under the "Described by"-Documents tab, which did not solve the problem. The only result showing on the Results page is the .plt viewable, which was automatically created by a Worker.   Thank you

Hi All,   Can anyone provide me documentation to create Tailoring Mashup for the custom apps on Navigate.So, that i can provide access of custom apps to the Manufacturing, Purchasing groups in Thingworx. I am able to get Edit icon, but i don't have Tailoring mashup to provide access to Purchasing and Manufacturing groups as we do for default Navigate Apps.   Regards, N.Sivaram.

Hi. Does anyone know how to add my custom applications on the interface of PTC Navigate? I tried something, but it doesn't work at all. I attached an imagen of the result.  

I want to get thingworx logged in user ufid from Windchill. I created an Infoengine task for WTUser to get the user unique identifier (ufid). I am wondering if I can use any out of the box Windchill connector services to get this information.   thanks, Preeti

When a newly created ThingWorx local user is trying to access PTC Navigate landing page suing below URL, system throws error. How can I fix this? I saw a demonstration at the last PTC conference  related to the PTC Navigator.  I am having a horrible time finding any information on details regarding how it works or someone to discuss the details.   Anyone out there have any idea?

For Navigate 1.4.0 we need to support Thingworx 7.3, and I can see that the artifact versions should be '7.3.0-b51'. I was able to find '7.3.0-b50' in our maven repositories, but not '7.3.0-b51', and the builds are failing when I update the version.   Does anybody know where are the thingworx '7.3.0-b51' artifacts.

Hi, all.   I imported PTC Navigate ALM extension and tailored View Requirements App as below.   When I try to search Requirement Specification Document which has only text, it works fine. However, if it has an attachment file like PNG or VSD, it cannot load the document. Other types of document work the same. Did I misconfigure something or need to configure something else?     Thanks, Yeayoung

navigate user creation

We are running Thingworx 7.1.2-b6 with Navigate 1.2.0 build 13 and Windchill 10.2 m020 CSP18.  We have recently made changes to our windchill environment.  We did a rename and conversion to SSL.  Before making this change Navigate and Windchill were working as expected.  Thingworx had been running in SSL mode prior to the windchill change.  After the windchill change I updated the SSO information and the windchill URL in the ptc-windchill-demo-thing.  I can login to Navigate just fine but when I do a search it reports it cannot find anything.  I have tried setting up the SSL Connection configuration in ptc-windchill-demo-thing and following CS247505.  Has anyone had this problem and solved it?  I also cannot find log files that would tell me what is going on.   Thanks, Wayne

Anyone knows about PTC Navigate License model? Please have a look at attached image.   Let say, I have Windchill licensed user 100, then only those 100 user can access PTC Navigate? or Non-Windchill licensed user can also access it?   Can someone throw light on this topic?

Hi. I've been playing around a little bit with the "Thingworx Windchill Connector" ​ and now I'm confused about a few services, maybe I'm misunderstanding  its use or maybe  there's something wrong with It.   When I try to test each service (create, delete, update) It asks me for some params, a DataShape, Objects, and Modification. So, everytime I add the DataShape and try to add some objects, the service throws me the next dialog.          Must have a datashape defined to add rows   So. My question is... Can anyone provide me a example of how to correctly use this service? or maybe tell me why am I failing?   Thank You.

Can we import ptc navigate and thingworx utilities on thingworx 7.1 neoj installation

Hi,  I'm trying to install and configure PTC Navigate in Thingworx 7.1.I follow every single steps and It works fine untill i try to import the "PTCNavigate_Example-1.3.0-04-imports.xml" file. It throws me the next error:Error importing: error, Import Failed: Validation Failure: Thing CompositeEpmDocumentResourceProvider Had An Invalid Thing Template : [PTC.Resource.FlattenedCompositeResourceProviderTemplate]Here is an image if you want to check it..I would appreciate your help.
