Live annotations have stopped working on multiple supported devices (iPhone 7) after the app update to version 3.1.1. Multiple tests have been made, but this feature is not available anymore. Error message: "Live annotations are not currently available for this session." What could be the issue and how can it be solved?
A great enhancement request for multiple customers with limited connectivity could be to enable extra time to reconnect to a hosted session disconnected by network problems without the need of creating a new session code again
Hi all, I have a customer who´s using a Huawei P30, apparently he's not able to do annotations on the app while presenting his view, however when seeing somebody else view he can do the annotations. Is there any compatibility issues with Huawei? will this be fixed? VF
I have received several claims by prospects and customers that they were using Vuforia Chalk annotations perfectly on devices like Huawei Honor 10 or One+ , Samsung A71, but recently they have all stopped working. Hi All, I have some questions that were brought from a customer cybersecurity team, hope you could help me clarify.. Based on the document “FAD_ChalkSecurityOverview_Apr_2020”, this looks like PTC built a SaaS solution on AWS. However: How is PTC’s Chalk service setup in AWS? Does PTC uses AWS as IaaS or PaaS or SaaS? It mentioned that the Chalk service uses AWS’s Cognito for access control. How will admin and user be authenticated? Any MFA used? Does it has PEN test report from a 3rd party PTC has placed the user access control responsibilities onto their customers. So how will the user account, password/MFA policy be managed and how will the user access be monitored? For any information stored in the Chalk, who will be responsible for deleting them when no longer needed? Hope somebody could help me. Rega

Good day I am testing the solution using the COVID offer with non supported devices .When I enable annotations despite the warning they still do not show. How can I force annotations on regardless of compatibility. I do not understand what would make a device non compatible. My devices are based on the Qualcomm SD660 chipset and so are reasonably powerful. What benefit is there to using Chalk over whatsapp video if annotations dont work?
We are not able to connect connect.vuforia.com. Using Microsoft Edge / Explorer 11. It is recommending to open in Google Chrome. Will Vuforia Chalk support Edge / Explorer
Hi, My customer signed up for Chalk promotion admin account, but cannot login to Admin page, even after resetting password. Tried below's step from another community posts, but did not work for this customer. I've had 2 reports of out of memory errors on Andriod devices (using ver 3.0). In one instance I can confirm that the device is one the supported list (Note 9) and the error seemed to be related to the area of movement. The user reported that they had moved about 5m during the session when the error had occurred.

Once connected, Experts can view the technician’s environment and draw annotations using their mouse, all from a desktop computer, laptop or tablet with a compatible browser, no software download or installation necessary. Chalk for Desktop can be accessed from connect.vuforia.com. The web-based application is compatible with Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge browsers. Initiating sessions from the browser application requires a Host license, however anyone can join a session from a desktop if they have been given a Connect Code. How do i setup host privileges? I currently have admin rights.
For Chalk admins, it would be great to have a drop-down YES/NO for the host option in the csv file. This way after users are added, you don't have to go back to each user individually and give them a license. Thanks!

It would be very positive if was possible to use Vuforia Chalk in both way, vertical and horizontal to get a wide image and sometimes present this in a bigger screen like a TV.
When starting a call there is a very long recognition time of the object/ environment before the call starts. Network connection seems to be good and also lighting conditions; the device being used is Apple iPad mini 2 Wi-Fi + Cellular , what could be causing this slow recognition?
