Dear all,I'm on Creo 8.0.10.0 connected to WNC 12.0.2.10 and I'm configuring some custom AFX  profiles/connectors and equipments.With the first try with profiles I get the expected result, selecting the custom profile it will  take the autonumbering from windchill and also all parameter from start_mdl.cfg and relations from param_relations.txt.Then I tried to configure an equipment and i'm not able to have at the same time the autonumbering and the parameter populated correctly.In the customization\parts\equipment i've filtered out the equipments I dont want to see and then added to the correct subfolder the sel_list.txt to change the endcap_square from part_copy to part, in this way I'm having all the attribute/relations copied to the selected equipment but i'm not able to get the autonumbering and the part will remain with original name.To the other side if I keep the sel_list as it is, I receive the correct renumbering from Windchill but the equipment is not cont

Hi ,When Converting Mathcad-15 ".XMCD" file to Mathcad Prime 9.0.0.0, text box controls using VBA are not properly converted in the Mathcad Prime file, kindly provide the solution for covert the Mathcad-15 textbox controlled by VBA script to MATHCAD prime.   Thank you.

Is there a way to have the license file inform you which PTC Flexnet license server version is required for the license file. We seen to always get caught installing an updated license file that is not supported by the license server. Hi all,I have a MathCAD Prime worksheet to calculate a 2-d matrix called HL which itself is indexed with j. I need to calculate this matrix for j:=2..207 and I want each of these matrices to be saved to a comma separated .text file with a different name. I have figured out how, for a given value of j, I can save the file that I want, but I could not figure out how to do all this in a loop. I need a loop, or another way of doing this, so that I can save all those 206 files automatically. Many thanks for your help!Roman

Hi guys, I am attempting to automate finding the correct row with 3 inputs as shown attached in a spreadsheet using Mathcad prime 10. I have also attached the data in a Mathcad 10 prime file. There are some challenges with this, First, each column has multiple of the same values, so the normal linterp function cannot be used. I suppose a better option would be a combination of lookup and linterp. Any suggestions on how to best solve this? Cheers.

hii I have a problem during the solidification of a surface that penetrates inside a solid body. I attach the photo of the problem. I tried to fill the surface but having projected the curve onto the cylinder I can't select the surface to fill properly, could that be the problem?

As a beginner I looked athttps://community.ptc.com/t5/Mathcad/Mathcad-Prime-10-Text-Box-Advanced-Controls/m-p/952250#M212068 ...and tried to modified it to a simple comparison if a value "a" is less or bigger than 1. For example an unit check of stress in some member is a=0.86. If a < 1 then member pass, if a => 1 then member fails. But a message "a" is undefined at row xxx appeared and I could not find a reason. I am sure that it is easy for experienced people in JScript. Thanks. D.

We are importing PCB's using Altium CoDesigner which writes XML files to the startup directory.These XML files can be deleted once the PCB has been fully imported.Is there any way that these files could be written to its own folder like the trail files. 

I am working in WF3.I have a part in an assy. The part is a hose connecting 2 points in the assy, on fixed and one on a another part that can move within certain limits. I want to make sure that the hose will adapt its bending curve to achieve this but you have to remember that the hose must have a fixed length and only the bend angle and the radius an vary.If I could lock the bend arc length to a set value it would be easy.Fixing the hose to its known start and end points, locking the value the length of the straight (not bendable) ends I only need to lock the arc length.I can measure the arc length but have not been able to find a way to lock this value.Help!

Creo+ 11.0.0.0-008 Changing the start in directory of the shortcut for Creo+ is not working. I am modifying the start in directory of the shortcut created on the desktop when installed. The desired path is visible in the shortcut properties but Creo+ is not starting in this directory when launched from the shortcut.    

I am using Mathcad Prime Release 10.0 and Datecode10.0.0.0I created a worksheet with symbolic calculations (Integration) and units. This worksheet worked flawless in Mathcad Prime 9.0. In Mathcad prime 10 after switching on the option units/constants in symbolic all calculation results disappeared.The result of the calculation is the necessary acceleration to satisfy the boundary condition that the movement must stop at a certain distance / stroke at a given time.

Hi,How to speed up calculation/plotting/update time for vL1(t)?Try changing for example value of R1 from 1 to 2, and compare the time needed for the two graphs to update each other.vL1(t) plot will take longer to update than iC1(t) and vC1(t) plot. There are some ways to reduce calculation/plotting time for vL1(t)? Or what is the reason of why vL1(t) take much longer time to calculate/plot/update than iC1(t) and vC1(t) calculate/plot/update plot time?

simple question: Does anyone know why you can add materials to assemblies? You used to not be able to do this, but in Creo 5 you can. You still can't assign any material to the assembly, so what's the point of being able to add materials to it? They don't seem to be used for anything? Does anyone have a use case for this? why was this functionality added?

In Creo 10.0, items in the "Remove surfaces" field in the shell feature dialogue box cannot be replaced later using the "Edit References" command; they must be removed and reselected from within the Shell feature tool.  The "Edit References" option is greyed out when the shell feature is selected. This is unusual behavior among Creo features, in which lost surfaces can be replaced by newer surfaces by using "Edit References" without entering the feature tool after the feature has been created.  This is useful when you prefer not to redefine and reselect manually, e.g. drafted wall become straight.  I don't recall that this was the case in earlier versions.   Is it a bug?

Out of nowhere I am having an issue when trying to modify dimensions in the Sketcher.  Typically, I was able to modify dimensions by double clicking and then making the change and moving to the next, but now I am unable to do that.  When I double click the dimension will briefly highlight (like normal) then quickly closes before I can modify it.  I have been forced to always use the Modify Dimensions wheel which I used to use occasionally when locking the scale for making changes to the sketch.  Anyone experiencing this?  IS there a fix?  Any help would be greatly apprciated.Steve

Hi all, I just have a question about showing dimensions with Creo Parametric 7.0.11.0 . I know some work-arounds, but I am just curious if this is possible... When I make a driven dimension in a part file, I can show that dimension at the higher level in the assembly model. I can't, however, show that dimension in the drawing? It does work with other annotations like datums or notes, but not driven dimensions. I can get it to work if I put all of the driven dimensions in the part into an Annotation feature and then show that, but that seems like a weird workaround? Is this the intended functionality and I'm just trying to do things a weird way? Attached is some screenshots of a test assembly. Also the reason I am doing it this way is that I have an inseparable assembly with helicoils, pins, etc... and my company is still stuck with Creo 7. Thanks in advance for any help!
