Creo+ and Creo Parametric

Is there a quick way to project a bunch of separate (imported) curves to a single sketch without clicking through them all? So i have a bunch of curves or faces that i would like to turn in this case into a cosmetic sketch, but I have had situations where i have wanted to extrude a complex projection too. So in this case i have a bunch of planar curves (yes they are planar they start out as a projection):  So any quick way to project all of them into a sketch? A script perhaps? Running creo parametric  9 though i can update to 11 if necessary.

I am trying to place a surface finish symbol on a drawings and the message box at the bottom says, "The selected surface is already consumed by surface finish sf0 as a restricted reference. Select another surface"   Where would I find sf0, and how did it get consumed?          

Hello,I try to customise my postprocessor configuration to make it better. At the beggining of each of my programs i have a line with multiple initialisation codes. I never really asked myself the question where they came from since I needed them.With tests i discover their origin. They come from the FIL EDITOR in LOADTL SectionDYM=POSTF(13)  This option is responsible for :- Calling tool- Put the good offset- And the prep codes Can someone explain this witchcraft to me ? And how to modify the prepcodes ? Thanks in advance

So I have multiple models in a single drawing, if I just select "&view_scale" it pulls the parameter from I'm not certain.  But IIRC there is a way to select the ID number for the individual component and pull up what that parameter is. I want to say I used this successfully many years back in a large assembly and/or family table.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.   Please see the image for reference.

We are using Creo 9.0   When we open "Cache Manager" in Creo, we select parts and try use function "Refresh", we are getting this error:   "Cannot get directory contents. Failed to load library libpro2soacore. Please ensure that the library is installed in path"   I am attaching config.pro file, couldn't find this library: "libpro2soacore"... For reasons I don't want to bother you with, I would like to export the mechanism model (like the set of mechanism connections or constraints ) of an assembly to MatLab. A mechanism model is basically a set of coordinate systems with transformation rules the describe the relation between a slave coordinate system to its master coordinate system.How could I export the relevant information out of an assembly or mechanism model? (This is not a Creo version related question, but I use currently version 9.0.5.0,)

Hello, I try to find a way to desactivate the spindle (or set it to 0) between two sequences with the same tool.Example between 2 engraving sequences at the end of the first, spindle Z return to a safe plan, rapid  move to the second sketch and engrave but all with the spindle at the same speed. For the moment I tested with inserting CL data but i think it's not very clean and risky. Is there a more professional method ? Thanks in advance.

This project involves utilizing Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and BMX studies to refine the design parameters. I am using Creo 11.I have noticed that most tutorials define an inlet and an outlet, with the inlet specifying parameters such as pressure, volumetric flux, or pressure inlet, and particles being released that move through the part, which is logical. InletAt the outlet, it is often defined as a specified pressure outlet, and no particles are released there. My question is: how do I determine when to release particles or not? Additionally, sometimes the outlet pressure is set to 0 Pa, while other times it is set to the normal atmospheric pressure of 101325 Pa. How do I know which pressure to use?  OutledBest regards,Spy

Just got bumped up to Creo 11 and needed to work with someone else's files from 10.Try to open the top level assembly, immediate crash to desktop in 11.Try to open the drawing for that assembly.  Also immediate crash.Open the files in 10 from the old computer (which is in a dungeon) and I see that some parts are getting flagged as unstable.I track down and remodel those parts and the file still crashes in 11.I check the log file and the last part before the crash is a big circuit board.The circuit board model opens but it's an import of an incredibly detailed model.  My computer, which is a little old now but extremely beefy, stuggles opening it.  There's individual circuit traces and individual part labels as solid models on the board.  There are tiny resistors that imported as five bodies.  There are also a bunch of vertex errors on the tiny text and some of the parts.  I go into Import data doctor and delete a few thousand bodies and surfaces, the board

We have a customer who requires 3D models:Objective: Get native S3D objects. The Contactor could send the SEED to a Vendor/Supplier to generate the package model. This model could be copied in S3D Contractor production plant. Does Creo have the capability?

Hi there,is there anyone, who managed to run Creo Parametric on a Linux machine? I was able to start the installation in "wine", but it always has problems installing the "Platform Agent". 

I found the drawing setting for the default font size for new views however, I can't find any options to change the font style for only view names. Our views are like shown below where the view name is larger and bold and was hoping to find a setting to have this be automatic.  Section A-A We're using CREO 7 currently

When I run the weblink example, pfcSelectionExamples.html, it works mostly fine, but the model name always comes up as undefined.  Not matter what I do with my own code that I've made, I can't seem to get it working either.Does anyone else have this issue?  Is it because my files are from windchill, and not stored locally?I know this is the third weblink post I've made lately, but information on the topic is sparse to say the least, so any help would be appreciated. Thanks!This is creo 9.0.3.0

Some of our harnesses in the real world are coming out longer than the dimensioned drawing shows when bundled.I measured in Creo.  If I measure the lengths of the individual segments, I get 350mm.  If i measure the overal wire, I get 379.  That's over an inch of difference.Any help would be appreciated on how to alleviate this.Creo 9.0.3

Hello,  I use 3D annotation to dimension my assembly. The dimensions are organized in annotation features and with combination views. The models of a combination view are also restricted by simplified reps. The 3D model dimensions are shown on the drawing. There are different views corresponding to the simplified reps. To avoid a cluttering view when opening the 3D model, the annotations are removed from the default all combination state. When I activate another combination view (also another simplified rep) the shown model annotations, like dimensions and geometrical tolerance, disappear from the view. The tree icon is greyed out and with at black square overlay.  I can get the dimensions back when I add all the model annotation to the default view. But as mentioned this is not what I would like, because it clutters the view when opening the 3D model.  There are some SPR's related to this: https://www.ptc.com/en/support/article/CS11232
