Is the J-Link library for the development of Creo Parametrics extensions still working and supported?

Currently I have implemented a solution that uses an API provided by AutoCad, which allows to execute it from the named application through a command, and whose objective is to read the code of the design that is being drawn and search for the necessary parameters in an Oracle database and embed this information in the drawing.From the use of the design software 'PTC - Creo', I seek to perform an analysis of the documentation given by the official services of the software to define the possibility of implementing a new App in the technology that is deemed appropriate to perform the same action as in AutoCad.

I am not 100% sure if the root cause is from the latest flexNET (11.19.0) that was installed earlier this year.  Our license server daemon has been down intermittently and more so this week.  Our IT team has escalated the ticket with PTC, just curious to know if anyone else is also facing this same issue. Thanks! Calvin

I am using Creo Parametric Release 5.0 and Datecode5.0.5.0If both creo5.0 and creo9.0 installed, how do configure that when opening Creo models directly, models created by creo5.0 will be opened with creo5.0 and models created by creo9.0 will be opened with creo9.0?

Hi, I have an Extrude Feature where the Value "Depth" is driven by a parameter (here: Test). This works, anything ok.  But how is it possible to remove this Parameter there? - Right mouse button "Delete" is greyed out" and the Paramter itself is also not deletable in the Parameter Manger. I just want to enter a value again in "Depth" not this parameter.  

I am trying to update a drawing (Creo 9.0.4.0) and I cannot get @O to work. Did they remove this from the program?   Trying to reattach.    

We just upgraded to Creo 10.0.2.0Here is a new problem I have which I  can duplicate by any action involving trying to drag a Creo window or even a dialogue window within the main Creo window such as a "Measure Summary" box.In this example, I made a measurement on the part. The "Measure Summary" box appears covering up the smaller measurement box, so naturally I want to drag "Measure Summary" to the side to reveal the smaller measurement box which it is blocking.The moment I click and hold on the Measure Summary Box to move it out of the way, the Creo Window jumps half off the screen.  I let go of the mouse button and it returns to normal.  (Video Attached)How do I fix this behavior when I go to drag a window?Thank you,Glenn(view in My Videos)

I need help.  I have several files I need to export as either .stl or .3mf for printing.  Just for reference, I am trying to use Creatbot Creatware software for slicing for a D600 Pro.  I cannot get the slicing function to work in Creo either, this is another problem. I've checked every setting I can find which was suggested to check/change.  My cord dimension is defaulted to Zero.  I get several Error messages. When trying to save as stl, this shows...Unable to triangulate part. I've run the geometry check, there are a couple of caution messages..."Non manifold geometry may have been createdAnalyze hilited edges and redefine the feature".   I have no idea what this means, nor how to fix it. Another issue I'm having is with the slicer.  I have some models which I did export as .stl, but did have a problem in slicer, other files I cannot export as .stl and have the same messages in slicer as those that I did export.It doesn't m

I am using Creo Parametric Release 7.0 and Datecode7.0.10.0In sketcher we Can't edit the dimension. For example after selecting the dimension it is automatically un-selecting itself. The same issue is happening at 3 of our PC's. Requesting to make a swift action to resolve the issue asap.

I am studding pipe design from a "sample_project",There is a configuration file named "piping_mcat_dir.csv", point the location of the fitting 3D model folder.These locations are in local,I want change These locations to Windchill server folders.Do you know how to modify it?   

I am trying to make a tire and cannot find what is wrong with my sketch. Also, it does not suggest anything. I have used the revolve tool before but I am very inexperienced with the program. I am also doing this without any sketch, so measures could be wrong.

Once I open a Solidworks part and make changes, when I save it there is a .creo extension added. How do I cut this off? I do not see it in data exchange.

 I am looking for the command line utility or any other command line functionality to be used for converting the Creo family table generic part or instance to be converted to step file.  I am not looking for the UI method as I am aware how to convert to Step using the Creo_viewer or adaptor. Is there any way we can run the Creo viewer in backend using command line ? I am searching on this topic since few days but no more info available. I really appreciate the expert guidance or opinion on this. I am using Creo parametric 7.0  or 9.0 and  10.   let me know if we have any feasible solution 🙂  Thanks.

Hi. I'm using Creo 7.0.10 and I cannot find a way to change the line properties of a projected cosmetic sketch. I can change the properties of the lines within the cosmetic sketch feature itself (color and line type) but when I project the feature onto the surface, the projected lines are created with the default color and type. (orange, solid).  See snapshot. I am trying to create a simple sewing pattern onto overlapped fabric, hence the dashed lines.  I can do this with projected datum curves, but our (enormous) company Windchill is set up to always hide all layers for official Check In.   Our system will also not allow us to create additional layers so I have that potential alternative working against me as well and there is 0 chance of changing that. Cosmetic Sketch gets me around my curve/layer limitations, but now I am faced with this new dilemma. Is there a way to change the projected feature properties or is this just how Creo works?

Hi,I have currently CREO 9.0.0.0 Student Edition installed. When I start the application, a popup message tells me that a new version 9.x.x.x is available. But when I click on the update link, an other message tells me that I cannot update as I don't have a customer number. Does it mean that the Student Edition cannot be updated ?

Any Creo 10.0.x.0 release behaves as said in Subject. I will upload test data created in Creo 7.0.11.0 and video showing the "problem". Note: I already opened Case at PTC Support.

When I need to pass the parameter description from Drawing to PTC_COMMON_NAME of Windchill 12.1.2.0 thre are two ways depend if thre is a part or assembly in the model of drawing:  PTC_COMMON_NAME:D= PTC_COMMON_NAME:0 for Part and  PTC_COMMON_NAME:D= PTC_COMMON_NAME:1 for Assembly. There are any condition for to know if is a part or assembly in the program after upload to Windchill? Thanks. P.D. How to insert screws by positioning the screw on a cylindrical surface? I'm using Creo+ and I didn't find any configuration that enables the selection of cylindrical surfaces for positioning the screw head and washer. The red surface shows the location for inserting the screw head. This is the expected end result: Is there any automatic way for this positioning?
