Hello, Would anyone know how to show the part number in the creo view,   My creo view only show filename and vision number (I open the view from windchill web page). Most time I need the item number to check the ERP information, But now, I need back to Windchill web page check item number first. Is there any option for me can select show the inforamtion?    

Hello everyone,I am currently working on a project using PTC Creo, and I've encountered a scenario where I need to measure the minimum distance between two holes in a part. I'm not entirely sure what steps to follow to accurately measure this distance within the software.I've looked into the 'Analysis' tab and found the 'Measure' option, but I'm not sure if I'm using it correctly. Could anyone guide me through the correct procedure to measure the minimum distance between two holes, either in Part or Assembly mode?I appreciate any tips or step-by-step instructions you could provide.Thanks in advance! 

Hello,I'm new to the integrated mold analysis in Creo.However, the tool with it's fiber orientation calculation possibilities appears to be promising for my topics. For the part design and the regarding analysis, I'd be very happy to use the calculated fiber orientation in Creo Simulate calculations. Is there a possibility to transfer the fiber orientation (and material properties) to Creo Simulate? Best regards, Daniel

is there any easy way to import .stp assembly file into part as single file ? pls assist. I tried converting assembly as Parasolid model and imported into the part. but it was unsuccessful.    

Hello everybody, what is the difference of copy geom and mergein Creo Parametric? Both are techniques to share data. With the copy geom I can get data from one model to another model. For example the body surface, Then I can solidify this surface and I have the same result when using merge.  Thanks for your help.       

Hi I have a query on the backward compatibility of Mathcad Prime 9.Can I directly open in Mathcad Prime 9 the files created using Mathcad Prime 8 or Prime 7 ? I understand that for file created using Mathcad Prime prior to 7 and Mathcad 15, we would need a convertor.  Warm RegardsVijay 

Hi  - I am exploring the possibility of having the calculation logic in Mathcad file, and then having the .NET web app take the user inputs and then sends the input values to a Mathcad file running on the server, and then get back the calculation outputs from Mathcad - which will be displayed on the web app.  - Does the Mathcad API support the above scenario? I tried to check this link - Getting Started with the PTC Mathcad API | PTC | Mathcad - But it is not opening for me in either Chrome or Edge.  - When Mathcad is called, will the Mathcad run in the background - or for ex; in case of a .NET desktop app which is using Mathcad installed on that desktop,  can the user see the Mathcad window - when it is being called from the .NET code ?  RegardsVijay

Hello I am trying to use Mathcad Prime 7.0.0 to solve equations, but no matter the equation, i have tried many, it always gives me Mupad_Unresponsive. Below is a simple example of the problem i have been encountering. P.S. I have tried uninstalling license, both in appdata and user, reinstalling mathcad, still doesn't work.    

Where did I go wrong? Watt should be kg⋅m^2/s^3 Thus Watt/m^2 should be kg/s^3So the base unit reflected in the first line is already wrong (and the result off by x 100). I tried again by changing my custom unit in 2nd line and it confirms that the unit went awry somewhereThis is mathcad prime 8  

Hello everyone,I'm currently working on implementing an auto-naming system for parts and assemblies in Creo Parametric. My goal is to have the name generated based on a combination of a unique identifier and the type of part (Mechanical, Electrical, etc.). The idea is to have a function like this:  new_name = "PART_" + TYPE_SELECTION + "_" + UNIQUE_ID  For the TYPE_SELECTION, I want to create a dropdown list of options, and for UNIQUE_ID, I'm looking for a way to make it increment by 1 automatically each time a new part is created.I was able to add basic parameters via Tools > Parameters, but I'm not quite sure how to make TYPE_SELECTION a list of predefined options or how to auto-increment UNIQUE_ID.Does anyone have experience setting up something similar? Any guidance or tips would be greatly appreciated! 

I'm currently working on an assembly where I need to ensure that the hole locations on two different parts are identical. Specifically, I want to project or reference the holes from Part B onto Part A within the assembly. I've explored a few options but haven't found a straightforward way to achieve this. Any help or advice would be much appreciated!

Hello friends, I am using Creo parametric 8.0.4.0, I have a task my collogue shared the model and I have done the task nearly 90% and now my collogue shared the new model, which is modified, now again I have to do the task from first or there is any other way to update the work of previous model with the new model.  I'm working on a project and have encountered a challenge with changing the reference point of a triangle in Creo. As illustrated in the attached picture, I need to move the reference from its current location on one of the triangle's vertex to a designated point shown in red. Any suggestion? 

 I'm working on a project that requires me to view dimensions in both metric and imperial units for parts and assemblies. Is there a way to enable dual dimension display in Creo Parametric for this purpose?I've looked through the Configuration Editor but couldn't find a definitive answer. I am working on creating an application to insert parts into an assembly. I want to be able to recognize that a model being has predefined flexibility. When operating Creo manually if you insert a model with predefined flexibility Creo will tell you that and ask if you want to use it. However there does not seem to be an equivalent function in the C++ toolkit.What I have been trying to use is the method wfcWModel::isVariantFeatModel(), however this always returns false. I have tried using pfcSession::RetrieveModel() and pfcSession::GetModelFromFilename() to retrieve the model before checking it, but both yield the same result.I am hoping that someone may have some insight to make this work.I will also note that the method wfcWComponentFeat::IsFlexible() exists but this will only recognize components that already have flexibility 'turned on'   

MathCAD is not working on my computer and I bought a license. I am using Windows 10 through Bootcamp on my MacBook Pro. The program will work for 2 days and then when I try to open it, the flash screen appears but the program never opens. I would delete matched and reinstall it but I ran out of the limits to use my license each time I reinstall the program.

I am using Mathcad Prime Release 9.0 and Datecode9.0.0.0Hello.When reading complex numbers from a text file (1 complex floating point value per line) into a vector, the following phenomenon appears: From the samples 500, 1000, 1500, ... (sample counting 0, 1, 2, ...) only the real part enters into the vector. I searched the vicinity of sample 500 for special characters that are invisible on the screen, but could eventually cause skipping the imaginary part during the reading procedure. I didn't find any special character except 0D and 0A (hex) "carriage return", "line feed"Here are the errors that I facedNo error message or warning

I am using Mathcad Prime Release 9.0 and Datecode9.0.0.0When searching for text or math in a document using the Find box and Find Next button in the status bar, collapsed areas are expanded but do not re-collapse if nothing is found. For documents with many collapsed areas this is difficult to manually re-collapse each one.1) Is there a simple way to collapse all expanded areas in a mathcad document?2) Can the find algorithm be updated to re-collapse any collapsed areas where nothing is found?My current workaround is to lock all collapsed areas, but this is not ideal either.Note: Mathcad Prime 8.0 did not have this issue, since find did not search any collapsed areas.
