Maybe I am not using the round feature properly... But If have a single round feature that creates 7 rounds on a part. I later redefine a feature, causing the round to fail. I go into redefine, to remove the failed rounds.Say there are 3 failed references (with the red dot) that I need to remove. I am unable to shift select the 3 failed features and delete at once. I also cant select one, and hit the 'DELETE' key to remove it.I have to, one by one, select the feature, right click, select Delete. Thats NINE clicks for a function that should only take one. Hello all, I am new to Pro Mechanica. I have a question regarding to probe the reaction force and moment at a node of a beam element.In my application, I use the beam element to represent my whole equipment structure. The results behave correctly. However, I have problem to know the reaction force and moment at a node connected two beams. This node actually represent the bolt joint connection in reality. Therefore, I want to know the force and moment reaction at this particular place.Since Pro mechanica consider the beam connection is a rigid link and I can only output the reaction force and moment at the constraints. Is there any way I can find the reaction force and moment at node between beams when there is no constraint there. Thank you all.

Hello,I don't seem to understand why the results are as shown in the attached picture. Hello,   I would like to add contacts to my model.  There is a part that travels up an down a rod following cam paths attached by a spring.  I have a washer at the end of said rod, theoretically, keeping said "traveling part" from coming off the end of the rod.  When I attempt to use the 3D contact feature I am not able to select the two surfaces that I am interested in.   I am fairly new to Mechanism so it's possible that more information is needed to respond.  Please inbox me for any additional information and/or clarification. Hi,I have case where I need to calculate effort required to rotate platform about vertical pivot. Platform has its own weight around 200Kg and weight itself resistance to move. I am new to the Creo mechanism and knew little things about this application. When I have a model open in Creo View my internet explorer does not function correctly and often crashes when I try to open web pages.  Creo View also crashes when this happens.  Any ideas on how to fix this?This thread is inactive and closed by the PTC Community Management Team. Does anyone know how Creo determines what is the horizontal / vertical direction if you are creating a section where the sketch-setup allowed  you to skip specifying the "orientation" reference:(for me it's similarly puzzling how the "make view aligned to face" function works in Solidworks / Creo 3.0 Reorient an object “normal to” a planar surface or plane)This also made me think whether it should be easier to start sketching from simply selecting a coordinate system?  As you can see in the above example, I have to first make a sketch plane that is defined as "thru x-y of the coordinate system O), and another plane "through Y-Z" to define the orientation of the sketch (well, apparently I don't have to have this 2nd plane, but I am not sure what's going on there...)I think it would be useful in some cases if when defining the sketch placement, you could select a coordinate system and then specify the plane (xy,yz,xz), and the horizontal / vertical directions from that coordina

I searched through old posts about units and such but didn't find anything pertaining to my situation.I have a model that is in our standard units (in-lb-sec).Within this part file, I have also defined a custom unit GSM = grams per square meter (mass per unit area).I need to use a text string to represent this calculated value, but when I attempt to define it via:txtGSM = ITOS ( calculatedGSM )I get a blank string even though the calculated value is 456 GSM. This is because the value that is being used for the ITOS "calculation" is being used in units of pounds per square inch, and the conversion is 1 GSM = 1.4194E-06 lb/in2.The work around is to (obviously?) convert the value using the above factor. Is there a way to specify the units of the value that is to be used in the ITOS function or any other function? I tried the following:txtGSM = ITOS ( calculatedGSM[GSM] )but got an error. A coworker was trying to import a logo dxf into a sketch and received a warning that there are too many entities with the intent manager turned on.  We looked for a way to turn off the intent manager and could not find it.  Using the help center I found a topic that there is no longer the option to turn it off.  Any hints on how to get a dxf with many entities in with this issue?We did final import the dxf to a CYS and projected the lines to create the sketch.This thread is inactive and closed by the PTC Community Management Team. Hello everyone, sorry for my english. I have a problem with Creo 2.0 M010. I have assembly model. When i create xsec in assembly i can save it, but when i create a drawing with hatch view and save it, creo shows me a error dialog "fatal error, information in traceback.log file". After this manipulation my assembly file are corrupted, and i open previous version. Often with top-down assembly the bounding boxes for parts are not representative of the part, and this means that the automatic fit-to-screen function doesn't operate as well as it could. How to make a "flexible" hose in MDO- this is in response to a previous question. It's nothing fancy, but can be a lot of fun to play with. Try modifying the amplitude of the driver on the center joint. When I save an excel with some data from a Creo 3 mechanism analysis, the extension is .xlsBut when I open this file in Ms Excel, the program starts with the following warning:The file will open after selecting "Yes", but appearantly the file is in a wrong format. I want to add constraints, can be contact or distance,  in assembly using two sphere surface, (both surface with same DIA). But looks like  it does not work, please see picture. Any one can help? One more question is , in the same assembly. There are some datum plane showing on the screen. They are from the component level when I worked on the detail drawing.
