Hi, I have a very simple question. How do I see the status of licenses on my network at work? I tried ptcstatus.bat and don't really see what I am looking for. I would like to see all the creo parametric licenses in particular and if used or borrowed. Thanks, WayneF
I am having no luck in applying servomotors to mechanisms. I have done it in the past but either I Am missing some step or creo is not functioning. Using manufacturer supplied assemblies was my first thought for source of failures. so I manually redefined the piston to the cylinder. no luck. Then I made a super rudimentary piston/cylinder assy. nope. I can drag the piston and the limits work as intended in the model. However, in mechanism, I can only get a partial move then it fails with errors. error msg with 2 servos: All position constraints can't be simultaneously satisfied. The following position constraints can't be satisfied:1) Servo motor constraint for servo motor Motor 1 in model 62205K194_NO_THREADS_HYDRAULIC_ can't be satisfied. 2) Servo motor constraint for servo motor Motor 2 in model 62205K194_NO_THREADS_HYDRAULIC_ can't be satisfied. or with a single servo:All position constraints can't be simultaneously satisfied.
Hi all. Version 9.0.4.0 Alot of our assemblies use thread-rolling or thread-cutting screws into sheetmetal so by design the hole size is smaller than the OD of the screw. I do understand why this is rendering this way but I was wondering if anyone had a good workaround? I've had people use extrude cuts in the assembly to enlarge the holes but those do add a step to their work and also seem to slow down the processing some. Anyone know a better way? Maybe a way to have a screw drawn and measurable to it's correct OD but render slightly smaller? Thanks in advance!Brad
Hi all, I have been searching the forum, and could not find the same issue, similar, but not same. This is a straight forward part that I am trying to get flat, any ideas how to do it? I used a blend to make it, if there is a different way to make it please point me in that direction? I did try flatten quilt, but the measurements are off for sure. any help would be greatly apprecaited! thanks
I'm installing Creo 10 when I put in the license it accepts it, when I open Creo it gives a license error
While using Creo 9 Mechanism Dynamics Option (MDO) for analyzing design system, user is getting the error "Mechanism Dynamics is required for this analysis type". After re-installation it worked. But when Creo is closed and re-launched, again the dynamic function is lost.Because of this issue, user cannot close Creo session. If closed, this is lost.
We have both Design Essentials licenses and Design Advanced licenses. The one difference is that Design Essentials does not have the optional module Assembly (#6) in the list of modules. We can create assemblies with the Design Essentials license, so there has to be something more in the module besides just assembly creation. Does anyone have better definition of what is provided by using the Design Advanced licenses with the Assembly module over the Design Essentials license?
Dear forum,Does anyone know what the error is and why it doesn't give the result I expect?Regards,CarlosRomero
Continuing the topic Plane, sphere & cone When I was a student, we solved the following problem in a class on descriptive geometry (now it’s engineering graphics). There are two triangles in three-dimensional space. Triangles intersect. You need to draw triangles in stereometry and in three projections. The triangles are colored - one red and the other blue. It is also necessary to draw a segment of their intersection. Can this be done in Mathcad? Better than 15th. I hope someone will enjoy solving this problem. And remember your student youth. PS I did all this without a computer, of course. I first drew on whatman paper with a pencil, and then outlined everything with drawing ink. Then I removed the pencil lines with stale bread. There is a brilliant story about this. Witches' Loaves by O. Henry Miss Martha Meacham kept the little bakery on the corner (the one where you go up three steps, and the bell tinkles when you open the door). Miss Martha was forty, h
Hello everyone, first of all. I want the spring in the assembly part I'm using to be movable. I've tried a lot of videos on this topic, but I couldn't assemble the springs I made the way I wanted. Can you help me with this?
Can the pdesolve function (Prime 9) work with units? See lease two sheets in attach
I want to multiple these two matrix without summing the answer. Like the first value of q times the first value of A and the result should be matrix not a final result
Does anyone know how/if possible to save a part file or assembly to an older version of creo? Example: a part or assembly made in Creo 7.0 save a version that can be opened back in Creo 6.0
Hello, Does anyone used Creo on MS Azure ? If yes, can you please describe your rendering experience and the hardware specs you are using ? Thank you.
I want to merge to metrics in only one metric, m should contain the values of both q and As
This is also puzzle of youtube. And not question. Anywaw, Mathcad can solve.
To have config option to enable draw scale to dynamically update according to the scale defined in the latest view placed in the Drawing. This should happen irrespective of any representations used in the view. Business justification: Whenever a view is placed under the config option default_draw_scale with value -1, the view will get placed with scale defined by creo based on sheet size the overall dimension of the 3D model. the Default value of the draw scale in the Title block do not get changed automatically while the scale of the view will be different than draw scale. This leads to confusion when sent to vendors.
Hello friends, In Creo Elements Direct Modeling 19.0, how can I measure distance between the axes of two holes?Every time when I want to measure the distance between axes of two holes, I only can get the minimum distance between two holes.
I am unable to get odesolve working in my worksheet could somebody help?
Hello. I am wondering that if it is possible to manage the assembly references in part mode. For example, i would like to open a part in assembly mode, then i will replace the reference for that part in part mode.
Hi my Mathcad 9.0 shown "you have reached the maximum number of license available from your product type.how to fix it? i used to free 30 days trial.
I have a fairly simple drawing with a repeat region showing mass properties (see attached screen dump)I have one column for the total weight (part weight x rpt qty).To avoid adding assembly weights to the parts weights, I have set the assembly weight to zero and the column only list the parts' weights. The total wight of the main assembly is calculated separately and listed in the drawing head asTotalvikt = 154,02 kg.When I add the weights in the column they add up to the same as Totalweight which is what I would expect. However, when the repeat region summation does the same adding up it gives the result = 93,05 kg.I have tried various assemblies but there is always a difference between Totalvikt and the summation result.I have not been able to find any logic between the two different results. Can somebody tell me what is wrong?I am using Wildfire 3.4HELP!!
Hello, everybody:I am trying to generate a PVZ file using simplified reps to only show a part of a bigger assembly. In the Annotate tab of CREO I have the correct components on display but when I export the file to CREO view I get extra components that should be hidden. Any idea of why this happens and how I could fix this? I have attached photos of the CAD view and the PVZ output below. Thanks in advanced for the help 🙂
New to Mathcad, running into an error I can't resolve. I have defined all of my matrices and variables up top, but in the solver block there are unrecognized variables. Error is: "This variable is undefined. Check that the label is set correctly." Anyone have an idea what might be going on? See screenshot below. Using Mathcad Prime 9.0.0.0
Hi alls,I'll have to go and work at my client office soon.I must use my notebook (Win 7 x64) with Wildfire 2 and Intralink 3.4.Now, I'm working with Creo 2/3, what a big change...So, I'm wondering if those a little bit old softwares will work on my Win10 x64 computer or must I install an older OS (win7, x32/64... ?)Thanks for any advice,Dominique
