Hi everyone,   I have a mashup setup with a popup where user can create a new entry.When the button on this popup is clicked, it first creates a new entry in the database through a ThingWorx service.Once the service completes successfully, a new popup opens where the user continues the process. The issue I observed is that some users click the button multiple times, because the service execution takes around 1–2 seconds before the new popup appears — this causes multiple duplicate entries in the database.   To fix this, I changed the logic so that the button is disabled immediately after the first click, and it is only re-enabled after the service is complete.This works well when everything runs fine.   However, I now have one new issue:If the service fails (e.g., timeout, backend issue, or validation error), the button remains disabled forever, since I am only using the “ServiceInvokeCompleted” event. Hi everyone, I’m working with the team in charge to move to MBE, and I’ve run into a challenge I hope someone can help with.I’m trying to remove the general linear tolerances that appear on every part (see attachment 1). I experimented with setting the "tol_Display" option to "no", which does remove the general tolerances, but unfortunately, it also hides all the local tolerances on features of size (see attachment 2 and 3).Has anyone found a way to remove just the general linear tolerances while keeping the local ones visible?I’ve attached a reference image to show what I’m working with. Any tips, workarounds, or settings I might have missed would be greatly appreciated!Thanks in advance!

Hello, I just wanted to ask regarding Arbortext layout editor. Is this a standalone software or does it work when you install Arbortext editor? Upon checking the software download tab I only see the Arbortext  editor and no Arbortext layout editor.  Thank you. 

I am using Mathcad Prime Release 9.0 and Datecode9.0.0.0Issue occurs using Mathcad Prime v9.0 and printing a file to PDF using either Adobe PDF or Bluebeam PDF.When PDF-ing Mathcad Prime files that use "Areas," which are collapsible containers for portions of the file, the contents of the Area are printed as raster images instead of text. This is problematic for several reasons:1. Rasterized text is not word-searchable or selectable2. File size balloons considerably compared to text3. The PDF takes much longer to print since the text must be converted to raster by the PDF distiller.Is there a workaround or has this issue been addressed in newer releases of Mathcad Prime?

We are upgrading from Windchill 12.0 to Windchill 13.0 on the test server, and I see the license count on the Production server has doubled compared to the previous license count once done with the Test upgrade. We are using local LDAP and not enterprise LDAP is that the issue or any other reason?

Hi have quite the extensive Hole chart that fills 2 sheets in my Creo 10 Drawing.All was going well until I noticed I lost my Hole Designations that tells me in the hole chart its dimensions.I have had one other person have the same experience.Anyone know how to get them back?

The values of a symmetric function f(x, y) are calculated and entered into a table using the matrix(m, n, f) function. However, taking into account the function's symmetry effectively doubles the computational effort. How can I eliminate this double computational effort while taking the function's symmetry into account?

This isn't directly a Thingworx problem but for the past several days at least I have found the PTC Knowledge base search page to be broken. The page loads the normal PTC header and footer but no additional content appears on the page making the knowledge base resource unusable and inaccessible. The issue persists through a cache clear and computer reboot and occurs in both Firefox and Edge browsers.Does anyone else find this issue? I search the knowledge base frequently when developing and would like to continue doing so. 

So our company updated our office products to use the microsoft sensitivity labeling on documents. Now when editing family tables, one must select a label before opening the file. While this is a headache as sometimes the dialog isnt available on the alt+tab menu and must be navigated to from the task manager. The real issue is that sometimes when closing the excel file, Creo does not know it's been closed and nothing be clicked on. Even if I kill the excel process through the task manager, Creo is still waiting and clicking anywhere in the program results in the windows sound that I am clicking an invalid window. Does anyone know any work arounds? It appears that the real issue is you must select a sensitivity label before editing the file.

We need access control based on "View" e.g. Manufacturing view should be accessible only to a role "Manufacturing engineer" Does Windchill 10.1 supports it ? If not, is it included in Windchill product roadmap in future ?We have different Manufacturing Plants, for these we need to create different Manufacting views for released eBOM.In order to control access for Design and Manufacturing views we are creating different roles for Design engineer and Manufacturing Engineer.Can we have access coontrols based on the view of the BOM?

