Tried cloud host, local file, usb transfer, you click the pvz, open with creo view, and it just loads the default screen showing only the default preloaded gearbox part and does nothing.
Hi guys, when I open the help center in modelling Express, the program opens in automatic on "Internet Explorer" like the picture below. This browser is not my main preference. There is a possible to change it.Thanks in advanced
I'm using creo7 parametric and I'm trying to make the material in the title block be a drawing flag symbol using &sym(FLAG-MUTI-LEVEL). Normally when I type this in a text box, it will give me the symbol dialog to select the options I want such as what number I want in the flag and the size of the flag. When I put &sym(FLAG-MUTI-LEVEL) in the &MATERIAL parameter, it just shows it as text instead of the flag. I don't want to get rid of the &MATERIAL parameter, I want to have it equal to &sym(FLAG-MUTI-LEVEL). Thank you!
How can I populate table using dimensions from a pattern table? All Csys are in a pattern table. I am using Creo 7.0.5.0 __PRESENT __PRESENT __PRESENT
Our company is planning to upgrade out CAD software to CREO 9.0. However, the CAD support matrix for Ansys 2021 R2 does not go beyond CREO 7.0. Will these versions cooperate properly? (Upgrading Ansys is a long and difficult process because of internal requirements, avoiding at this time is beneficial if possible)
Hi everyone, I hope you are fine.I need to change the color of the result word, if it was safe to be green and red in case of unsafe.
I need to plot the intersection and return it as a value.I have lines to show minimum and ideal operating temperatures but I would like to find the cut-off temps for each of the proposed AC-DCs. I have a graph that has the output derating so the line isn't a simple ab2+c so I have to use a function. I would like to know the maximum operating temperature of the multiple power supplies. Based on a Wdc1(Tempamb). I tried using solve but this doesn't appear to work on functions. as the derating is not constant across the full operation range. see the example of the function I am using below. What is the best operation to achieve this? I have attached the worksheet for referenceI'm using MathCAD Prime 8
Hello,I use "set representative" function to a module variant in a "configurate module";And Creo created a "Representative Module Variant" representation in the "configurate module" file; But my configurate product is nothing changed, Is there any function can let onfigurate product use the "Representative Module Variant" representation automatically ?Thank you!
Hello, I requested a license several times via the 'CREO for Students' platform, because I am a UTT student, but I never received it. I followed the same process last year and everything worked really well, but since my license expired I haven't been able to get a new one.Can you help me ? Thank you.
Hello, I would like to ask you a question about using the creatolkit dialog box.You are using the dialog box by creating a dialog with ProUIDialogCreate and enabling it with ProUIDialogActivate. The feature I created was considered to open the dialog box periodically, so I don't want to use ProUIDialogDestroy and I want to close the dialog only with ProUIDialogExit. However, there is a problem that the dialog box does not close when using ProUIDalogExit. The code says PRO_TK_NO_ERROR is returned and error-free. Code progression is also running correctly out of ProUIDialogActivate, but the dialog does not close on the screen. If you know anything about this situation, I would appreciate your help.Below is a partial reference code attached.Thank you. // Functions to run when the Cancel button is pressed void OnCancelButtonClicked(char* dialog, char* component, ProAppData data) { ProError status = PRO_TK_NO_ERROR; if (list_nameset != NULL) ProArrayFree((ProArray*)&li

Hi,I am new to Mathcad and face some problems. I have attached a file in which I am trying to plot the displacement using the Piecewise Linear Interpolation method of structural dynamics. I have defined all variables and put them in the loop, but when I try to plot displacement (u) versus time (t1), I get an error "this value must be a vector".I would really appreciate it if you could help me resolve this issue.
Hi everyone. So I'm new to Mathcad and I wanted to create circle from form (x-1)^2+(y-3)^2=10, but everything that I can find about plots is way too advanced for me. Any simple way to do circle from form like this above?
Hi all, I'm currently trying to create a mapkey for drawings that does a number of things, but I'm having trouble with just one part.I'm making a mapkey that, when activated, will first ask the user to select a view on the drawing, and when you resume, it will set that model to be used in the tree, and then edit the definition, go to the scale settings and set the scale to default for view (I have to do this particular set of actions for a lot of company drawings as many have been set up to use custom scales which is no longer desirable). The last part of the mapkey is to go to the bottom left corner of the screen, where it says "SCALE," and open the prompt and allow the user to type a scale in. This is the part where it goes wrong- I can't seem to get it to open the prompt right away so that all I have to do is just type a scale in, hit the green check, and then the mapkey is finished. I've tried different prompting options but none of them give the optimal effect, as I'd lik
Hi, Could someone explain why I can't vectorize method 2 in the attached work sheet? It returns error message "this value must be a vector". The output of both functions being multiplied seem to be vectors, so I don't understand why I can't use the vectorize function to do an element per element multiplication. Thank you,
When adding a new sheet to a schematic I am prompted to select a template from the Design Templates section of the Catalog Explorer. I am currently trying to see if there is a way to load my .RSDT template that I use when I initially create a schematic into this part of the catalog, since having to edit my main design template and the template for additional sheets is cumbersome. As of right now it seems like you have to manually create and edit new sheet templates in the Creo Schematics catalog, similar to editing artifact's, and there is no option to import or load a template from an existing .RSDT file. I have looked through my central catalog in file explorer and it does not look like there is a file or folder designated for design templates. Prompt to select a template when adding a new sheet to an existing schematic: Prompt to select a template when creating a new schematic: Is there a way to load new templates into the design template section of the catalog? Or do
I am using Creo 9.0 and have been using the Welding application to put solid fillet weld features into an assembly to show where welds are located. There are two assemblies and their associated drawings I have that are very similar. In one of the assemblies, the weld features are defined as solid and there is only one simplified representation (Master Rep). These weld features do not show up in the repeat region BOM on the drawing, which is perfect. On the other assembly, there is also only one representation (Master Rep), and the solid weld features DO show up on the repeat region BOM, which is not what I would like. Neither of the repeat regions have filters applied, and I am trying to figure out what the difference is so I can remove the weld features from the BOM table without having to use a filter every time. Is there a setting or option I am missing? How can I turn off the weld features in a BOM?
Hi, Is possible to disable or remove the dashed line that appears during assembly parts in creo parametric under edit definition ?I want to keep the surface selection view but without the dashed line that help to position a single part for example.I'm using Creo Parametric 8.0(see the attached below) thank's in advanceFabio
I am using Creo Parametric Release 5.0 and Datecode5.0.4.0After importing a sketch (DXF file) into a drawing, Creo performance (zoom, pan) drops drastically.
how can i transfer my mathcad license from one laptop to another
If I have a multi-bodied part I need to first create several part files then individually export each as an STL to save parts for printing. It would be nice if I could easily export without creating several extra parts that I don't otherwise need. It would also be good to do this from an assembly.
I am using Creo 9.0.5.0. When I replace models in a drawing, the drawing models menu manager is "hiding" behind the drawing instead of remaining on top of the drawing so I have to tab to it in order to be able to click on "Done/Return". Anyone else experiencing this? I moved it to the right, but after closing and reopening, it back to the same spot. vs Thanks, Dale
I'm brand new to Creo 8.0 after spending the last 15 years using Inventor. I typically use the pan feature much more frequently than orbit and I would like to swap the functionality so that clicking the MMB allows me to pan, and holding shift while clicking the MMB allows me to orbit. I did see someone had asked this question back in 2017 and there was no solution given, but I am wondering if anything has developed since then. Thanks!
