Im using Creo Elements Direct, when i press this part the cursor is not straight.How can i change this?  Creo Elements/Direct 20.2.1 

Can anyone help me convert an .STL file into solid geometry in Creo?

Mathcad prime 9.0This is quite a lot to look at, but I'm struggling with getting this graph as well as the following two to accept my values. I'm relatively new to Mathcad, so any tips would be more than appreciated.ive tried expanding my values to use less variables, but nothings seems to help this issue. 

When importing a sketch in the extrude process, the center of the sketch is always in any other point than the center of the sketch -- not even on the middle line of the sketch.In this example I wanted the center where the red dot is, but I could not drag it there, or change its position in any way. Is there a possibility to edit the original sketch and make the center be in the very middle of the sketch by some procedure?Or is it something that can be done here, in the extrude, to move that center wherever it is needed?

I am having trouble figuring out how to use LOOKUP with matrices. I am using Prime 10.0. "a" is an i x j matrix generated from numerous previous calculations."b" is also an i x j matrix, with each value being a constant in the attached file, but will also be non-constant in future calculations."c" is a 2 column matrix that is generated by reading a 2 column Excel table. What I am trying to generate an i x j "d" matrix that is calculated as follows:- if value in "a" is less than the value in "b" (same position in each matrix), then lookup the "a' value in the first column of "c" and return the value in the associated 2nd column in "c", or- if value in "a" is greater or equal to  the value in "b" return zero. If tried a couple of different methods, but either get an error with the vlookup function (see attached), or i get all the values in the i x j "c" matrix equal to the calculated results of the "a" matrix 0,0 position (although calculated correctly for the 0,0 pos

Hi,I've done a relation for chose the constraint set of a component in an assembly.The relation works well with the component.The component constrained is the leader of a pattern of two items.When I change the leader constraint, the other item should modify his position simmetrically w.r.t. a central plane, so I've done a direction pattern with the dimension twice the annotation distance between the component and the plane of simmetry.When I chose the leader constrain, I have to edit the pattern feature to regenerate the position of the other item: how can I update the simmetrical position of the other item without edit the feature pattern?  Thanks in advantage.Best regards, Michele Barile 

Is there any way to have a cursor select setting that only selects top level components in the structure in Creo View MCAD (aside from the top level assembly)? Any type of solution to this will do. (Creo View MCAD version 11 being used).

How is it possible to load a Creo Elements/Direct Modeling part or assembly into Creo Parametric, or to incorporate it into an assembly, if the part/assembly was created in Creo Elements/Direct Modeling with a large offset from the zero point in Creo Elements/Direct Modeling? What I have noticed is that when importing without preselecting a profile, the positioning fills the screen and the CAD file is displayed. (This is identical to the normal opening of the file)(view in My Videos)(view in My Videos)However, if you select a profile when importing, the CAD model is somewhere in 3D space and cannot actually be found and therefore cannot really be positioned. You can only find it if you search for the solid geometry somehow (see picture).(view in My Videos)Hence the question, how can you load CAD models from Creo Elements Direct Modeling properly via UNITE Technology in order to find or integrate them?We actually only a "quick and dirty" Creo Parametric 10.0.1.0 standard installati

Hi, How can I check the date code in Creo 8.0.8.0 software?In previous versions, when we open "About Creo," it would show both the version and the date code. However, in Creo 8.0.8.0, it only shows the version(see attached image). Please suggest where we can find the date code.

Hello,I have a weird freezing issue with Creo 8.0.7. I am using a notebook with a dock and when I have to disconnect and connect the notebook during the day, the Creo kind of freezes.The weird thing is that Creo works normally, but only the part, assembly or drawing window totally freezes. I cannot modify, zoom, pan, rotate - nothing.To fix the issue, I have to restart Creo. Luckily all the Creo functions works, so I have possibility to save the work. But restart the Creo with every dock reconnection is annoying.Could this be hardware (dock) issue? It is a Lenovo AF40 USB-C hybrid dock. There is no similar problems with other programs, like Autocad or Windows office programs.

HiI tried to transfer my mathcad license to my new laptop.I requested at support, and they sent me that email with the file that i had to save on the new laptop in order to transfer it. But when I'm attaching the file in mathcad it still says that the host id is invalid.How can i fix this?

During the deployment of a new computer we frequently see the user's Creo Parametric workspace cache copied from the old computer to the new computer. This typically causes the user's new installation on the new computer to crash during launch. The solution to the crash issue is to remove or rename the old cache folder. Not a huge problem. Just a nuisance that results in lost productivity. Do other companies see this issue? If so, what do you do to avoid this situation? Does anyone know why the cache can't be copied over to a new system?

Hello, In Mathcad Prime 9.0.0.0 I am able to calculate the value of the program. In Mathcad Prime 10.0.1 I get the following error message: What is happening? The two attached calculation sheets are identical. When I define each step in the program seperately in Mathcad Prime 10.0.1, it does give me the right answer.Also, when I replace all the infinity symbols by say 10000, the problem still arises. Hope you can help me! Kind regards

Please see the attached file for more information. This is related to my previous post from 11-Feb-2025. Essentially, I have several single column matrices that when augmented form a table of data. Data for one column in the large table is contained in Matrix A which has repeated values. Thus, Matrix A was filtered (my previous post) such that only unique values from Matrix A were used to populate Matrix C. The minimum values in Matrix B for a repeated Matrix A value were extracted and contained in Matrix D (again covered in my previous post).Please help to produce another matrix (Matrix "Gkeep") that contains the data in an adjacent column (i.e., another separate related matrix called Matrix G) that has the same row entry value as the row kept after filtering for unique values in A and minimum values in Matrix B. Hence, the original large table would be made by augmenting Matrices A, G & B. The summary table would be Matrices C, Gkeep & D.I plan to use this for several columns