Once I am selecting an old baseline, the export works normally, but once I export a newer baseline in Windchill Requirements Connector 4.3, there is a pop up message "DOORS: **** Translating a structured exception ****" and a notification that DOORS has stopped working. As a result, the export is ERROR.What can be the issue?Thanks in advance

I am using Creo Parametric Release 12.4 and Datecode12.4.0.0I am experiencing an issue when exporting a model from Creo Parametric to STEP format.When I create a model as a single part and then add weld bodies, Creo automatically generates additional bodies and layers during the export. When I reopen the exported STEP file in Creo, the structure of the model appears completely different from the original one created in Creo.Could you please help me understand why this happens and how to correctly export the STEP file without the model structure changing?Thank you in advance for your support.

Hi,I am trying to create my custom ifx library, I have setup all parts, their catalogs and other configuration.I have also created translation file for catalogs names and their helptext.I have used runtime variable creation process to use custom library location. Creo parametric is taking all components and configs from custom location but it is not taking translation file from my custom location. It is using ifx_translation file from default creo installation.Is their any settings/config need to add , please help a=uf anyone knows.

Hello,Recently I am getting a crashing issue when closing out the ECAD/MCAD Collaboration tool. The traceback file states "Exception EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION has occurred in the thread xxxxx". The thread number changes every time it crashes. I had another user try on a different machine and got the same result. This seems to have started within the last couple weeks, I have successfully done this process before this period. Thanks in advance for the support,Tanner

Recently was assigned a new laptop at work with a 4K, 120Hz screen. I have now found that whenever I unplug my laptop from the docking station (2 1080p 60Hz monitors), the visualizer in Creo freezes up and is unresponsive. I am still able to use the model tree/configuration ribbon, and opening new windows results works just fine. When reconnecting to the dock, all the windows start working again without issue. I have to assume this is something with my display settings. I have attempted to fix this issue by disabling Integrated Graphics and adjusting screen resolution and refresh rate, with no success. 

Hi folks, My problem is a simple one - calculate the vertical overburden stress in a soil mass.  The simplified equation is just [ unit weight of soil ] * [ depth ].  However, in a layered system with a different unit weight for each layer, the calculation is best formed as the sum of the vertical stress increments. To me that looks like a stepwise function constructed as a series of IF-ELSEIF-ELSE statements as shown in my example below.  It works but there is surely a more clever way. Lets say the bottom of layer 1 is z1 and the stress is p1, and the stress at some mid-depth in layer 2, say z2, is delta_p2, such that the stress at the point in question is p(z2) = p1 + delta_p2.  What is the most efficient way of structing that calculation as a function depth (z) so that it can be scaled to any number of layers.  My best idea so far is an "If" function to evaluate the stress at the bottom of each layer plus the portion of the n-th layer at the t

Good morning,I installed a sample machine with a K12 education license.I extracted the creobase.p.xml and pma.p.xml XML files and performed a silent installation on two other clients with "setup.exe --xml PATH_TO_XML etc."The installation was successful, except that when I started it, it said:C:\ProgramData\PTC\Licensing\LICENSEK12_license.dat does not exist.This is normal, because during the initial setup it asked me for my PTC account and released it immediately (on source PC)I'm wondering, is there a way to force the license request to the PTC servers for each client via the CLI? I can't have a technician go station by station to enter the product code and validate.

Version: Windchill 12.1 Use Case: I want to list all (promotion) processes that are currently runningDescription: Hi All I have a small issue that i don't understandI below a part of the process tab of a promotion request. As you can see the process is still running. But when i lookup the same process is don't result in any processes.I'm sure the process isn't finished. because for example in the promotion request there is a model with where the previous released version was B.2. It is now revised and the current released  version should become C.4. when the promotion process is over the B.2 should get the state 'replaced'. And (at least )not all of the objects has changed.The reason i ask this is that i want all still running processes (i know there are more, but i don't want to check every promotion / change request etc manually)Am i doing something wrong? OR is it possible that because of a (automatic)restart the process is corrupted? OR is it something else?&nbs
