I’m trying to create a pen table to automatically print in black and white through a distribute patch. I tried several materials but it doesn’t work, the copy comes out in black and white. Can anyone help me with this? How can I automatically print a PDF in black and white using distribute? Thanks in advance for everyone’s attention!!

Hello All, I have attached P10 sheet and an Excel sheet I am reading from. Many thanks to Werner and Stuart for helping me get this far. On page 12 of the Mathcad sheet, you’ll see the results of the axial forces and moments imported from the attached Excel file. On page 13, I’ve listed a couple of questions I need help with:1 How do I extract from the [TC axial Comp] forces of the panel forces (e.g. TC1, TC2, TC3, TC4, .... ) and place them into a vector labeled TC.Panel.Axial.Compr?2. How can I extract the [TC axial Comp] forces at panel points (TPP#), such as TPP3, TPP5, TPP7, TPP9, … and place them into a vector labeled TC.PP.Axial.Compr? Regards,Sam 

i have been a long time user of MathCad, strongly prefer the old, non prime versions.  Thinking of trying Prime once again, in case MathCAD 15 no longer can be made to work.  When to activate a newly downloaded, properly assigned locked licence, Prime does not seem to have an activated licence.  For example the watermark is there, the activate button is live, and not all functionality is available.  I'm not sure what to try next.  I've verified the MAC ID, downloaded new licence files a few times, tried on Windows 10 and windows 11 PC (of course properly assigning the MAC is in licence manager).  I also opened a ticket for support, that I have paid for for years and years and years, and have enjoyed no reply so far (about a week of waiting). Any tips?

Hello All, I have been manually inputting values from an Excel file into a table in Mathcad P10 sheet. I have attached both files. Is it possible to automate this process? I am interested in getting the values I highlighted in yellow in the excel sheet. Regards,Sam 

New to this Mathcad Prime here. Version 10.0.  I converted a sheet from Mathcad 15, In the converted sheet, every time I change the inputs I get question marks on the outputs and have to go back and manually type the uints over again. Is this a bug or can I solve this somehow. Thanks.

Hi All,Would someone be able to tell me how to delete a row or column from any table in drawing mode? I've been looking for about an hour and still can't find a way. Appreciate any help anyone can give. FYI, I am currently using Creo 2.0.

Hi,  you may find this question stupid..  i find out that in creo assembly, lets say i have 10 components ..  when i wanted to edit the mate (say distance mate) of the 5th component,  then the components 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10 hides...    the problem here is when i edit the distance, i am not sure whether is it going to hit/interfere with any of components that was added after 5th ..  after coming out of edit definition .. i find that it is interfering , then i have to change again ..  the case is not just with editing mates, but changing mates / position and so on ..    is there a way to avoid hiding of rest of components...  or is it too much to ask from creo...      thanks in advance .. 

Over 2 decades ago, I had a need to document technical analyses.  After some research, I discovered Mathcad V3 (?).  It worked with Windows 3 (or 3.1).  I was ecstatic that Mathcad served my specific needs!  Over the years, there were somewhat regular updates.  As had been mentioned in other posts, Mathcad originally used the Maple Symbolic engine and then moved away from it.  That was not a problem as I purchased a Maple license to fill in the gap.The above arrangement worked for me until PTC no longer supported Mathcad 15.  It served my purposes for many years, so I decided to try Mathcad PRIME.  It was an early version and it would not serve my purposes.  However, I kept track of it and it became obvious that PTC was serious about developing PRIME's capabilities.  I have had the opportunity to work with PTC PRIME 10 (and soon, V11) at my workplace.  I am pleased with the capabilities and considered purchasing a personal license.

I have Mathcad 14, working fine till now. I was bound to reinstall the PC, but now I get error in licensing the mathcad 14. "Unexpected Error. The remote server returned an error: (403) Forbidden."I did not get any time limit when I bought Mathcad 14, so I should be able to continue using it. It is only for occassional private (academic) use.

Hello, I have attached the Excel and P10 sheet. I'd like to read data from the second tab of the Excel sheet. The P10 sheet can read from the first tab of the sheet, but not the second tab. I don't know why.  Also, I am interested in reading the values in several columns. Is it better to do one column at time, or there are other options? Hi there, is there a way to declare a template for process plan assemblies? When I try to create one, "use template" is grayed out:  The main problem is, that there are no pre-defined orientations, which makes it unnecessary inconvenient to create drawing from that later.  I am using Creo 10.0.7.0

Hi,we have this scenario: a notebook HP ZBOOK STUDIO 16 G10 (Microsoft Windows 11 Ent 24H2), a HP THUNDERBOLT DOCK 280W G4 and a monitor PHILIPS 273V5L. We use PTC CREO 20.6.1.  The problem is this: when we open Drawing on the Philips monitor, the program crashes and closes all open programs. I attach the error that the event viewer reports. If we open Drawing on the laptop monitor, the program starts correctly. If I update the Nvidia video card driver, then the problem is solved for a while... Should I reinstall Drawing from scratch? Or should I reinstall Windows entirely? Thank you.Best regards,        

HelloI have issues with matrix calcualtions.  I am calculating the stifness matrix of something but I want to multipy a matrix by a vector. But I want to put unknown variable in the vector so the resulting vector is a function of the variable. I am ataching pictures to illustrate what  I mean. Thanks for any help.

Hello, I am reading values from an Excel sheet. I was building on the answer that Werner had for one of the questions. I have attached both P10 sheet and the excel sheet i am reading from. I was able to read the values for some but not others. The problem is there are dashes at TPP3,TPP5,...  Thanks,Sam  

The Mathcad Prime Documentation tab contains two dropdowns for adding and removing space, respectively.   The Add Space button allows the addition of a single line or a page.  The Remove Space button allows the deletion of a single line or all empty space down to the next region (if any).     I frequently add extra pages to allow plenty of leeway for adding new regions in between existing ones.  I always find it a bit of a nuisance having to press the Add/Remove buttons twice to tidy up the worksheet afterwards.   I don't think I've ever used the single line option for either adding or removing spaces.  It is almost trivially easy to carry out these tasks using the Enter or Delete/Backspace keys, switching to Draft Mode if necessary to ensure the correct cursor position (which is almost certainly necessary to use the single-line button options, anyway).   So, I was wondering if anybody makes use of the single line options, or would miss th

I'm trying to pull G number of rows from an array.  The For loop is not working.  It gives me the whole array instead.

Having some trouble with flattening a small harness with 2 wires. It's a very simple harness with a connector on one end and then 2 eyelets on the other. Ideally for the drawing Id like to have each wire coming out relative to where it would on the real connector. The picture shows about as good as I can get it.  Anything I try seems to screw it up in some form. Using the move segment tool works in some cases but if for example I want to move the red wire to the correct position I can move it but as soon as I confirm it it disappears from the window and in the model tree that part of the flatten harness turns red. So I delete it and have to re-flatten that section.  If I try and auto fan it it makes a big mess where the cables are twisted together. I have tried using the twist command but I can't seem to get that working either. There are times where I can get the connector to look right with the wires but then there is a twist going towards the eyelets and I still

I have some large scan files from a router with many small line segments.  Creo error "you are attempting to import too many entities"  Suggested turning of "intent manager".  I can not find intent manager and it sketcher will not import the .dxf file.   If I hit Proceed, it does not import anything.   Is there a work flow work around for this to get the data into sketcher?
