Hello all, I am trying to change a configuration option using C++ toolkit. But I am facing issue to know the correct syntax. Can anybody please provide me with syntax?
Is there a way to see the material definition for a step file in Creo View?In Creo 10, I am able to select the option for "Material Definition" when I create the step file. However, after exporting the step file and opening it in Creo View, I don't see any way to view the materials I had original defined in Creo 10
Hello,Using this fit formula from below, how to determine a, b, c, d, e, and x coefficients in such a way to fit the below plot Flux Density vs Magnetizing Force: I think (but I do not know how to do) to read all the data points of each line (60uH, 40uH, 26uH) and then to make the curve fitting by using genfit Mathcad function, minerr or something like that.
Hello everyone,in the attached file below, fourth column of matrix I is d1 values.I want to loop through each d1 values and get R as a matrix.could someone help me hereattached mathcad 10 file.
Hi,I have installed CREO Parametric version 11.0.0.0.0 on my Lenovo Thinkpad P53s on Windows 10 and I am experiencing a severe performance issue (I had the same problem with version 9.0.0.0 by the way) Characteristics of my Laptop :Operating System : Windows 10 Pro version 22H2Processor : Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-8665U CPU @ 1.90GHz 2.11 GHzInstalled RAM : 48.0 GB (47.7 GB usable)GPU 0 : Intel UHD Graphics 620GPU 1 : NVIDIA Quadro P520 GPU1Problem Description :When moving a model on the screen or simply opening menus in CREO application, the graphic suddenly freezes for one or two seconds, making the work really annoying. After a while, all seems
I have several part files in session. In all but ONE file, I can select multiple features in the model tree and group them. What prevents the ability to select multiple features in the model tree?Post note:Re-starting Creo, then the issue for that singular model is resolved. This phenomena re-occurs every now and then with random models.
As per the original post. Hi Two issues: 1. I would like to publish my chart in a journal paper but at the same time look nice on the work sheet. Through Chart component I can publish a pdf of a chart. Only pdf has good resolution (no matter how much you zoom the pdf, the resolution is great). But the other forms have poor resolution: jpg, jpeg, peng etc. 2. The Font size in the chart component window is fine but on the worksheet it becomes too small. If I make it bigger (in the chart component window) to look better on the worksheet, it becomes a bit too big for the Chart component. For example, a 10 point font on chart component looks much smaller on the worksheet chart. 3, Also, I would like to print multiple plots on one 8x10 page through the Chart Component. Is there a possibility to add multiple charts, give the page size etc in the Chart Component Window? I mean, in Matlab, we can use multiple charts in one shot. How do I do th
Are there available Control tools in MathCAD Prime 1.0, Same as MathCAD 15 has (Insert/ control/....)Thanks in advance for your help!
Is there any way to propagate Creo Schematic drawing parameter to Windchill? Please suggest
I am using Creo Parametric Release 6.0 and Datecode6.0.4.0Arial WGL is offsetting the limit tolerance. Is there anyway to align the upper + and lower - tolerance? Also the mu symbol in the micrometer is not displaying when convert to PDF. Please help.
When attempting to install Creo 9.0 with a student license, all is working well until the 'Install' button is hit. When attempting to use the install but, it simply closes the setup launcher and does nothing. It gives me no errors or anything else, just simply refuses to work, and closes the launcher.I've tried putting the files in a different directory, didnt work.I've also tried disabling all firewalls, didnt work.Post closure of the launcher a PTC folder is created in the desired location, but it not populated with anything.Any help is greatly appreciated.
Hi..Is there any setting in Creo Simulate in order to fully utilized the specification of my new workstation?Currently my new workstation is running a stress simulation and the time elapsed is almost equally same with my laptop . Below is the spec of my laptop and workstation:Laptop: Processor: 12th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-12800H 2.40 GHzGraphics Card: Nvidia RTX A2000Memory: 32GB New Workstation: Processor: AMD Ryzen Threadripper PRO 5995WX 64-Cores 2.70 GHzGraphics Card: Nvidia RTX A5000Memory: 256GB
Hello,Using this fit formula from below, how to determine a, b and c coefficients in such a way to fit the below plot Core Loss vs Flux density: or So, I think (but I do not know how to do) to read all the data points of each line (300kHz, 200kHz, etc) and then to make the curve fitting by using genfit Mathcad function, minerr or something like that.
