I'm wondering if anyone has done any work with Splines and holding the length to a fixed value? This assumes that the endpoints could not get any further apart than a straight line, but as the ends got closer together (by way of some other constraints) the spline would "buckle" (for lack of a better term) to mimic the behavior of a semi rigid component (like a hose).
How to change the spline line properties in partial view in 2 d ex: i want to set the partial line boundary like phantom , centreline or so on ?
Does anybody know how to get an angular dim as shown in the image? (in Creo Parametric 2.0),
Have attached image for your refernce .It would be better if some one have created & share the profile
Does anyone know how to change theSpline Boundary Line ofa Partial,or Detail View?I know there is the option tonot "show spline boundary on view".I cannot seem to find away to show Spline Boundary Linewith a different line type. A way around thisI sometimes remove spline display line and manually sketch in a spline and thenchangeline type. It's too much manual work and I always have to re-adjust it whenthe view boundary changes. I was hopingsomeonemight know away to solve this.I`m currently using Creo 2.0 Parametric 2.0
Hi again, Also, where is the Materials Folder? (and WHY is it so hard to add a newmaterial to it?) -Nate
Is it possible to add custom profiles to the framework. The rectangular and square tubes are with rounded corners and for calculating purposes we need them to be straight. Also for we use custom profiles for our customers. We used the same trick in Inventor, but in Creo I don't know it this possibility is here
I just had a phone conversation with a guy that sells 3D scanners. He doesn't sell any of the scanners that will do what I want, so he didn't have an axe to grind. He's been in this industry for quite a number of years and according to him, none of the scanners I listed will do what I want.He suggested the following scanners for doing room scans. None of these are cheap, but they do exactly what I was looking for a scanner to do.Surphaser
Once a parameter is created, is there a way to change from the Parameter Type (ex: String, Real Number, etc) after hitting the OK button?? Or do you have to delete the parameter and create a new one??
We just migrated from WF4 to Creo2. in WF4, once we completed a dwg we alwaysused the show/erase dialog as a fast way to check if the dwg was fully dimensioned. Please tell me there is a fast way to do this in Creo...?Does anyone know how to quickly show all dimensions (or "annotations") regardless if they were "errased", or "deleted")?Thanks, Lawrence
I am printing out a model (parts on a fixture) and I have annoations that show up. This only happens on a few prints. Any thoughts on what may be causing this and what I need to change to prevent it.See below:Thanks, Dale
Hello everybody,In our company we are new to using Creo parametric. Comming from Inventor it is a pretty big adjustement.A simple thing which I don't seem to figure out is how to convert a project line to a construction line. A normal line I can convert with holding right mouse button and selecting it. But for a projected line it isn't there.ThanksBerry
My maintenance invoice went up 3% this year. Anyone else experience this? That Makerbot sure is looking like a bargain compared to PTC maintenance!
Hallo zusammen, bisher ist mir hier im Forum immer gut geholfen worden.Daher möchte ich die Zeichnungsvorlagen nach EN ISO 7200einstellen.Mit freundlichem GrußWerner

What is the macro language for Creo?
Anyone have any data comparing performance or stability of Creo 2 on 32-bit vs 64-bit? We have discovered a big difference in stability on Wildfire 4.0 but I need data on Creo 2. I have searched for similar discussions here and have been unable to locate this specific discussion.
I am not able to display hidden line in creo paramatric 2.0
Qualitätsagent, der in dieser Ausgabe erforderlich ist, nicht ausgeführt werden kann. Fehler 0x06000012
Can anyone explain what this parameter does? i cannot find anything about this, not google nor this community nor the Creo help nor any of the PTC cases... typical (i can imagine what it does, but i would like some official info or experiences, because i cannot see any reaction after editing its value).Greetings, Arno
I wanted to show someone a Jpeg. of my model but i want to change that boring white or grey background. Is that possible to have my own background texture? If yes, how?
Anyone know why sketcher is displaying so many decimals on dimensions that I make strong? My company recently switched to Creo 2 and I never used to have this problem. I didn't define these values with this many decimals...Creo did this automatically for me.
