Creo+ and Creo Parametric

Hello everyone - My reference lines are not coincident with my axis despite being defined correctly. This is making it very hard to work on my projects - with all construction lines being graphed on the reference lines plane while all actual objects are being graphed on the actual axis planes. This is easiest seen in the attached screenshot where the dotted construction rectangle is on the reference axis and the actual object rectangle is on the plane axis. Apologies if the terminology is incorrect - I am a beginner. I've also included my reference line definitions. Please offer any advice - I have tried redefining my references, reinstalling the program (multiple times), importing properly defined part files (whose sketches end up looking the same way in my environment with construction lines on the reference planes and objects on the axis planes), and options / configurations from a properly working Creo parametric environment.    Specs - Windows 10 environment through VMWa

Hi,switching from Creo 2.0 to Creo 8.0 and 9.0 I am no longer able to nest two or more drop-down menus in the Quick Access Toolbar.The example below is visible because I inherited the nested drop-down menu by importing the configuration of the old Creo 2.0.Does anyone know how to do it?Thank you.P.S. i'm using Creo 9.0.0.0

Hello All, Please see attached.  I have cut 3 "half moons" in my assy which cut thru the "L" bracket. I have 4 "L" brackets in a 4 sided - open front box. When I do this, the system intersects the cut with "3975as9102-4" - which results in the bom as 3 brackets and 1 bracket in the bom instead of 4 of the same. Is there a way to get this back to 4? I had the moons associated to the "L" bracket originally, but broke the association thinking it would fix the problem. Nope. It appears to be associated by the intersection Creo needs to perform. Thereby singling it out as it's own part. If it were done in part mode as a separate item that would make sense. But that is not the case. The idea here is that we have the same 4 "L" brackets and in the assembly process one will need to be modified with the half moons and weld into place. The remaining 3 will not have the cuts. Otherwise the same bracket. I agree a bit unorthodox, but I am basically modeling up a 2d print again

Hi All,I am not able retrieve Mould base and I've checked the options "Mold Component Catalog" and "Plastic Advisor" during installation and also installed mold expert extension MED-60360-CD-400_M010.zip as downloaded from PTC website.Still i am not able to retrieve Mould base, it says that it cannot be retrieved.Kindly need some advice,Thanks in Advance

Hello, All, Can someone help me how to define lead in/Lead out with radius function for the each slice of Trajectory Milling or other Milling？(Attached picture shows what I want) in Trajectory tool motion tab, we can only set Lead in /Lead out or Helica for the whole cut path, can not set Lead in/Lead out for each slice?  your help are appreciated!

Hi all,We're a little behind times here and still running Creo 5.0 with 4 users.I'm planning on upgrading very soon and wondered what peoples recommendations were on an upgrade path.For example would you recommend I upgrade to Creo 7.0 so that there's not too many differences all at once, or just bite the bullet and go straight to Creo 8.0/9.0 directly from Creo 5.0.Historically, we haven't bothered with any instructor-led training when upgrading and just tend to use the available resources and/or figure it out as we go. Hi!I can create ProDispObject and it is visible in the model area.But when i hide some part of the model or push the Annotation Display button, it becomes invisible.It there some api to make ProDispObject visible again, check its visibility status?

I am revising a drawing.  I've added a new view but when I check it back into Windchill and it publishes a creo view file of the drawing the new views do not show up?  I've tried using a full view instead of partial, I've tried unhiding all layers, I've tried putting a new view on a different sheet, i've tried using a different simp rep and I've even tried using the master representation to no avail.  I did add a totally different part to the drawing and created a view of that part and it publishes?  What in the world am I missing.  I've been working with Pro E / Creo for 22 years and never had this issue.  Can anyone please help?  Thanks Denny

I have a few questions regarding drawings, from parts to assemblies, repeat regions, etc. First, we have templates for assemblies, and drawings.  The assembly drawings work well. The part drawings look like this. But index, and qty show up blank in the part drawing.  I would also like to know how to auto-size the width of all tables. Sorry if this post is in the wrong sub section. New here.

I have a few part family parts, that change the hole dimension according to the need. So I have a few IFX screws, that needs to change the size of the screw from M8 to M10, and be adjusted according the part family. Actually IFX only updates the screw manually, and not update automatically by the size of holes of the part.   Any idea to update the screws automatically and according the family part?

What are the rules surrounding the display of session ID for assembly components in different simp rep states? I already know anything less than master rep is sketchy at best for reporting metadata from within a model rather than of a model. (File Name vs. user-defined parameter, for example) I have an assembly rep (default) that has a rule to set all included models to geometry rep by default. I want to reference model information in the drawing in order to be parametric about it, therefore using parameters and session IDs, such as in notes. When I try to view the session ID for multiple components, depending on the component, the message log doesn't give this information. Instead, it might say "Showing part <file name>" or "Including pattern (feat id <ID>) by reference must include its reference (feat id <ID>, model) or entire reference model". I initially thought this had something to do with geometry reps and instances or flexible components, but this extends
