I am using Creo Parametric Release 6.0 and Datecode6.0.3.0go to add assembly to workspace and receive "Server error: Cannot retrieve family table neutral data"Items do not show up unless i start removing family table items from browser workspace. Here are the errors that I facedServer error: Cannot retrieve family table neutral data"
This is a basic example of how to use the vbapi toolkit for PTC CREO PARAMETRIC (version 9.0.2.0). This also has an example of how LabView does the equivalent of a VB.NET " typecast " to parent and child objects in ActiveX using Variant To Data. Detailed documentation of the interface is installed with the Creo vba tookit at C:\Program Files\PTC\Creo X.X.X.X\Common Files\vbapi
This month’s challenge is on black holes! Create a worksheet that: Calculates the event horizon (Schwarzschild radius), last photon orbit, last stable particle orbit, and temperature if the Sun, Moon, and planets of our solar system were to become black holes. (You can choose whether to include Pluto.) Uses the Chart Component to depict the event horizon and temperature as a function of mass up to the size of UY Scuti, the largest known star in the Milky Way galaxy (which may become a black hole “soon” on a cosmic timescale). Image courtesy of NASA Goddard Space Flight Center / Jeremy Schnittman used under CC BY-SA 4.0. Considerations: How do you provide the inputs? Matrix, table, combo box input control, or other? When creating the Chart Component, does it make sense to use a log scale anywhere? The equations can be found here (hint: most are on page 36). Documentation (text blocks, text boxes, and images) for this challenge is critical! The math is actually not that
I am using Creo Parametric Release 4.0 and DatecodeF000I'm trying to make a .frm to use as a base sheet for multiple drawings. There is a section where some data will be manually input like height, weight, and length, and I'm trying to find a way to make other squares on the table auto spit out the metric version of the input data. For instance, I would manually input 50 (in) into the length and the table auto fills the square next to it with 1270 (mm).Alternatively, if set up parameters so the table would grab the weight (lbs) and then auto calculate the weight (kgs).I get that I need to use relations to do this but I'm unclear on how to do the relation. Thanks in advance.
I have been having issues with long regeneration times when I regenerate an assembly window or try to make changes/suppress. This occurs even when all parts/subassemblies are locked, I have auto_regen_views off and enable_auto_regen off. My coworker does not have this issue when working in the same assembly.
when the user launches creo illustrate 7.0 is ask for the license path. The path is in there and correct however when you hit save it just keeps the license screen open and never launches the program. If i right click Creo Illustrate and select run as admin and put in my admin credentials the program launches without issue.Local users do have modify rights to the PTC license folder.
I am using Creo Parametric Release 6.0 and Datecode6.0.4.0How set in Creo Parametric values for PPRINT parameters (for example):PLUNGE FEEDRATE & UNITSCUT FEEDRATE & UNITSRETRACT FEEDRATE & UNITSFREE FEEDRATE & UNITSAre these parameters set automatically by the values assigned in each NC sequence of feeds, or can they be assigned for each CNC sequence to the user, regardless of the feeds used?
I am unable to acquire the necessary license to run the PTC Mathcad Express (I want to try the full PTC Mathcad functionality for 30 days). Every time I attempt to activate my PTC Mathcad Prime 8.0.0.0 I run into the following error in the "Acquire License" tab: "You have reached the maximum number of license requests available for your product type."Furthermore, within the PTC Mathcad options tab, I get the following message:"2/15/2023 4:32:00 PM : The license request failed.Requesting MathcadPrime ...C:\ProgramData\PTC\Mathcad Prime\license\MathcadLicense.dat: (-10) Feature has expired."Any help debugging this problem would be much appreciated as I would like to do my free 30 trial error before deciding whether or not to update my account to Mathcad Prime 8.Thank you!
Trying to save an assembly to a network file share "Working Directory". There is a library that holds some of the components for the assembly here - C:\Program Files\PTC\Creo 9.0.2.0\Common Files\ifx\parts\prolibrary. When I save, I get the "error writing file, check disk space or write permission". No disk space issues, have read/write access to the network location. If I remove the local library parts, the assembly saves. What is causing this?
Hi allPlease, see the attchd.file.There is a graph where I would like to represent parameters x and y related to z.I have no idea how to define the x and y axis.Does anybody have an idea how to do that? Thx
How do I find the name of the variable that has the maximum value in a set of data. For example, if I have x=3, y=5 and z=2. I want to find the variable name for the maximum value. In this case it would be "y".
Dear Administrator,Take steps to prevent me from posting about Creo, as it wastes time to translate and read.
When I enter my new liscence key, it always tell me to try later. So I looked at the email and since i'm on the student version, it tells me that I need to send my student id and a proof of scholarity but there is no email mentioned for me to send it. Where do i send it? And is that why I can't activate my liscence key?
Hello, My question here is: how can I make the x-axis of the frequencies (freq) be the logarithmic axis (Log10), but without using the Logarithmic scaling option from the menu? Same thing for the Phase plot: Mathcad Prime 8 file attached. Excel FirstGraphPlot.xlsx file attached. Excel SecondGraphPlot.xlsx file attached. Thank you.
Hi, I would to mantain the visibility of a component in all the drw views, during I am hiding the componet in 3D model. How can I do this? Best regards. Michele Barile
I am using Creo Parametric Release 4.0 and DatecodeM140Unable to find UN thread size in model mode.I want to upload a document for the technical engineer but this isn't possible. How can I open a regular call???

Hi MastersI.Ton(t,T) is a formula function in every duration of T0 and T0+Ton, T1 and T0+Ton.and Ton is a constant value and T0, T1, T2....in the array series of THow dose the program compare the duration with time variable "t" to plot I.Ton(t,T) through the time? tks
I have some spreadsheet created for mathcad explorer 8 Now Mathcad explorer 8 still run on Windows 10 but not calculate the results. What I can do to use these spreadsheet ?
1. For each element of matrix "Em", it is required to match only one closest value from matrix "E_exp_int".Corresponding to that matched element of "E_exp_int" it is required to lookup flow and obstruction values in "flow_int" and "obstruction_int" matrices. The looked up elements of flow_int and obstruction_int will be used for calculating variable "status", as shown below. Right now, there are just flow and obstruction matrices only.2. The summation corresponding to index m starts from 0. For m=0, a constant "lateral_coeff" will be used in place of variable "status". Then, first term of summation needs to be given half weight.
Hi all, I am putting together a calculation sheet where the input data is entered using the Excel component. The first column is the thickness of my layers, called h. In the "Outputs" section of the Excel component, I define h as having a range between cell A2 and A21 (so maximum number of layers is 20). However, if the user enters less than 20 layers, I wanted to give the option to not have to change the range definition so I was using a filter function to remove all non-defined values of h as follows: h := filterNaN(markNaN(h,match(0,h))) This works great; for example, if I define 9 layers, I get a vector length of 9, even though up to 20 layers can be entered. However, one of the other input variables, called OCR, applies to some layers and doesn't apply to others. For the layers that it doesn't apply to, I enter "NaN" in the cell to show that it is not applicable as below: h (m)OCR0.520.520.520.520.5NaN0.5NaN0.5NaN0.5NaN0.5NaN However, if I use a similar fi
Hi! Can u convert this file, pleasse! I can't convert them in Mathcad Prime option. Thank you!
Hi allPlease, see the attchd.file, mathcad prime 3.1.There is a graph where I would like to have parameters y and z related to x axis scale and parameters y2 and z2 related to x1 axis scale in the same graph. I have absolutely no idea how to define which x coresponding with which y for plots where are a several different x.Does anybody have an idea how to do that?Thx a lotRosta
