Hello, this is Minkyu Hwang from IDT. I have a few questions. 1. If you run creo, it will run in about 3 minutes. 2. Unable to access Creo internal browser. I want to ask if there is any solution for these two problems. Translated by the Community Moderation using Google Translate ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 안녕하세요 IDT 황민규입니다.

Hello dear members, trying to import file from following link in Creo, but its not importing properly, could anyone suggest the correct procedure to import? I tried importing but results are not satisfactory (see image below) https://www.mcmaster.com/4003K71-4003K727/
This is driving me crazy because sometimes, when I play with reselecting edges, the leader moves to where I need it, but for the most part I have to create a note and call out the dimension in question (workaround I would like to avoid)
I have a 1 line BOM for a part and updating tables command or going from tab to tab blanks all the info out of it. I can re-add the table or right click and look at the properties to remind it they exist. The info shows up on the assembly BOM fine.Does anyone have any ideas? I may remake the part to get rid of this annoyance. This is the first time I've run into this
The bore cycle in Creo Parametric 2.0 only seems to generate CYCLE / BORE which is G85. We need to bore, orient, back-off, and retract with G76. orient_angle and jog_dist doesn't output. Any way other than an Auxiliary Sequence all with CL STATEMENTS?
when we are going to export the drawing into the pdf the line weightage is increased. we are unable to find where I can reduce the weightage of that line. is there any setting in Creo where I can reduce the thickness of the line or weights. So' help us to out us from this issue.
Hello, [Creo Parametric 9.0.3.0] Normally when I open a Assembly file I've to pick one of my representations before and that's ok but when doing a drawing file I've never picked a representation at the beginning because I've multiple of them display in the different slides. It never happened to me before that I had to pick a representation before opening a drawing file. [Picture 1] Now I've been working in a drawing file with multiple slides and multiple representations, with the same assembly model for all of them. If I select a representation when opening it, some views in my drawing slides are changing too. [Picture 2] I correct it by going to each view again, and select the correct simplified representation as in the latest versions. But I don't want this to happen again. [Picture 3][Picture 4] Why is this happening? Does someone experience something similar? &
Creo7 When using the IFX fastener dowel pin counter bore option it only allows you to put a through hole in smaller than the dowel pin. I would like to flip the counter bore around so the counter bore is larger than the dowel .Example: On a 1" thick plate Ø.2497-.2500 thru, C'bore Ø.281 x.5 deep. This way the press fit isn't through the whole thickness of the plate.
In Creo Parametric, we know that there are 2 kinds of text in 2D sketch, one is to add text manually, and another one is to add it by parameter of the related model, and I want to know if we have some function or interface in pro/toolkit to access the text to change the parameter relations as the picture showed. Currently I couldn't find any similar function. I need the help....Thanks a lot! Bob
Hi,As you see in the attachments, the thickness of the arrow line is so lean when export to pdf. How to increase that arrow line thickness? I tried using print to PDF but the result is same. I need the arrow lines to be at least 70% thick as same as the drawing line. or need to reduce the line thickness same as arrow line thickness. Please refer the image 2.
I'm trying to represent a tubular diagonal brace, and the pins that attach the brace to a structure, using beams. The pin beams have two segments so I have a node at the center to attach the diagonal brace to. The ends of each pin have a fixed joint connecting them to the holes in the ears (pictured in the first attachment). The diagonal brace has spherical joints on each end so I have a beam release on one end allowing all three rotations. The other end has the Y and Z rotations released but the X rotation remains fixed to prevent the beam from spinning about it's own axis. The trouble comes when I generate the solid mesh. When I have all of the attachment pins in the model, Creo Ansys will generate the solid mesh with no problem. As soon as I put a diagonal brace into the model, the meshing process fails, sometimes with a fatal error. Creo Ansys doesn't give any diagnostics, so I have no idea what the issue is or how to resolve it. Do I need joints between the ends o
Hello I am new to Creo and I am going thru the tutorials and during the Sheet Metal Sketch Form tutorial it shows the Add Taper check box, however in my Options box in Creo 8.0 that isn't there. Is there an option somewhere to turn this on so it shows up? Earlier in the Fundamentals I had the same problem where the Add Taper box wasn't missing as well.
Vacuum pressure is applied into the center of the chamber as shown. This pressure can distort the circle. A fixed constraint will anchor the square plate. (12 locations in total) Q) How do I give a fixed constraint? (You have to consider that the circle can be distorted.) The Creo version I use is 7.0. Creo super master please help
I know how to change them to scientific format (based on ptc article https://www.ptc.com/en/support/article/CS124580). Is there anyway to change the scientific format to fixed format instead of the current years-long vote-consider-action procedure? This is a basic function needed in result presentation. Why bother end users to vote for ptc to take actions to add this basic unction? End users will not be bothered to vote instead of voting on using competitors' FEA software tools. Why ANSYS has this basic function but Simulate needs people's vote to have this basic function?
