I downloaded the Creo Elements student edition. I was giving it a test run and when I go to sketch something, the wheel button doesn't exit the command. I am using Windows 7. Can anyone help me with this?
http://www.blendernation.com/2014/06/20/non-blender-the-milkmaid-in-3d/The post title is almost a pun, but I came across this 3d in-broswer view based on a painting. I wonder how they figured out the liquid level in the jug. It's realistic if she's poured enough and is just stopping.
any buddy repair and sold the Creo file?
In PTC's annouments of Creo 3, did they mention which Windchill releases (and builds) are compatible? They haven't yet updated thier compatibility matrix at ptc.com.Gerry ChampouxWilliams InternationalWalled Lake, MI
Hi All,I love the exploder and have used it for over 20 years thru several companies.I am now at a point within my current company where I need to use NX. I can only recall hearing this product mentioned once or twice in the Exploder.Does anyone know if an "Exploder" exists for NX. Does anyone else use NX in any capacity, or have any feedback?~Doug
I have 3 "breakout" local x-sections on a view that have all lost their references. In the past, I remember that when I clicked on the missing reference in the properties box, it would highlight the reference "X" (for lack of a better description). Now it doesn't highlight anything. With 3 references, I have to guess which one is which. Not too hard but just a hassle.I actually noticed this last week on one I that had 7 local x-sections. That was a big pain in the xxxx.Anyone know if there is a x-section highlight option that I somehow turned off or maybe if I changed my regular color to highlight color? Before I get chewed out for not selecting robust references, this project is a copy/change of another project, so a bunch of minor details changed that caused a ton of little fixes.[cid:image001.jpg@01CF8AD7.06AAC3D0]
Is downloading....
Whenever we are creating a sketch for a cavity id for example, the default font for the text in the sketcher tool is font3d, and i would like to change it to just font. We only need a single line sketch of the numbers or letter for engraving. Anyone have any ideas on how you change that default?
Mr. Mike Lockwood, I could use someone like you in my organization. You cannot imagine how manyemail messages of yours I have managed over the years. You are a valuablecontributor here. Michael P. Locascio
Dave,I could not agree more. Insanely bad idea from PTC.Barry SchaefferFlukeEverett, WA
All- I see no upside for PTC to destroy something (the Exploder) that has provento be extremely popular and effective for years. If the Exploder were to disappear and some entrepreneur came up with areplacement which was equal or better, I would willingly pay somePandora-like annual subscription fee to be a member. I took the liberty of adding a couple more groups to this message. Manyemployers do not allow online social sites. Mine does... sorta. The ruleschange quite often & are ambiguous to say the least. Last I heard we werenot supposed to post at all on any Internet forum. So far, my IT folkshave left email alone.PTC has always "wanted" a lot, & now they want to force us to use theirslow, cumbersome Internet community. If they want it so bad, thenintegrate email with it.Regards,Joe S.On Tue, Jun 17, 2014 at 6:19 AM, David Haigh <->wrote:> The shocking news from day one of PTC Live is that PTC want's to "absorb"> the mail exploder into their on-line communities forum.>
Is there an easier method of producing truncated Diameter Dimensions as shown in the attached screenshot?I currently use Creo Elements/Pro 5.0 and I find producing Truncated Diameter Dimensions quite time consuming, when shown in a Detail View, where the Axes of the Diameter to be dimensioned cannot be shown as it is outside the boundary of the Detail View.At present I have to make the Detail View Boundary large eneough so that the relevant Axes can be 'Shown', then dimemsion the necessary Diameter(s), then re-size the boundary again to reduce the size of the Detail View Boundary, and then finally erasing the witness line I don't want to show.Hopefully there is a much simpler method than this, that someone kknows of, as I find this method really painful
The most noteworthy I see coming from it todayis the announcement that PTCuser will apparently be absorbed into PTC via PTC Community. It's like that Elmer Fudd cartoon with the worried hunting dog listening to "Two go out, but only one comes back."PTCuser isa nice forum. I'll miss it.x
Let your browser persist and it will eventually log you in.It is not just the Community but the whole site.I tried to get ito support earlier and it - f i n a l l y - logged me in.Here is hoping someine is looking into this.I'm on IE.
Hi again. Could you please give me a list (maybe from the help application/ with search) which show all of PTC Creo objects that use NURBS method..? for example a list with description for each object.(always on programming interface)Thank you!
When planning on going to Creo2 from WF4, a PTC rep told us (in person) that there were hundreds of enhancements while no features were removed. For those who are using Creo, we know that this is simply not true.On the PTC Community website I started a group document (which anyone can edit) to start collecting all of the dehancements with the purpose listed at the beginning of the document (give users and PTC the heads up hoping to get the capability back). Please view, comment, add to the document as you find features that are not in Creo but were in ProE WF2-4.
Hi,I have been creating my own standard hole tables and notes. I made some progress on the "standard hole" option (the one with threading, csink, cbore options). The standard hole only allows a clearance hole or a drilled hole. My problem is that the drilled hole only allows me to have a pointed tip. so I see it as I have 2 options, but I don't know that either option is even feasible.1. Can standard holes have a flat bottom drill?2. Can I create notes for simple holes using a .hol file?
I used Creo 2.0.M050 and vendor provide Cero2.0,M080 file to me ,I cannot open it ,any problem of this ? if I can`t update to M080 ,any solution to use M050 to open it?
Working with SW, it brings in bend radius by default. Is there a way to set this up in Creo Parametric 2.0?
I am in the planning to upgrade, convert and migrate from an old Relex version 2011 (SQL 2005) to Windchill Quality Solutions 10.2 on a OS 64-bit box. Is it true tech support will support SQL Server 2012 now? Does this big a jump of SQL versions change anything in the upgrade process? Are there any concerns or issues I need to be aware of? Any recommendations or suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thanks.
How can I have a customized permanent library? I don't mean like I create a cutomized material and everytime I recall it from my harddrive. I want to pick that quickly and share it with my other co-workers as well.
I need to move two/three locations simultaneously. Is it possible?
Hello, I'm a french student and I want to turn the language into French. I downloaded the option french but i don't find it.Thank you
All,On WF5...I've been asked to do some simple photo like renderings of simple parts to sell our services.I've used the Pro/E rendering tool in the past and was not all too impressed with results. Maybe because I did not put enough time into it? I've not used it on WF5 at all - yet.Anyone have a "cheat sheet" on doing simple renderings? I'd prefer to have someone's personal input (from talented group members) rather than comb thru "too much information" on the module itself. Thanks,WayneF
