What are you using for machinable plastic? I do a lot of drilling so the material can not melt during this process. I like to use polycarb but the money people are crying about cost?
Here's another one. I am slightly spastic, and rather twitchy, and very lazy, so I use a Microsoft Optical Trackball, which allows me to program one button to be exclusively 'double-click', then set the 'double-click speed' so fast I can't do it manually, and still have the normal three buttons (click, middle-, and right-click). Trouble is, ProE WF4.0 seems to be ignoring the signal from the one button that is 'double-click', probably because it isn't setup to recognize this particular driver. Can someone tell me how to fix this? I would really rather not have to go back to a standard mouse.jw
Hello I was wondering if anyone else has come across this issue recently withProE maintenance. I got a quote from M.R.C. Maintenance Reseller Corporation Authorized Reseller of PTC MaintenanceContracts for North America400 West Cummings Park Suite 4450 Woburn MA 01801Are all the maintained contracts going thru them? Does anyone have a 1/4-28 grease fitting? McMaster does not have one for downloading.
Hi, Raymond, Peter Question: Do you have the same issue like me? When I do NC Sequence for face down the work piece and I set the tool on entry to leading edge and on exit to center it does not work correctly the tool goes to the heel. Do you know why? Or it is an internal issue with the software? Version used WF_2.0, 3.0 Thanks, Mike

Is there any way to filter the layer tree so that only layers actually containing items will be displayed? We are using rule based layers and would like the layer tree to only display layers that have something on them. We don't want to hide the layers, just have them not shown in layer tree. There does not seem to be any filter for this built in. WF2 M260.Thanks,Mark Ganzer

Is there a way to import layer trees? For example, I often times import cad models from vendors of various fittings, valves, etc. I spend too much time creating and naming layers to correspond with my companies standard layer naming convention for designed parts.

All it takes is a quick search on a site like Snopes, as Brian did, toensure that this kind of e-mail isn't perpetually forwarded. Check first, then forward once you know it's true. Anthony TroupeSr. DesignerMGS Incorporated178 Muddy Creek Church Rd.Denver, PA 17517

When I attended the PTC Users Conference 2006 in Dallas, TX, I remember in one of the seminars the instructor covered a command called Fast Highlight. This command controls what happens to your model geometry when you drag your mouse across the screen. Has anyone else heard of this command in ProE/Wildfire 3.0 and how to turn it on or off? Thanks, Mike
