Hello, I am working in Creo 11.0.1.0. When making a drawing of a part, I am experiencing an annoying new feature of ordinate dimensions that I have not seen in previous versions (granted we just made a massive jump from Creo 3 to 11). Here is the scenario:In a drawing, I have an existing set of ordinate dimensions. These are placed on the righthand side of the drawing view. If I go to add an additional ordinate dimension referenced to the existing origin (.0000 dimension) the new dimension automatically cleans-up/aligns itself with the origin dimension. This seems like a handy feature on paper, but is very annoying if I want the new dimension to be placed on the lefthand side of the drawing view. This is especially true if I am placing multiple new dimensions and need to individually select them all to drag them to the other side.Is there a way to turn this feature off? In previous versions, the new ordinate dimensions would follow my cursor and not place unti
Hi,What is the reason that with N = 4000 I can see the points more pregnant, but with N = 5000 points are visible poor:
Hi, It should look something similar with:
We are starting to use Creo Schematics and I found settings for a lot of directories, but they all point to my Creo working directory. Are there any example files for templates, formats and other items that are included with an OOTB install of Creo Schematics 9.0.0.0? Any help will be appreciated in setting up this system.
When will the current ISO 21920-1 surface texture symbols be included in Creo Parametric? According to research, the symbols were adjusted in the Creo 9.0 version (ISO 1302 and ISO 25178), but these have now been withdrawn.
when a data table is created within a schematic via; generate report, and the drawing is checked in, the next time the drawing is checked out and the table is needed to revise then it is not possibble to open the table with the error "error<<<<< Unable to read table data file" despite the table being clearly visible/readable within the schematic,. If an old version schematic is opened (ie V4) then then upon opening in schematics (V10.0.0.0) it is possible to modify once. Bug alert!
Can anyone tell me the correct syntax for using trigonometric functions? When I try it, I get an error result that says "missing term or expression". All help appreciated
I have been asked if we can have something on models for 3d printing that we can use as a reference to measure the the printed part to confirm it's accuracy without having to fully dimension a drawing or measure every feature. Of course the easy answer would be CMM but that is not available. So some kind of fiducial would seem to be the next thing to look at.Does anybody do this? If so How?
Hi Folks, I have few question related to Creo schematics as below.1. How to restrict the terminal connections? is it automated or manual? 2. How to show the component label in 2Dschematics & 3Dcabling?3. Real time mass of Harness?4. Do we get the branded or industry standard catalogues like wise TE connectivity with 4 connection ports?5. How to we customize of create our own catalogue in schematics? It would be really helpful to get the answers for the above questions with specific examples if possible. TIANaresh
Hi everyone,I wanted to find a course or video playlist or pdf document about Creo Elements/Direct Drafting (Mixed UI). I'm a newbie and want to self-study Creo Elements/Direct Drafting with Mixed UI interface. Please share me if you have relative document. Thanks advanced!
Dear Colleagues,Some time ago, I downloaded a worksheet from the following location: https://community.ptc.com/t5/Mathcad/Study-1-Properties-of-working-fluids-coolants-and-structural/td-p/266560. I would like to create a 3D plot illustrating the data distribution from the generated table (function). Unfortunately, I have tried various methods but haven’t been able to figure it out. I mean somethin like below:I'm using Matchcad Prime 10.
It shows an error although it is a vector . WHY?
I would like to request the version 20.3.4.0 of Creo Elements/Direct Modeling. Please provide me with the necessary download links and installation instructions.Thank you for your prompt assistance.
it seems that the function material_param() applies only for numerical parameters. You cannot access string parameters from the material with this function. Is there a method to retrieve a string parameter value from the assigned material?
How can I find the longest vector. I have q which has 27 vectors and I want to find the longest vector which has the most values . maximum function works only for scaler not vectors . this is on the 2nd page of my sheet
I need to draw this plot for the effective stress. However, this error occur ..How can I fix it?

Three bend cornerCreo Parametric does not have a standard workable way to work with three bend cornersThere are some workarounds, but all have issues. I work with Creo 10.0.4.0.This is my search for a good three bend corner which can be welded. How it should look after bending How the flat should look This way it is easy to weld, with the 0.1mm gap small bend mistakes do not give a problem. Option 1Make quilt Create offset Sheetmetal conversion (no rips and bends on all edges) Surface rip + rip connect (0.1mm rip) Unbend Chamfer Bend back Feature tree from offset and on: Pro’sNot too many steps to createThe 3d looks perfectConsDoes not work in some cases when one or more of the bends is not 90°After unbend, bend back and then unbend again (sometimes after only one unbend) the result will be this. This is not good. Option 2Start with quilt but place a point on the line of the middle bend. This point should be at
Hello,I have separated a small for-loop from my calculation. This also works correctly. Now I would like to save ai for each i or rather access individual values. Furthermore, I would like to draw a graph. y-->ai and x-->iI would be grateful for any help 🙂Kind regardsMax
I am using Creo Parametric Release 10.0 and Datecode10.0.1.0Importing a STEP242 model (generated from CATIA V5) and the annotation information is incorrectly positioned. It looks fine if re-imported to CATIA V5, or viewed via a 3rd-party STEP viewer, so it seems only Creo has an issue knowing how to position the annotation relative to the 3D CAD
Hi,How to find all roots of this equation:
Hi,I saw somewhere in wolfram mathematica that it is possible to obtained relatively "easily" the solution of this partial differential equation. Is it possible to obtain somehow the solution also in Mathcad Prime 10?
