So I have had this issue randomly for some time now. It has persisted from Creo 2 M060 to the M200 release I am currently running, even persisting across multiple computers. In rare instances (could be a part drawing, could be assembly drawing) then the model is altered the drawing does not update the views. No amount of regeneration updates the views. So far the only consistent way I found to get the views to update was to rename the views (and then rename them back). That sort of works but it means that every single drawing view (incl. detail and section) has to be renamed and renamed back to verify that the changes in the part/assembly show up on the drawing. It really is strange, and no one here has been able to figure it out. any ideas?thanksGreg
Please check the image and suggest me with the solution like how can i reduce the length of the weld symbol leader. ThankyouRamaniedharan R
Hello, CREO allows symbol CZ (Common/Combinated Zone) in tolerance box: But it doesn't recognize SZ (Single/Separated Zone) symbol: Both are in ISO 5458:2018 specification. How can it be fixed please? Thank you
Hello All!I'm trying to use ModelCheck (with Creo 8.0.5.0), but all it does is just these messages:ModelCHECK - Unable to determine loadpt directoryModelCHECK is disabled. What I've checked / set: - ModelCheck component is installed- config.pro contains both "modelcheck_enabled (yes)" and "modelcheck_dir"- "mcdir" env. variable added- I use Creo in English, but I also tried the lang=c env. variable- the custom ModelCheck directory contains the "config" folder What (else) must be done to make the ModelCheck work?Thank you in advance!
Is there a quick and dirty way to create a cone in sheetmetal that consists of multiple bends (also called a frutstum)? My supplier of sheetmetal parts does not support rolling sheetmetal but bending is no problem. I cant find it which to me seems strange as this would be a simple but effective function?!
Hi,In Creo parametric if I change unit mm to inch in the part file after that if I check that detailing file some view have been distorted, section arrow becomes big and some views are missing.
Hello sir , I need EMX 9 for my creo 3.0 I can't upgrade. But as I was searching online it is not available any where, so can you help me and send me link for EMX 9.0 Thanks AAkash Jain

I am using Creo Parametric Release 9.0 and Datecode9.0.4.0Is there a better way to create a visible area on a view using shapes, or datum planes rather than just using splines that you have to free hand draw?Another question I have, is when drawing with splines, can you create a hard, one point turn if you're trying to create a square for example?
I am using Creo Parametric Release 5.0 and Datecode5.0.5.0I am having an issue when I post my program using NC post processor (Glidemaster Lathe with Fanuc Control). I am able to post the file but the file is not imputing any decimal points in the program. I have looked under “File Formats” – “General Address Output” but am still not able to get the program to output with decimal points. Additionally, I only have the issue in my Lathe post processor.
I am looking for help in basic MANUAL wire and cable routing for Creo 10. I am trying to self-teach but it’s become clear that I will need some level of formal direction. I am not working from any wire drawings or downloads that automatically populate the paths from an electrical engineered schematic etc... I need only to represent the 3D layout of the wire routes in the top-level assembly and transfer to a 2D drawing for visual representations used in Installation Drawings only. I have midlevel modeling, assembly and detailed drawing skills to aid in my learning for this. Currently my greatest challenges are orienting my CSYS so that my Z axis (Assuming Z is a default connection for a wire path) is positioned in line to accept my desired wire path orientation. There does not appear to be any way to edit the CSYS which seems to orient randomly when placed. If I do try to edit and click on a since created centerline, it will loop it from the original Z axis pick, (90 degrees off my
When I use create dimension in the drawing without checking out the CAD model, the dimension goes missing in the drawing after check-in. Why this is happening?
When user adds a drawing to his workspace, opens the drawing, opens the model from the drawing, hidden external sketches appear. The same is not true if the model is opened directly (not thru the drawing). Sketches are hidden just the way the model was saved.- Sketches are on a Hidden layer in both drawing and model- Config option 'autohide_external_sketch yes' has been added. No change in function.- Once model is opened and sketches show, if you select one sketch 'show' then hide it again, they all will hide as in the original model. I have tried opening this in Creo without any config options and get the same results. For the user to create the screen shots for different publications, they must first fix the model before creating the screen shots. or clear the workspace, load the model and open the model directly.
Is there a document that explains all of the trail file functionality in depth? I can only seem to find top level information but looking for something that actually describes the details of functions
Creo version 10.0.3.0Datum Plane is modeled through a sketched point and parallel to another plane. The sketched point moves to a different position after a dimension change and model regeneration. Plane does not update position after model is regenerated, and related features crash. After "redefine" is used to enter Datum Plane creation dialogue box, "OK" is selected without any change to feature definition.Plane then updates position as expected and failed features resolve by themselves.
*Using Creo 10 currently* The background on this is I have an assembly with a bunch of parts that are only slightly different in geometry and the material, finish, etc. are all the same. The general notes on the drawing will be the same too. So this is is essentially what I'm trying to do: I would love to create one annotation feature (possible in a notebook) that can be read by all of these parts to create their general notes on the drawing. That way, If I need to update the notes at any point, I can do it in one place (again, seems like something a notebook could do but I've tried to no avail) and update with a regeneration instead of going into all of the text and updating individually. Is this possible? Even so, would it be too much work on the front end to set up?
Is there a way to write the spiral curve equation in a cylindrical coordinate system in such a way that the pitch is zero in the beginning and the end so that the curve starts and ends tangent to the start and endplanes that are normal to the trajectory center axis?

Hi Guys,I have one main assembly that has one drawing and also I include my sub-assembly and component drawing based on sheets. Can we convert it into individual drawings based on the 3D model name? Regards,Aj
I am using Creo Parametric Release 8.0 and Datecode8.0.0.0Creo user is experiencing long delays opening up Creo files. Sometimes longer than 3-4 minutes. Mainly solid models. Sheetmetal models appear to be better.
Utilizing the same configuration files and settings: If I start Creo without the trail file being automatically run and run it manually it works perfectly. Server Management - Without Trail File Ran Automatically If I start Creo with the same trail file being run automatically the saved server is no longer shown. The trail file seems to run correctly as the second blank tab is opened successfully. Server Management - With Trail File Ran Automatically Not sure what is causing this.
Issue is that with each Creo+ update, the "Start in" setting is reset to the default.