I am trying to idealize the bolted joint by advanced spring in creo simulate. The axial stiffness can be calculated Kxx=EA/L Anyone could please tell aboult calculating the stiffness of bolt in Kyy and Kzz direction
Hello everyone. I need to change the default diameter in the creation of the water circuit in EMX, in the options there is the entry WATERLINE_DESIGNER_DEFAULT_COMPONENT set like this:mm | meusburger | E2080_8_10 && mm | meusburger | E2000_13_14 && mm | meusburger | E2130_11_8_2_4 && mm | meusburger | HOLE_8, where I assume that HOLE_8 is an instance present in the HOLE.dat file, I should bring the default value to 8.5, in the file HOLE.dat I inserted a line with the name of the instance HOLE_8_5 but changing the options mm | meusburger | E2080_8_10 && mm | meusburger | E2000_13_14 && mm | meusburger | E2130_11_8_2_4 && mm | meusburger | HOLE_8_5 when I launch the creation of the circuit it always remains Ø8, something wrong?
Hello, starting Creo Parametric, i am supposed to register the "quality agent" and I'm asked wether to do it or not. If I pull "yes", an error message will blow up, telling me I should contact the technical support with the error "0x00000009", afterwards the program shuts down. If I pull "no", the program will directly shut down. Unfortunately I can't contact the technical support because my "web account does not hold the following required privileges to access this application: Customer Service Access", so I try it this way. Could anyone help me? Thank you very much in advance!
Dear All, for my study project, i am working with dowel pins in an assembly. I want to run Modal and static analysis of the assembly and i want to idealize these dowel pins as shown in the image. Could anyone please give a feedback about how these dowel pins should be idealized.
Hi, I am trying to create an exploded view of an assembly with multiple parts. The whole assembly was created in SOLIDWORKS 2023 and I am using STEP file of this assembly to create an exploded view in CREO 7.0. But it seems like I can't use the feature "Move with Children" on STEP file to move two overmolded components together. Any idea ? Best
Team I have a flat view(sheetmetal part) in the drawing. i would like to find it through code for the reference to ordinate dimensioning to the view,
Hi All, I am currently trying to run a Modal Analysis on a Frame. I have got DBID error (it did mesh) with a specific number. I found a thread on PTC Community as to how to find the Element which is causing the error by running the analysis on ASCII. But when I try to run it on ASCII, the software immediately crashes. Is there any way how to solve the crash issue or to find which element has caused the analysis error? Thank you so much for your time and help. Kind regards
Hello all , I am trying to connect into Creo using a python code to extract the parameters into BOMs..First off has anyone successful done this?? I believe it is possible , However I maybe missing a file or module or not using the correct connection command. Here is the current setup.-Creo 6.0.5.1-Python Latest version-All modules update to date.-I have all the toolkit API installed.-pro_comm_msg in environment variables- I have preferred to used win32com.client module to make connection but it has failed to make the connection.- I have also tried Creoson third party software to make the connection. I was able to connect to the server and Creo but failed to extract the parameters .it just stated no attributes to get...As there no offical help on this software it is hard to get help on this. So If anyone can provide code of how they establish a connection and was able to send commands/extracted data would be helpful. Thanks.
Hi all, I think I already know the answer to this question before I even ask it, but here goes anyway. Is it possible in Creo to create a helical curve which follows a profile, in a single feature? A colleague of mine who works with Catia is able to do this. I know I can achieve the same geometry using a helical sweep & intersect with my revolved profile but this is 3 or 4 features versus 1 (2 including the profile curve) in Catia, plus, its much easier to set up. Anyone who also knows Catia probably knows the feature I speak of, its the Helical Curve Definition with 'Profile' selected for the radius variation. Hopefully this makes sense. Regards John
Hello, I'd like to analyse a geared wheel stoped by a ratchet using creo mecanism.(view in My Videos)Which contact should be used to simulate the ratchet on geared wheel ?Please see my video attachedthe video uses a cam follower to illustrate the case but I would like the ratchet to lock the gear wheel clockwise and the gear wheel to be able to rotate counter-clockwise. is it possible to remove the ratchet part and simply prevent the gear wheel from rotating in one direction? I'am using Creo 7.0.5.0 RegardsArnaud
