Hallo zusammen! 3 posts früher wurde die Erstellung von Gewinden mit der Helix-Methode beschrieben. Funktioniert, aber doch recht zeitaufwendig Gibt es keine andrer Variante? Es kann doch nicht sein, dass in einem CAD Programm die Erstellung von Gewinden nur über Zusatzmodule ermöglicht wird!!! Weis jemand noch eine Lösung? Besten Dank und Grüße! Daniel

Hello, Has anyone checked lately on going from ProE to Google Sketchup? Fromwhat I've found in my search it doesn't look like there's a way to godirectly from ProE to Sketchup even if you get Sketchup Pro. If anyonehas done this conversion and would be willing to share what steps theytook that would be great. Thanks,John

I get this when I convert data from STP file, is this just a file that is created to represent a solid component that has no file number associated to it?

No doubt users hate change, believe I'm experiencing this with ourcurrent Windchill implementation. But the case I make reference to had nothing to do with change, theproduct just simply didn't work. Kevin

Hi, I used to have a maintenance contract, but it has expired. Should I be able to access the online documentation? or do you need active maintanance? Seems a little harsh if they stop you accessing the documentation when your maintenance expires?

How do you model a concrete analysis in mechanica given the differing reactions of tension and compression? Is it possible?

I need to create a bulk file, how is this done?

I am trying to open a file that I found out is a bulk file. What is a bulk file and how do I open it? When I try to open I receive an error that states "Can not retrieve bulk item"

Can anyone explain the difference or tell me where to get additional informaition on port maps and member maps?I'm using RSDesigner 5.4I currently create variable connectors and then assign the appropriate dataset to each.I currently have to change the properties of each port of every connector to assign the entry_port property.I am looking for a way to more easily do port assignments.If i recall correctly from the minimal trainingI recieved, those two items are likely to ease my pain and help automate the proces a little more.Nathan Gugliotti

I've been looking to acquire a Symbols Palette for the BioMech Engr team to use, but haven't been very successful. Google searches have found DWG/DXF libraries for sale and instructions to convert files into SYM, but I'm trying to make a nice set of symbols available with minimal time input.Does anyone have any suggestions as to where to download, purchase, or otherwise acquire something like this?TIA

Hi has anybody found a way to change the colour of how construction lines appear when in sketcher mode. If I draw some lines then change some to construction lines or add construction lines they both appear as yellow , this makes it very difficult sometimes to distinguish at a glance which is which. I have been on several forums including this one and have found nothing.....!! any help would be much appreciated many thanks