I'm modeling an object that I want to add embossed/debossed text onto, in a manner similar to what's illustrated here. I want to be able to make the text easily editable, because it will serve as a label providing identifying information on the different permutations of this object. If I try to go back and edit the text in the original sketch, it breaks the offset command later in the feature tree, because the specific curves that were projected in order to define the sketched region to offset no longer exist. In the offset command, is there a way to tell Creo to project whatever closed curves exist in the original sketch, such that when the sketch is edited to include new text, the offset feature will be updated to reflect the new regions present in the sketch it's projecting from? Apologies if any of this is weirdly phrased or if this is an obvious question, I'm a beginner in Creo. Using Ver. 10.0.3.0
A change in functionality is being considered for a future release by Product Management, but no timeline can be committed to at this time. Is this the new "Product working to specification"? I have received this on the last 3 tickets I opened. Translated: Yes, we recognize this is a bug but no we are not going to do anything about it. Anyone else getting this same message back from PTC Support?
i created a layer with 2 model annotation and one datum plane in creo model if i hide that layer na the datum plane is hided but the model annotation not hided its still visible. Is there any other way to hide selected model based annotation in modeling UI? Thanks in advance Ram - Designer
So I have imported a part from Solidworks to Creo and I no longer have access to the Solidworks account. How do I check the dimensions of the part in Creo, even though it was originally saved as a Solidworks part? Thanks!
Is there any way to move text around the sheet without it snapping to grid? I need to move some text in between two grids to put over an image. The lines of the image do not line up with the grid perfectly.
This issue continues the same problem I presented yesterday. This calculation was also easy to do in Mathcad 15, but I am having trouble getting it to work in Prime 10.I have marked the part of the calculation sheet that is not working in yellow. You can see that I calculated the normal to be cylinder using symbolic calculation and tried to use it afterward to calculate the magnitude of the normal vector to be used down the sheet to calculate the total current. However, now Prime 10 does not recognize the results of the symbolic calculation to obtain the magnitude of the normal vector. See the attached file. Thank you in advance, Rogelio
Hi - I have quite a number of mathCAD workbooks in a folder. To access them easily I set up an "Index" mathCAD workbook and typed out a list of them and had a hyperlink to each file so that I can open the index file and just click on the link to take me to the file. This was ok to begin with but if I move the folder then the links all need to be updated and there are quite a few of them now. I remember in the old version of MathCAD there was a way to make an electronic book and I think it worked if the folder with the electronic book was moved. Is there a way to make an e-book now or what is the best practice for this in MathCAD now. I' feel that this must be something that MathCAD users must still be doing but I can't figure out how. Any advice would be very much appreciated.
This is not a solution I was expecting am I doing something wrong ? I am using Mp9 Ivan
CREO 8.0.5.0. Parametic / Manufacturing / Material Removal SimulationWhen closing material removal simulation in manufacturing, CREO is crashing. In the past, I have chalked it up to be a large amount of sequences(Large programming file). But today, it has crashed more than a handful of times. And the program has only 7 sequences so it is on the smaller side. I tried to re-create the crash and not been able to do it. I have made a point to close the same way every time inside of the material removal simulation. Does anyone know what I am doing wrong? And how to fix it.
is there a recommended way to package the install of creo via intune? and is there an easier way to set the config settings? the config for schools.bat is all well and good for one PC but i need to send this to up to 30 computers
as far as I know it's a problem that exist at least since PRO-E WILDFIRE 3.still present in CREO 9. every time that I edit a view on the drawing, to rotate that view (i.e. a 3D view of the assembly or part), the planes show-up and I have to manually remove the visibility of these planes.it's happening every single time.if I toggle the visibility off then close the editing view (Drawing View) then I'll redo it again, the problem came back again; rotating the view toggle the visibility of the planes back again and I have to remove manually.the problem is limited to when you use the "View Orientation > Angles" part to orientate the view.if you rotate the view with the other orientation method the problem will not appear. before asking there I tried to read articles, search on-line etc. and I can't understand if it's the cad not properly set-up or it's something that has been designed that way.maybe it's me that wasn't able to find the right search keywords?I tried also search
Hello to all,After converting a Mathcad 15 file to Prime 10, I encountered an issue with calculating the gradient of a vector function. While it works seamlessly in Mathcad 15, the same function does not yield the expected results in Mathcad Prime 10. Is there anyone familiar with this issue who can tell me what needs to be adjusted or modified in Mathcad Prime to make it work?I am attaching a file with the function and the gradient, as I converted it from Mathcad 15 to Prime 10. I really appreciate any help you can provide. Rogelio
