Hi everyone.can anyone tell me how to modify a counter bore hole havong custom size.........I wanted a CBR hole having dimensions D=0.218 deep=0.051: d=0.157 through.In creo the option to enter 'd' value wasn't highlighted.Please someone help me out here.Thanks in advance.

Hello,I guess until I get access to the PTC Community page internally which I have requested I will need to use the old fashion way of asking for some advice.How are Creo administrators handling the Creo Help deployment on a global basis?With the size of the help system I am look at placing Help on our master file vault and replicated Windchill file vaults in Europe and Asia Pacific.Using that strategy how are you pointing clients in each region to the correct server?We use 4 digit facility codes for each building and the user's computer name has that for that facility code.I was think of adding a call to the Creo start file based off %COMPUTERNAME% to point to the correct help URL.Anybody have any better ideas?Thanks in advance.Regrds,John Schaaf

Is it possible from the "File" Open" command to open multiple files?If you type in "ABCDE*" and 8 files are shown and you want to open two of them together. Can you pick two and open both of them? Or just sequentially?Thanks, Dale

I want to see the product result of multypling two parametets. For example I have meaured the area and also the lenght of a hole and I need its valume to see dynamically ( such as saved analysis in measure toolbar), Does anyone know a simple way?

Hello,We are currently on Creo/Elements (Wildfire 5). It looks like we are going to begin discussions next week about upgrading to either Creo 2 or 3. Other than the obvious learning curve to either, are there any concerns or considerations that we should be aware of to help in our decision on which one to upgrade to? I have a vendor that wants to use my solid model files that I created in Creo 2.0 for CNC programming. They are requesting the files to be in DXF format. This is the format there software allows them to use. When I convert my 3d Models in PRT format to DXF format, errors occur. I understand I am going from 3d to 2d. Is there a way for me to convert these files to make them work correctly? When I open the DXF files, it looks like the information isnt there. When I convert a basic plate to a DXF file with basic 2d features, it converts fine. Any help would be great.

Scheinbar wird standardmäßig ein Verhältnis zwischen Bohr- und Gewindetiefe mit dem Parameter DEPTH_RATIO angegeben. Hi,I have assembled a turnbuckle and I have placed the two spindles with 'slider' constraints. However, I would like both spindles to move symmetrically related to the body of the turnbuckle when one spindle is dragged. I thought that it was possible to create a relation that would make the distance from the body of the turnbuckle to the spindle half of the extension.Does anyone have experience with this?RegardsNiels

I'm hopfull someone can help me with this. I've tryed asking tech-support, althougth he was very helpfull we were'nt able to get this working. When I run a Mass Properties analysis it doesn't show in the model tree. I have run the analysis about 6 or 7 models and the analysis shows up in the tree, but now the analysis will not show up on newer model and analysis.Thanks in advance for any help

I'm sorry to be asking for basic help but I seem to be having a hard time. Edit: 3d curve is referred to as wireframe in other cad programs?I am attempting to make a body with space hollowed out inside. I've created a circle and pulled it a distance through the body which hollowed out an area. I then moved the work plane down and created the internal shapes I need... Except now the material is not being removed from the outer body (no internal space created).How do I remove material from a body using 3d curves?Also how to I attach 3d curves to each other. Arrows in my image are pointing to where there is a disconnect between features. I've also attached my wip so feel free to get me going in the right direction. Thanks for the help. I just installed creo 3 on my computer 3 weeks ago. When I open a model and try to zoom in and out with the center wheel on my mouse nothing happens. I have creo 1 and 2 on the same computer and it works just fine. I tried a different mouse and nothing.

Hi all,I've started dabbling with 3D annotations & notes with a view to going paperless in the near future. One thing I'm wrestling with is the varying style, notes are different to dimensions, but also neither are to any pre-defined text size or font etc. Is there anyway that you can set the default text style so that all 3D annotations appear the same when created?
