How do I edit sketch or access the main sketch in this part file? It seems like its solidified.
Greetings and salutions, I have a mechanism which you can see in attachment. And when I do a dynamics analysis with movement. It will show me that force required to move and object which weight around 1500kg requires a force of 2 bilions Newtons. I am quite lost where is a problem exactly. If someone could help it would be greatly appreciated.
Hello!I wish to create dynamic model for automated forklift. It will be just simple model. But my question is, I am able to create triangle of stability which is base on position of center of gravity. I can do it even with relation so my triangle will change based on weight and position of load. But will it be simulated in creo mechanism ? I mean is it possible to create it such way that it will change shaped base on acceleration and slowing down or even when taking a turn. Thanks for answer!Martin. B
Where can I find the symbols to be applied to drawing in accordance with ASME Y14.5-2018 standards?I'm missing "Continuous Feature" symbol to meet the new drafting standard. I am using Creo Parametric 7.0.11.0.
I'm making a sheet metal model, and I'm starting with one flat planar wall feature. Next, I want to "offset" this wall to create a new, unconnected flat planar wall, and make it a separate body. However, I cannot figure out how to tell Creo that this unconnected wall is meant to be a separate body. Is this possible in Creo 8?
Hi all,I am trying to create a "Seed and Boundary" surface collection using creo toolkit.I have various APIs such as ProSurfacesCollect(), ProSrfcollectionAlloc() etc.Can anyone help me out using a code snippet? I am attaching the code I have written to create the same.ProError usercollectsurfaces(){ProError status = PRO_TK_GENERAL_ERROR;ProMessageDisplay(PT_MSGFIL, (char*)"CTT Select Surface");ProCollection collection;status = ProSrfcollectionAlloc(&collection);ProCollectioninstrType types[] = {PRO_SURFCOLL_SEED_N_BND };ProSelection* coll_sels;int coll_sels_size;status = ProSurfacesCollect(types, 0, (ProCollFilter )NULL, (ProAppData )NULL, collection, &coll_sels, &coll_sels_size);ProMessageClear();ProSelection* regen_sels;int n_regen_sels;ProSrfcollectionRegenerate(collection, &regen_sels, &n_regen_sels);status = ProCollectionFree(&collection);status = ProSelectionarrayFree(regen_sels);status = ProSelectionarrayFree(coll_sels);return status; }&nb
Hello there, I cant create wire tables for the connector. I am getting this error "dbg_err_crash() - continuing from serious error". However I can create the wire table for the entire harness, only those connector table is not updating. Thanks
I'm trying to automate the process of setting up an assembly which has a configurable pattern of components of which a number of members need to be excluded. A customer can choose any number of rows and columns for the green rectangles A.The bigger rectangle B can change position and size (or not be there at all) and is the region which should not be filled with rectangles A. Manually this can easily be achieved by making a Direction Pattern and clicking each dot that falls in region B. However I want to automate this and create the pattern based on input parameters. Fixed values: size of A, spacing in X and Y direction between rectangles A.Input parameters: number of instances in X and Y direction of A, position and size of rectangle B Explored options: - Fill Pattern: would be the perfect solution except for the fact that the spacing in X and Y directions is always equal. Which is not the case for us. - Table Pattern: If necessary it could be
I have been looking into different ways to swap components in an Assembly based on set parameters and have been unable to find any explanation on how swapping with notebooks work. I have already managed to do this with interchange assemblies and family tables, but I wanted to also see how notebooks worked so I could better understand all my options. Does anyone have an explanation or walkthrough on the layouts of notebooks and how this can be done? A link to a simple video, article, or even just an example would be fine. As of now, I have yet to find even one reference on how this would work so I am unsure of where to start.
Dear Sirs,I would like to use feature scanning to array my existing surface. How should I proceed? I am experiencing difficulty in achieving complete and evenly spaced features around arcs. I would greatly appreciate assistance from experienced individuals.Thank you in advance for your help. Best regards,Lan Haydena
Good morning, i thank you once again for the availability you offer us whenever we have our concerns...indeed i have been trying for more than three months to simulate the behavior of Lasche whose real dimensions are below with CREO but my result are still not Validated because the Stress Max that i obtain from my simulation is much higher than the Tensile yield of the material used.
