Creo+ and Creo Parametric

I am trying to Simulation fluid flow around a rocket body in creo, I am attemptiing to use the simulation live feature but my university computers and personal computer do not have the necessary computing hardware. What and how do I use the simulation cloud, I've tried contacting the PTC tech support but they were no help. 

Hi everyone, we wanna develop a function whitch would auto create a dimension to represent the length of specific edge in drawing mode. I found a few descriptions in web.link user guide.   "The method pfcEmptyDimensionSense.Create() creates a newdimension sense associated with the type DIMSENSE NONE. The sense field isset to Type In this case no information such as location or direction is needed todescribe the attachment points. For example, if there is a single attachment whichis a straight line, the dimension is the length of the straight line."   There comes two question. First, is there supported API to get every edge's length so we could make comparison to find out the longest edge. Second, if we could find the longest one, is there some snipped code could be refereced  to really build up the dimesion like below ?      

I have an old drawing file and I opened it in Creo Drawing 8.0 and want to create a Raster of that file.Can anyone please help me with how I can create it?

I set the 2d_palette_path in my config.pro to a location on Windchill (also tried desktop) and the path is not changing. The sketcher palette is still only showing the symbols located in the ptc directory\Common Files\text\sketcher_palette this is an example of what i am putting in the config.pro2d_palette_path C:\Users\username\Desktop What am I missing? Why doesn't the path or symbols that are available changing as expected?

Hi folks, I am quite new to Creo so please this might be a very silly question. I am using Creo 8.0.How do I change colour of a part in a section view?In the 'model'  mode, when I create a section view, the section face of the part is different from the original model colour. Can I change the colour freely or there's a default colour? If this is not possible, can I change the colour in a section view on the drawing? Thanks indeed!

I am trying to use the Creo Simulation Wizard. I am running into a problem with the domains. I am trying to select my singular part as the solid domain for external fluid flow but it will not select it and will not create a bounding box. Any ideas what I am doing wrong?

I am using Creo Parametric Release 4.0 and DatecodeM150Pro/Library: is it possible to include more columns using *mnu files in addition of Name, Description? We would like to see more columns bases on existing parameters. See picture files attached.

I am having no luck in applying servomotors to mechanisms. I have done it in the past but either I Am missing some step or creo is not functioning. Using manufacturer supplied assemblies was my first thought for source of failures. so I manually redefined the piston to the cylinder. no luck. Then I made a super rudimentary piston/cylinder assy. nope. I can drag the piston and the limits work as intended in the model. However, in mechanism, I can only get a partial move then it fails with errors.  error msg with 2 servos:  All position constraints can't be simultaneously satisfied. The following position constraints can't be satisfied:1) Servo motor constraint for servo motor Motor 1 in model 62205K194_NO_THREADS_HYDRAULIC_ can't be satisfied.  2) Servo motor constraint for servo motor Motor 2 in model 62205K194_NO_THREADS_HYDRAULIC_ can't be satisfied.    or with a single servo:All position constraints can't be simultaneously satisfied.

hey everyone,i am having issues that i hope someone can help with.  when checking an older iteration or revision of an assembly, the items underneath have updated to the latest version, despite the copy not having revision n+1 at the time or a completely different part. i understand this might be because i didn't have the workspace cleared but in essence, how would i open/ check an older iteration without needing to clear the workspace/ new workspace each time?is there also no way to force an exact revision for everything in the structure tree?

is there any way to apply colors for non-driven spec tubes/pipes just by selecting the pipe segment?

I created an assembly in the creo and converted to drawing. I wanted to create drawing of one of its subassemblies, so I did that in another sheet of the same drawing. I created the table using the repeat region for both the assembly and subassembly which are correct according to the parts present. But I am no longer able to create the automatic balloons. Is there some setting that has to be changed? Regards

As per the original post.    Why is this the workflow instead of just copying the pattern itself? Seems very extra. I'm glad you've mentioned this simplification, however. If you follow PTC's intent in Article - CS297897 it instructs an extra pattern required if you use Publish Geometry instead of just grabbing the original feature like you have.

Hi, I am trying to add dimensions that are not available at the 3D model level to use "Show Model Annotation". I am having issues with their placement. For the ordinate dimension in the picture attached, you can see majority of the holes have the dimension properly attached at their centers and are adjustable between max, center, and min. In the two holes outlined in red, their attachment is to the vertex between the two arc surfaces that make up hole features. I can't find a pattern to when it decides to snap to the vertex attachment and it makes it very annoying to work. I have to be very careful to ensure attachment is correct for each since there's no repeatability to the attachment.  I've found the same issue when dimensioning between fillets. It's arbitrary when it attaches to the fillet center or max versus the vertex of the fillet surface curve. Very annoying to need to repeatedly generate the dimension until I get it to attach properly.

I am using Creo Parametric Release 7.0 and Datecode7.0.2.0I'm unable to edit sketches. When attempting to define any sketch (stand alone, for extrusion, revolve, section, etc.) by editing dimensions, the dimension will open for editing, but will close again immediately before I can type in new value. I double click dimension to edit and it allows editing for a fraction of a second before locking again, as if I double clicked and then immediately hit "enter" to set.Here are the errors that I facedN/A
