Hello,Recently, I wanted to use otk replace my program, but I have some trouble. In the user's guide I know wfcCollection::GetSurfCollection, but I don't know how to use it.Looking forward to your answer.
How to resolve this error
Does anyone have an old PDF copy of the Relational Editor - Help Topic Collection from the Pro/E and/or Wildfire days? I am able to find old copies of these for things like "Pro/Program", Pro/NC, or "Detail Drawings" but curious if anyone has one on the relational editor they can share?
I am creating a drawing for a part in Creo Parametric 7.0.2.0 and have a 2D family table similar to that below, where A, B, and C are parameters: Part NumberABC10.5000.1750.06020.2500.2000.060 I the part in question has varying tolerances for each dimension and part number, so I have to define them by hand. The column that I want to show is the limits value for the given dimension (with dual dimensions), however I want to hide or delete the column showing the nominal value. Real data: So essentially hide A, A_MAX_IN, A_MIN_IN, but show A_TOL.How can I go about this for a 2D family table?
Hi,I want to change the colour of my parts. We do sheet metal, so all of my parts (except a few) are sheet metal. For whatever reason, I no longer have the ability to change the overall colour of a part. (Except for the ‘pick each & every surface’ method currently) I used to be able to open the render tab, and select a colour, then click the [upper most] part [main feature] in the model tree, and it would change the whole part color & each subsequent feature added to eh part.. it no longer does that. It’s stuck on whatever the default color was. New sheet metal parts won't change. But older "parts" (not sheet metal) will change per the older method.. In the 'edit model appearance' tab, it shows the proper colour, as well as the older / original colour. yet it only shows the part in the older "default" colour, despite this new colour being applied.. Now, this also seem to apply to assemblies. The assembly comes in as one solid colour.&
Windchill Version: 12.0.2.7Creo Parametric Version: 9.0.2.0 I am trying to map a Creo Attribute to Windchill's CAD Document Uses Link. I've followed these steps:Create Reusable Attribute I've added the attribute to the CAD Document Uses Link In Creo I created an assembly with a part. I added the TEILENUMMER attribute to the part and made sure to designate the variable to Windchill. I checked in the Assembly and the Part. After these steps I exptected to see the the defined value (0000010028) in the Structure tab on the assembly on the TEILENUMMER attribute. However, it is empty. What did I do wrong / missed?
Doing some testing on Creo 8.0.0.0. Successfully added the crosshatch definition to a material file so that works as I expect. Looking for a way to always set 'use material hatch' option when I edit the hatch in the part cross section. This article seems to indicate after Creo 7 there is a new way but I'm not finding it. https://www.ptc.com/en/support/article/CS148466
Dear Mathcad TEAM,I recently wanted to install the license server. However, the license server keeps telling me, that there are no issues to server in my license file. The corresponding support Article - CS109302 is not helpful. I would like to use the rpt.qty value from a parent in the nested region relations. Here's what I wish I could do.nested_qty = rpt_qty:ID_of_parent_region Ultimately I need to to be a multiplier.
Hi all, is it possible to default a round/chamfer to always go into a single set without needing to hold control? i've tried looking around but no luck so far.not super critical for my workflow but i would prefer to manually select if i want to make a new set.
I feel very negative about PTC and their hyper-convoluted licensing scheme. I have an extremely simple task. Transfer an existing license to a new computer. Please don't send me that 43 page PDF describing every possible licensing scenario for every single product made by PTC. That just doesn't help. At this time I've been directed to this link - which makes absolutely no sense to me https://www.ptc.com/en/support/article/CS20911?_gl=1*lmu7tu*_ga*MTkwNDQxNTgyOC4xNzAzMDM0MDA4*_ga_1QBT6P6HR1*MTcwMzM1MTg3NS4yLjEuMTcwMzM1MTkzMy4yLjAuMA.. In the very first step I'm to this weird website where I need to enter the Sales Order Number (SON), Host ID / Traid, Asset Tag, Service Contract Number (SCN), Subscription Number, and/or Product Group. However, I've been entering my information into these fields and - really - nothing happens. And, I don't see what this has to do with transferring a license. https://support.ptc.c
I'm hoping I'm missing a simple way of doing this...(MathCAD Prime 7.0.0.0) Thanks
I am using Creo Parametric Release 7.0 and Datecode7.0.2.0What is the best way to set up a diamond screw for mechansim design? The principle is a helix groove in the shaft and a "knife" or tap in a follower to drive the follower over the distance of the groove. I tried using cam follower over a curve in the helix, but it will only take a partial of the length of the screw.Anyone tried something similar or have any ideas?
