Hi all, I have a Mathcad file created by Mathcad2015 (my best guess). Now that I'm using mathcad prime 8 (trial version), I can't open the old file. When I use the XMCD,MCD Converter button in Input/Output and link the path to the file and press "convert", the "MCDX status" says "no license" and I can't convert to open it in prime 8. Could you please help me with this. I can send you the file for your reference.
As per this thread - same issue. Hi Chris, I have recently started using MATHCAD but, still be able to relate with your problem statement. I would really appreciate if you can share your method to work on this project. Thanks, Srushti
I've installed multiple versions of Creo 3, 6, 9 and on all of them, there is no active part window when opening the program. I'm able to create a new part file but nothing opens on the screen and the only windows that remain open are the startup ones which I can't seem to turn off. Since it's happened on numerous versions, can you recommend some fixes as it's obviously something wrong with my computer? It has a NVIDIA 940mx 2GB graphics card running Windows 10 on a Intel i7 chip with 16 GB or ram. Didn't know if I need to install a driver or something? Thank you for your thoughts!
I have a helical coil spring that supports a cradle. The cradle catches a structure and supports it when not in use. The question I have is in reality there are 6 dof of how this spring moves. It operates in torsion, extension, and laterally. So it's a complicated scenario. My question is whether it is possible to simulate this in mechanism. I started with a 6 dof connection so the cradle could move freely but I'm unable to make the torsion spring connection because there are not co-axes to select. If I change my connection to a cylinder then I can create the extension and torsion springs but lose the lateral movement. My question is if it is possible to write the equations of motion between the two points so that I can create all 3 types of springs? Basically can I made a UDF for the springs?
Hi there, I saw some articles on a keyboard shortcut and found a shortcut to activate a model in an assembly with ctrl+A.However, the command seems to be available for Creo 5.0 or a later version.I use Creo 4.0 so I would like to know about a shortcut like this.Do you have any ideas?Thank you.
Hello, I have made a bowl with a hole in it (see picture) but now want to get the proper flat pattern. I have achieved this with the 'flatten form' future but then the flat pattern dia is as big as the formed dia. How do I use the form futures properly or is there a different method? Some context: Right now we have a 3/16 HSLA round plate that we fully punch with some hyd magic. So I like to make the form that I want and then make the flat pattern. See second picture with desired measurements Thank you for your time and let me know when you need more info Kind regards, Maurits

The attached file is corrupted - Element content is incomplete according to the DTD/Schema, Line number 1134, Char Pos 21. Can some one offer suggestions on how to fix the file?
Using Creo 7.0.5.0 I have an assembly that mostly consists of steel parts. However, as seen below there are two bronze bushings that I have given the bronze_ptc appearance. Despite that, the cut surfaces show as the "default" appearance when doing a section view (just a straight offset section from the Right plane). I expect something like this (mockup): I even changed the part material to BRONZE_CAST, but still the same result. Neither Regenerate or Repaint makes any difference. Any solution to this or is it a Creo limitation?

Have you have come across a situation where the sketcher is acting strangely? In this case, after trimming off a bunch of lines, the sketcher unexpectedly added in dimensions. When I investigated this by using the "Modify Dimensions" tool to change the value of the dimension shown, the highlighted (vertical) line moves left to right. And yet the sketcher keeps insisting that this line is tangent to the fixed-size arc at the bottom:
dear expert just made this machine please check the jpeg it's 5 axis swivel head type machine. I can make a 5-axis program on the rotary A-B axis attachment, but this machine program does not follow the part position.please need your advice regards Fisa
I am using Creo Direct Release 5.0 and Datecode5.0.3.0A license has been assigned for a user who will use the Creo suite. We installed the Creo suite without any problem and we assign the user license that is available. When we wanted to start one of the Creo software, the software closes directly with a dialog box saying that the license is wrong or has not been recognized.
Ich kann die Lizenz leider nicht im MathCad 7.0.0 hinterlegen um die volle Version zu erhalten Unfortunately, I cannot store the license in Mathcad 7.0.0 to get the full version Google translate Translated by - Anurag Singh Date - 11/15/2022
Can Creo simulate nonlinear materials plus large deformations to simulate, for example, aluminum stamping processes for springback at bend process or cracking at drawing process?
I have an older Creo license that we use occasionally for isolated tasks. I had an HDD crash and need to reinstall Creo 3.0 but without an active support account, I cannot download the installation file. Is there any way to get this file without an active support account?
Hello! Would you, please, point out why I can't evaluate the symbolic expression of of the r(x,0) function while d(0) is possible to evaluate? Those are identical expressions but by some reason Mathcad evaluates correctly only one of them. It is inconvinient to introduce new function such as d(t) to compute r(x,t). I marked equations by the blue colour. Best regards,Sergey
I was trying to create a basic code in Vb which allows me to connect to Creo Parametric. I followed the first steps so, I added PRO_COMM_MSG_EXE to System variables, I ran as administrator vb_api_register.bat and I added Creo Parametric VB API Type Library for Creo Parametric to my VB.NET project. When I try to compile my code, ToolkitCantModify execption appears. Here is my code so I would appreciate if someone could check it because I don´t know if I did something wrong. Many thanks!
For units within plot I am getting error this variable is undefined. Can someone please help what I am doing wrong in this
Hello:I have attached a Mathcad file. I am unable to open this file . It says "element content is incomplete according to the DTD/Schema". Thanks in advance!!
I am using Creo Parametric Release 5.0 and Datecode5.0.0.0HelloThe customer raised the issue shown in the video in attachment (in French sorry…).It seems that in the actual production, they open a prt under creo parametric, regenerate it, move it and save it. “Save” indicated that nothing changed and no checkout/checkin necessary. In the new env, if they open the same prt under creo parametric, , regenerate it, move it and save it. The tool ask for a checkout/checkin when we save.I don’t have found properties/preferences or else for that. I don’t find the difference…I have found this case:https://www.ptc.com/en/support/article/cs337098?language=en&posno=1&q=regenerate mark as changed&DocumentType=Article&ProductFamily=Windchill&source=searchbut not really understand…could you help us, plz ?
