Good afternoonI`ve received License file on my email but I don`t understand how to apply it. When I use .dat file for activate nothing happens. I still see "29 days left".How fix it?
I am using Creo Parametric Release 4.0 and DatecodeM150I am using the Animation Application to create animations and videos of an assembly in motion using snapshots. I can generate animations using snapshots until I create gear connections in the mechanism application (there are gear to gear connections and worm gear connections). I can drag the components around with some lag, but when I try to generate an animation those components affected by the gear connections do not move.
I would like to revisit this for Windows 11. Windows 11 doesn't have the cascade function anymore. the box that says "The server is currently unavailable. Do you want to switch to offline mode?" is over the box that is needed to select retry. This window can't be moved... how do i get to the window behind? RE: post
Hello everyone, I just started created harnesses with creo schematics -> parametric (cabeling module) -> HMX.Overall its works fine with only small issues, but there is one thing which is not working for me. It's splices. The question is, how to properly define it at beginning in Schamtics, so it will load properly in Parametric and in drawing using HMX? Typically in Schematics, I use splices as branch ends so it's attached automatically (picture 1) when I route fibers. Type I'm using is component;splice. In parametric, I insert splices into assembly through insert component command, and I set the type on SPLICE. Fibers rooted in this fashion looks exactly how I want to, but sometimes its also little bit buggy. This setup works, in HMX there is only one bug..... there are always 2 cavity tables for 1 splice. If I have 2 splices in my design, I will get 4 tables in total. How should the design of a Splice look in general? is there some good practice?F
Good morning All, I'm trying to figure out if it's possible to create a parameter that shows the qty of each components within an assembly? Right now, I have a relation that creates a parameter for each components FN. This is done at the part level, and when I create my drawings, I have a mapkey that selects the part, adds it to the drawing, and puts &FN in the balloon note. Right now, I manually add an offset note for the qty of each component. This can not only be tedious, but also can result in human error if the qty is mistyped, the qty is changed in the assembly, etc. My problem is, I'm not sure how to tie a components qty back to the part.. I know I can create a repeat region and then call qty with a custom symbol, but I'd like to avoid having to add a table off the face of the drawing for each assembly. What I want might not be possible... but I figured I'd reach out and maybe one of you gurus can point me in the right
Hi, how do I access DpiAwarenessContext.exe Properties? I'm having similar issues with my display in Creo, but I'm not a computer person, so I have no idea what you're talking about. Thanks RE: post
I am currently using Creo 8.0. When I use the USE EDGE tool on a drawing it only lets me select 3 or 4 lines any more and it deselects everything. Is there a setting to change this?
In attached file I'm trying to plot a function of time but am getting a "Replace complex values and NaNs by real numbers". If I include units in my "t" range definition I can plot my second function. If I exclude units I can plot my first function. But not both at same time. I can't see what is wrong.
Certain bends of a sheet metal part will take different angles depending on if it is pre or post installation. I want to model and draw both states. I don't want a family table as this will create two part models when in reality there is only one part. I tried simplified reps. I modeled the pre-installed state, then an 'unbend' feature, then add new bend features to set the installed angles. I planned to use simp reps to enable/disable these features as required. However, I'm unable to add new bends in the same location as unbent ones. Any ideas how I could tackle this would be appreciated.
Hi, I would like to make a new subassembly in the end of my model tree of top assembly. And I want to copy some of the components from top assembly to that new subassembly (just to pick the components I need to run some analysis) and than exlude it from top assembly. The top assembly is really big almost 2000 components and my current steps look like this: - Hide the components I dont need- Choose part filter - Choose all the components I can see (components I need)- And right click and Copy - Paste into new subassembly But the problem is that I cant copy all the components (or dont know the way how to do that), but only one and its really non effective way ? Do you know how to do that more effective ? Thanks
I am using Creo Parametric Release 4.0 and DatecodeM010Recently, the software has often been stuck, and error alerts have appeared frequently. Here are the errors that I facedA fatal error was encountered. I want to reverse the text left and right How do I do that ???
HiI get an error in the root function when a variable exceeds a specific number. See attached file. Thanks in advance

How should I start this I keep getting a square edge.
For x,y kind of dataset, it is required to perform numerical integration w.r.t. x'.The italiczied P represents Cauchy's Principal Value. Limits are from 0 to infinity. It was first tried to approximate the x,y data by combination of mathematical functions but didnot succeed as the data can not be modeled so easily and exactly.Apologies for not putting very clear image. I do not find any clue how to proceed on it. Thanks.
In a part, the scroll wheel zooms in/out using the mouse pointer location as the centerpoint. For assemblies, it ignores the pointer location and just zooms in to the center of the assembly, so then I have to pan over to what I want to focus on. Is there a setting for this? Thanks!
I am analyzing a ground motion applied to a SDOF structure and finding the motion with Newmark's method. To accomplish this I have read the ground motion in with the readexcel function and then use a for loop to find the relative displacement, acceleration and velocity for each time step. The file used and the needed excel file are attached.
Does anybody knows what are the steps and which files generally Creo Element Drafting follow to start?Mainly I'm trying to have at the startup of the application the old original Black background in the Me10 style. Thanks!Marco
Hello all, I recently got an error message when I opened Mathcad file, attached below. Error message saysAre there any means to resolve it? Thank you so muchKind regards
Using the spiral tool and the threat geometry from the standard. In addition to that start and end of the thread are always not realistic.
Hello, I'm currently working on Excel macro that connects to current session (drawing) and extracts data.I managed to get it so far that it extracts dimensions (names and value) but i just can't get a correct procedure to get the dimensions upper and lower tolerance. The only thing i was able to obtain is tolerance type with ipfcdimension2D.GetTolerance(). Is there a method to get upper and lower tolerance somehow? Greatly appreciate the answer!Klemen
Is there a way to get the plus minus sign ± into math field? I couldn't find it from the symbols list so I guess the only way of getting it into the document is to copy+paste. However, Mathcad doesn't allow me to paste it into math-field, only to text fields...
I am using Creo Parametric Release 7.0 and Datecode7.0.2.0I am working on MBD models. I have predefined combination states in Start templates. We kept those states off from view manager. I have 1_Map combination state where it contains hyperlinks of other combination states to navigate through others. If I want to navigate through other states from 1_Map when other states are still off, then Creo is getting freeze. Please help to resolve this.
Hello. I am trying to make a drawing table for weld information that has all of the weld information for the entire assembly including sub-assemblies. When I create the table in the main assembly the table is only populating the information from that main assembly and not the sub-assemblies. Any help on how I can accomplish this would be appreciated. Attached is a pic of what I got. Notice the annotations are there for all of the welds but the table only has the 10 welds from the main assembly. there is also duplicate IDs due to the sub-assembly welds. ThanksJoe