I am using Mathcad Release 15.0 and DatecodeunknownTests for Mathcad: KO=> Mathcad v15 does not work, the server is reacheable (log trace) but the license is not present in the license file. It works with Prime versions.
Using Creo 8.0.5.0. So I have an assembly that contains 2 copies of a part. When I pull in dimension annotations to add to view states, since they are being pulled in from the part file, both copies of the part display the same annotations in exactly the same spot relative to the part. My question is can I "unlink" or separate these annotations in the assembly to be able to locate them in different places and view states relative to the part they define to clean up my view states better?
Hello, For a project, I would like to store the result of the following expression : in another value (called prev for this example). But, I would like to update it manually, even if my parameters change. That way, I would be able to compare 2 curves with different parameters on the same graph in the same sheet. Can someone help me ? Grégory
Hello! Currently I have a model that contains a weighted link that connects 5 different fasteners holes to a dependent node. The dependent node has a 10 kip load applied to it. My goal is to find the force applied to each individual fastener position in the WCS. When I place a force measure on these independent surfaces I get the following warning: "Resultant measure XX may not be evaluated correctly because there are multi-point constraints (MPCs) near the resultant measure. MPCs may occur in models with mixed or incompatible meshes, links, fasteners or user coordinate system (UCS)" Is there a different method to gather the force exerted on the independent surfaces? This process is very simple in other FEA programs so it seems strange that it would be more complex than a standard measure. Thank you in advance. CREO Version: 7.0.9.0
I am using Creo Schematics Release 7.0 and Datecode7.0.0.0I have converted the Creo Schematics Lite to Creo Schematics Full version. This works well until I want to link an old design to the catalog.By the way the items that are mentioned are not on the design.I worked in the past with the central Library and a Template.
Hello,I have a problem with the firewall of my Windows server 2022 blocking the FLEXnet Admin License Server program, when I go to Private network settings and set it to turn off the machines access normally, I have already released the path C:\Program Files\PTC\FLEXnet Admin License Server\lmadmin.exe but it still gives an error that there is no license something else needs to be done?
I'm using the parameter "&harn.run.len" to bring the length of my wires into my wiring table. The network length used on my model is also displayed (284.004). I know it is the network because I had one of the parameters entered incorrectly and in the "Wire Name" column it said "Network".How can I exclude the network? Finally how can I get the pin name to appear? I'm using "&harn.run.cond.from.pin.name", "&harn.run.cond.to.pin.name"All in Creo Parametric 8.0.9.0.
Hi, Creo 9, Windchill 12.1.2 I have a need to create (lots of) simplified files (to protect IP) in order to send them out. There doesn't seem to be a good solution which fulfills everybodies' needs but here's what I would love to achieve. Save as -> Shrinkwrap doesn't have an option to choose a "subset" like the feature-creating version of the tool does. This sucks because once I create a shrinkwrap file I don't seem to be able to edit it in any way(add/remove parts and it won't update if a part is updated). So 1) Am I missing something or saved shrinkwraps can't be updated because they lack the parent-child relationship to the original assembly? Based on the above - in order to have control over what's included in the shrinkwrap I create a feature shrinkwrap inside the assembly. Then I create a save-as shrinkwrap of the feature-based shrinkwrap. This kind of sucks cause the feature stays in the assembly...and the part-type shrinkwrap doesn't update. Bu
When I increase the number of Iteration on page 5, ex. 250 to 2500 the program crashes, instead of giving an error message and stopping.
Is temperature units computable with pressure within equation in Prime?
I am wondering if anyone knows a way to make a Bode plot that shows a y-axis on the left for db (amplitude) and a scale on the right for phase. The Plot function does not support it, but I thought perhaps the "chart" function does since it does allow a second y axis scale on the right. But as I understand it, this is not quite the case. In the "chart" function it seems that the scale on the right is only a replica of the one on the left. This function was very nicely supported in Mathcad 15. Is there a way to do it in Prime 9? Much appreciation for any thoughts/help!
I have a valid license but I never got an email with a "product code", so I can't even request support.I have two emails, neither has a "customer number".My end goal is to view this page https://www.ptc.com/en/support/article/cs306408 . I just purchased a license.