Hi, I'm working on Creo Parametric 8.0.4.0, I created a Extrude function with option until reference. As you can see below, the dimension is reverse. This problem does not occur 100% of the time, for example if I delete and redo the function, the problem is fixed. Is there a faster way to solve it then recreating the function ? Thanks in advance.
I am using Creo Parametric Release 6.0 and Datecode6.0.6.0im trying to export an emn from a product when i export the file (open with notepad) ,in the drilled_holes it indicate MCAD---> when our layout receive the emn file they dont see the hole that i createas my colleague try exporting the emn for me,it does not show MCAD(open with notepad)---> when our layout receive the emn file they can see the hole that i create can you please help on this partThanks
Please suggest the methods to clear the body warnings in GD and its not producing the desired results
where i can get the VBAPI or guideline for the creo view
Hello Team,I know using this option to remove file history.(PURGE_HISTORY_ON_SAVE_COPY = YES)induvial drawing and part save a copy is not an issue. But along with drawing how to remove the file history in model?
I am using Creo Simulate Release 7.0 and Datecode7.0.0.0We are facing issues for non-Linear cases for structural Simulation for Mechanical Bus Bar Part. During simulation for initial mesh of flexible limit size of 5mm, its working properly, when we keep for simulation run with constraint the Nonlinear iteration is not Converging. we tried multiple ways of applying Boundary conditions. we are getting error every time. Simulation convergence plot is running fine 2 passes, after we get error message as " Run completed with Fatal error". we also try to change number of steps with minimum and maximum steps. in both cases we unable find results and getting same error message. Please assist us for solving the above issue. Here are the errors that I faced"The Non-linear iteration did not converge"." Run completed with Fatal error."
Hi,In Creo 4.0, is there any way to change/show the quantity of items (not bulk items) as "REF" or "AR" in BOM which is having multiple assemblies?I could be able to change the values in BOM with single assembly (using relations - "rpt.rel.<User Defined>")But for multiple assemblies BOM which I created using "rpt.qty" & "Column Model/Rep" I am not able to change the qty values. If I use rpt.rel.<User Defined> parameter, then I am not able to add second assembly using "Column Model/Rep.Can someone please help on this question.Thank you!!
Hi, As you see in the attachments, the thickness of the arrow line is so lean when export to pdf. How to increase that arrow line thickness? I need the arrow lines to be at least 70% thick as same as the drawing line.
My Simulation doesn't work with mesh size 1mm but works with mesh size 2mm and 3mm without a problem... How can you explain or evaluate that? thank you very much 😊 Translated by the Community Moderation using Google Translate meine Simulation funktioniert mit Mesch size 1mm nicht aber funktionniert mit Mesch size 2mm und 3mm ohne Probelm... Wie kann man das erklären bzw. bewerten ? vielne Dank 🙂
As per the original post. I don't understand PTC's choice of using the Front Plane. If our Creator had hired them to model humans we would all have no face. Isn't the Right Plane the obvious choice if you are going to force anything?
In one of our assemblies made with AFX, the assembly file shows all objects as being solid models. When we go to the drawing, some of the components are showing as quilts. Red objects are shown as quilts, the rest are solids. What would cause only part of the objects to come into the drawing as quilts when they are solids in the assembly? We are on Creo 7.0.10.0. Design was done originally in Creo 4.
Hi, When ProMdlnameRetrieve gets PRO_MDLFILE_DRAWING, depending on the environment, it takes a long time to get a return value other than PRO_TK_NO_ERROR. For example, in the case of PRO_TK_E_NOT_FOUND, if the PDM server is not active, the return result of ProMdlnameRetrieve takes less than 1 second. If the PDM server is enabled, it may take up to 2 minutes to return PRO_TK_E_NOT_FOUND. If anyone has had a similar issue to me, can anyone share a solution? Thanks, Warm Regards SeonHo.CHA
Hi, I'm encountering an issue with Creo7 NC that tap file computation is taking so long Any possibility that this can be completely done backend while we continue working on Creo? Through Queue manager, we are only able to compute CL file backend but not able to convert to G code Thanks Phani
