Hi All,I have query, Model was created in Creo 2. How can i open in Creo 1 or Wild fire5.Thanks,Chandra
There is a command at Proe 4.0 : Info ==> audit trail , it can generate the "Audit Trail Report", but at Creo 1.0, I can't find it .
I downloaded an 80/20 CAD Model off of 3d Content Central, however it's too short. I need it to be 17.5"s instead of a measly 12. Is there anyway to extrude or stretch the model to fit my wishes?
Gurus,Can you change the width of SKETCH lines? I would like to see them bolder.(Something like what I sketched)Thank you.-ArtWF4[cid:image001.png@01CE295D.8E2379B0]A r t G a r i b a yDrafter IIIPacific Scientific EMCHollister, CAPhone: (831) 637-3731 Ext 523....This message (including any attachments) contains confidential and/or proprietary information intended only for the addressee. Also: Ich muss einen elliptischen Kegelstumpf In mehreren Größen erstellen.
Does anyone know when Pro/E will support the latest Dimensioning andTolerancing standard ASME Y14.5-2009? I searched the knowledge base andthe ptc.com and found no reference to the new standard. Thanks, Mike Foster ATK Space
Im new to 3d drawings, I have a solidworks IGS file which I can open in wildfire 4 but, when I try to then change to a DWG it wont let me. Is this because of dimensions not on the IGS file?I appreciate any help on this matter
A lot of people wish this was possible, however nobody that replied has beenable to make it work. It seems that I should be able to get thisinformation somehow. Thanks to those who responded,Rob Devaux
Creo 2, M040I like the nice command search tool, it's handy. Today I went searching for 'mapkey' and find that it's under 'Commands Not in the Ribbon'.My question, if they aren't in the ribbon, where are they? Is the only way to access the 'mapkey' command through the search tool?--
Looking to try to create a wavy washer and a washer with radial teeth cut into it? How would I go about doing this? Thanks. Jon.
Hi guys, I need a 3d model of a large golf ball, which is around 500mm diameter. It is beyond my capabilities so I was wondering if any of you are good enough to do it? If you could make it flexible enough to change the diameter and the dimples accordingly that would be even better. Thanks Please email to leecasey at leecasey . com
Edrawing folks:I want to put an Edrawing .exe file on the web. Anyone know how to do it so it opens the .exe and not request to download?WayneF
Hi there,Can anyone tell me whether Creo Elements/Pro can display hole and shaft tolerances as Nominal +/- tol (H7) as in item 1 below, rather than Nominal H7 (+/- tol), item 2 below??Many thanks.Adam
I created a new blog post here.
Here's a little problem that customers run into every once in a while and a way to get around one of Creo Simulate's limitations. Suppose you have a laminated composite with a quasi-isotropic layup (say, [0/+-45/90/90/-+45/0]) and you know only its equivalent smeared properties, which are equivalent to a transversely isotropic material. Or perhaps you have some other material that is transversely isotropic. Now suppose you want to assign that material to a shell idealization with the unique direction normal to the shell. How do you do that? Unfortunately, it's not as easy as it should be. When specifying a transversely isotropic material on the material definition dialog, the unique direction is the 1 direction and the plane of isotropy is the 2-3 plane.Figure 1To specify how this material is aligned in your model, you need to define a Material Orientation. The 1, 2, and 3 directions of the material orientation correspond to the 1, 2, and 3 directions of the material. However, for mate

How can one enumerate the commands available in the menu bar or the ribbons?
I'm having an issue with my imported DWG file disappearing. Whenever I import it at 1:1 scale, the sketch disappears. It will only stay if I keep the scale at a higher number, The sketch is a simple cylinder profile which i'm goign to revolve. Is it having problems with adding dimensions and thats why it's disappearing? The steps I take are begin a new sketch on a plane and choose Get Data>File System. Choose profile DWG and change import scale to 1:1. When I hit the green check mark, the sketch disappears. Help??
My dynamic rotation speed (or sensetivity) decreases the clsoer I zoom into a model. How do I change it so that it's constant regardless of how much I zoom in?
Hello, this is my ptc host id : 74-2F-68-02-D9-6AAs you can see it doesn't begin with 00 or 08, so Pro engineer 4.0 can't be installed correctly, What should i do ?
Don't you love it when Pro/Creo blows you completely out of the water?I don't have it as often as it used too, but it's still as frustrating.
Found it just minutes after I sent out the call. It was under RMB Set Representation then choose User Defined.I first thought that was only for new creation not for picking from a list like it is.Thanks,Ron
