Long time Unigraphics/NX user here and new to Creo 2.0.    I need to create several models that are basically revolved.   I will import in some Iges files with a cross section.   In Creo, I take the lines in the cross section and project them into a sketch and then I revolve the sketch to create a solid.    Is there an easy way to assign dimensions and break the link to the imported files and be left with what looks like a "clean" Creo file with a sketch, etc.? Thanks

In a recent workaround I discovered right mouse button customization and in case people are unaware its a great way to reduce and relocate the info stored in a right mouse button selection. File...Options...Shortcut Menu is the path. Then you can remove or relocate items as you see fit.

How do I delete this place holder 3D printer. The "Remove" option is grayed out.Thanks,

when i installed creo Parametic it is saying that Crea Parametric is shutting down because it could not run the quality Agen, which is required in this edition if you can call Technical support about this problem, report error 0x06000003

hello       I have modified start.mcs file to create a new parameter (drawn_by)  in model and i want to pick the value of this parameter from drop down list so i have modified the start.mcs file aPRT_PARAMETER DRAWN_BY STR EQ LIST_DESIGNERSSTD_USER_LIST_FILE      designers.txtand also the designers.txt file contains name of list of designers in defined way , and file also placed inside text folder.but the result is not showing as expected.on the other hand if add all the items of designers.txt file to start.mcs the result it is showing is correct.please find the images for more clarification

I open workspace to review info, and then I will close it to do other work. But I can't reopen this workspace without refresh. When I click on Workspace(note1 in pic), it will open the screen with refreshed workspace.is there a botton to open the provious workspace without refresh?

Hi,I need to write the date    /MM/YY in a sketch in Creo Parametric 2.0.I use the Text tool.I need to update automatically this date every time that i open the file.I know... I can use a parameter from the model parameter list, but i don´t know how to create a parameter with the actual date and always update it.Anyone knows how to do this?Thanks.

On my system is a customized command "OberflaeSymbole" its not a bad one. But unfortunately there is a small error in it and for me that means I have to change the symbol height to change every time from 2.5 to 3.5.I'd like to fix that but I don't know how to find the file in which the command is located.Help will be appreciated.

In Creo, annotations are automatically added to threaded holes. This is nice for a MBD manufacturing environment. Any plans to introduce this in holes created by EMX soon ?   Jose

Hello, is there any way of placing my emx components with a repeat function? I have several componentes to assemble, and i don't want to open the interface window again. I want to have the same option that emx have for placing water lines. you chose the componente, and that you just have to select the curve and the plane in "LOOP MODE" Is this possible?   thanks   Pedro Neves
