Hello, An issue that we are running into is that due to the Description field on trackers being of the “wikitext” type and being able to contain formatting/fonts/tables within it, it causes formatting issues in exported documents. We previously got around this by including a table in the template which stopped the formatting information from the description fields from having an effect, but we can no longer include this due to an issue with velocity macros we are using in our template. Could you look tell me if it’s possible for to change the type of Description field from “wikitext” to the standard “text” type in Codebeamer? I went to the specific tracker and clicked Configure > Fields but this field cannot be deleted or edited.   I tried to create a new custom field from type "text" but still this Wikitext Description field cannot be hidden and I'm not sure if I'm missing something.Changed the label from the Wikitext field from "Description" to "Description (old)" but still

What is the "S".Requirements Validation and s___@LLawton  already called this out and now we are considering using it and the first question as it was with MAPSB is what does those initial stand for? Maybe the commitment to the name RV&S is seen in that there is no "label" for it in this forum. It's called "Windchill" because PTC thinks it's cooler than it actually is 🙂

Hi All, Is there a way to export the history tab information to a searchable file format?Currently it would be necessary to search the contents of the History tab from project items. One project item contains over 40,000 documents. Scrolling through the entries by hand is simply too time-consuming as, for example, "Documented by" is re-listed every time a new document is created. This entry can therefore be listed several times a day with 40,000 IDs.Unfortunately, the History tab offers no way of filtering the entries, otherwise you could simply hide them.Does anyone have an idea or solution?It is important that it is searchable after export. Preferably in a format such as Excel or similar.

In CB 2.1.0.0, I am trying to add an existing GitHub repository under the SCM Repositories tab for a project.  It prompts me for the repository name, URL, username, password, and the SCM loop setting.  However, when I attempt to save I get the error:   SCM Error: remote: Support for password authentication was removed on August 13, 2021. remote: Please see https://docs.github.com/get-started/getting-started-with-git/about-remote-repositories#cloning-with-https-urls for information on currently recommended modes of authentication. fatal: Authentication failed for 'https://github.com/pathto/repo'   I did see a reference to using sshpass so I installed that and restarted CB but it didn't give me an SSH option and I'm still limited to the username/password.  How can I add the external GitHub repo?

Hi team, I am trying to integrate IBM DNG with Codebeamer using Windchill Modeler and OSLC services and therefore have followed the steps in the link - Adding a new DOORS Next Generation OSLC Server (ptc.com). On the nineth point, where it's asked to enter valid Consumer Key and Consumer Secret values, I am not sure from where I need to get the correct values from IBM DNG.  I know this is not the relevant forum to ask but if anybody has any idea please do let me know.

I try to upgrade from Codebeamer 22.04-SP7 to 22.10-SP10.The normal upgrade instructions ( https://codebeamer.com/cb/wiki/14336941  ) don't work. I encounter an error when starting codebeamer:  java.sql.SQLSyntaxErrorException: Table 'codebeamer.tracker_configurations_temp' doesn't exist   I then found another instruction which says that I have to perform a 2 phase upgrade: https://codebeamer.com/cb/wiki/29928667I did set the CB_trackerConfigUpgrade_preUpgradeEnabled environment variable by modifying /etc/profile. Then I logged out and back in again.Then I restarted Codebeamer 22.04-SP7. But the update of the tracker configurations does not start. And the new table tracker_configurations_temp is still missing. Please help

We came across a strange issue in Windchill RV&S related to Long Text fields.Multiple users reported that the text entered in rich text fields disappear after saving the item. I got a chance to investigate on one of the items with this issue and I had following observations.1. Changes to the field values are visible in history tab but empty on the field.2. When I edit the item and save it without making any changes, all the values are visible again. Steps to Reproduce [I am not lucky to reproduce it yet]:We have an item type with multiple tabs. Users enter values for multiple rich text fields in tab 2, navigate to tab 1 and save it. Now all the values entered for rich text fields in tab 2 are gone and it is empty.The tricky part is this issue is not consistent. Does anyone have come across this issue ?  

Is it possible to generate detailed License usage report to know full details of active users, logged in user, timings, location etc.

Hi We are considering installing one proxy server in a FSA configuration to solve some distributed teams issues.   But does it work with Workflow & Documents?   We do not use Configuration Management. The fsa online documentation mentions checkouts, merges. But how is the concurrent editing of requirements in a same project managed?   Thanks

When sending modification sheet 400000000382 to SAP:We receive ESI Failure:The point to note is that we do not have ESI Failure on BOM modifications (Destination Target 1).However, as we are dealing with a purely Customer Service Product, it also carries the Destination Target ARTICLE_SEUL, and the Change Notice also refers to this publication destination.In essence, the desired modifications have been passed in SAP but there remains this ESI Failure. "Duplicate entries for parameter UNITSOFMEASURE".How can the sending be completed without error?

Is there a way in codebeamer 2.0.0.2 to group tasks in a sprint by a common custom field? We have several different types of tasks (development task, review task, etc.) that all have a custom field that points to a User Story. I would like to group by that common custom field but cannot figure out how. I am able to group by that field if I have a single task tracker selected.

I've been trying to connect my Eclipse IDE to our Subversion repository on Codebeamer, but every time I try, it says it can't find the server or connect to it. I've checked the URL and even tried using a different tool called Tortoise SVN, but I keep getting the same problem.
