I am trying to extend the trajectory of a swept cut. All attempts yield an "invalid trajectory". Non-extended trajectory works fine. Trajectory curve is simply a projected arc. Is there a known issue with extending projected curves? Something else I am missing?WF4, M130.Thanks for all responses/suggestions.-Andy

So I just downloaded creo direct and was playing around with it. This is a super simple question but can't figure out how to do it. Want I have is two parts, each a cube and I want to align the midpoints like thisSo I tried using the position by two points tool, but the cursor doesn't seem to recognize the mid points of either edge. We will be installing Pro/E in our Asian facility and I need to know how to get Pro/E to run with Chinese menus, fonts, etc. I figured out how to run setup in Chinese, but all the Pro/E menus are still in English. Has anyone done this and can point me to what I need to do?TIA,-Keith

I need to run an analysis on a gear to see the tooth deflection induced by the shrink fit of the bore on to a shaft. Loading is easy just a simple pressure load applied on the bore, but how do I constrain it properly? I was thinking perhaps using a cyclic constraint? Any ideas?Thanks,Chris.

I am able to retrieve an item from PDMLink by just typing in the file name in the File-Open dialog in Pro/E. Another user is not. This other user does have permissions to the file, because he can navigate to the file in PDMLink then open it, but not just a retrieve by file name. Why would it work for me, but not him?Thanks, John

I have several CT scans of knees. Each knee is currently being saved as an IGES file. I would like to create landmark points on each knee, and use these points to create axes and planes. Finally, I'd make cuts to the knee with said planes and sketched curves/circles passing through points as seen in the attached figure. If I had 100 knees, I wouldn't want to do this process 100 times. Does anyone have tips on how I could automate/repeat this PRT?

All,I recently updated our datecode to WF3 m200 x64from WF3 M120 x32. we noticed in our ncl file that we are getting a line that says "GOTO / 0,0,0,". In our ncl file prior to our datecode change this line was not showing, it would just show the first goto position. Is there a setting somewhere so this "home" position will not show up? Or is there somthing about the m200 datecode that is causing this difference?ThanksBrad
