Creo+ and Creo Parametric

I am using Creo Parametric 6.0 6.0.5.1I just scaled a part. There is no Scale feature in the model tree. How am I or anyone suppose to know that a scaling took place? Where is this change recorded or documented? How can this change be undone in the future?

When trying to replace components in an Assembly using the API, if running ExecuteFeatureOps() is deprecated, what is the new method of replacing components? The example projects only show using ExecuteFeatureOps().

Sometime between 7.0 and 4.0 Creo think tank decided to destroy our most useful sequence.  Surface Milling.  What was done for so long in Surface Milling now has to be done in Conventional Milling.  One can open an older project with surface milling in it, and it works fine.  Make a change to that sequence, such as an added or removed surface, and it "updates" to the new version of surface milling which appears to be useless.  This forces us to make a new conventional milling sequence.   Surface selection in conventional milling is unbelievably inefficient.  No more are the days of dragging a box around a group of surfaces to collect.  The tech support seems to push the Seed and Boundary method of collection.  This works OK for simple pockets with a flat plane at the top boundary.  If what you are milling has a varying top surface, it just doesn't work.  We have tons of projects that capture geometry via Mill Volumes.  To sele

Hi,I've got a huge problem with solidify operation in Creo Parametric 7.0. In general I have the solid body (usual rectangle made by Extrude) on which there's a varius-shaped surface that was created by copying geometry from the STEP file. When I'm trying to trim protruding parts of extrude by solidifying (with remove material option enabled) I've got the following error Please note that the green vertexes are not joined and there's a little bit place between them (the picture above has been zommed in much enough inside Creo in order to show this situation). These vertexes make my part unable to solidify which is visible in the picture. I tried to fix the STEP in Data Doctor. The Geometry Check option (in import DataDoctor tab) doesn't show any bad stuff on and in proximity of my copied surface. Therefore I've no idea why cannot perform the operation. Do you have any suggestions? Of course I'll provide more information about this problem if necessary.Thanks in advance for all replies!&

I am using Creo Parametric 6.0 6.0.5.1I just saved an stl of a part. Now my part has blue lines all over it indicating the tessellation that was created during the stl save. How do I remove these lines and where in Creo Parametric does it indicate that these blue lines are visible? If someone else were to look at this model, how would they know why these lines are present, what they are, and how to remove them? This is a question about the user interface. How is this change in model appearance being communicated to me by Creo Parametric? I see nothing new in the model tree.

We have a Sheetmetal part that exist in a family table where a specific instance in that family table has a Circular reference to SMT_DFT_EDGE_TREA_WIDTH relation. Does anyone know how to break this reference. Windchill is giving me a server warning that is tied to this reference. The reference does not occur in the Generic or any other instance in family table.

As the title said, I can't find datum after erase, how to let the datum appear again after erase? this problem bothers me a lot 😭  

I am working on a team, so it's only natural that we would want to make it easier to work as a team. So having some semblance of version control would be great. Have a huge drawing that is going to require me to change two established datum planes off surfaces to datum axes. My problem is, this assembly has 30 or so GTOLs that reference the old datum planes, and I'm looking for a way to not have to manually go through each annotation and change the datum reference. Any ideas how to handle this?

I have a very large assembly that takes long time when I am trying to check in. When I do check in from embedded browser the drawing preview will be not be available. Therefore PDF does not published whenever a change task is completed. Is there any way to check in from embedded browser with "Models and Viewable"? Thanks

I am curious why in a large drawing, with a full assembly and all the individual detail parts dimensioned within this drawing, I have to check out individual parts when making minor dimensional changes? I'm not using model dimension nor model annotations, but in order to say add a "2X" to a drawing dimension I have to check out the model itself? Is there a way to keep this separate via config settings? Is this just how Creo works?

Hello,   I'm new to Creo I've been trying to figure our how to rename files when using Creo Distributed Batch 7.0.2.0   The files have part numbers with a "ABC-00-1234" format but the file names for exported PDF's and STEP files come out as "abc-00-1234".   Is there a ToolKit command I can use to:   1.  Make the first 3 letters in the part number capital. 2.  Add "_rev" and the file revision parameter of the end of the file name.   In the end, I want the file names to be displayed as "ABC-00-1234_revA".     Thank you,   Eddie

I wanted to know if there is anyway to import paramaters from an already existing assembly file to another. I know there is a way to import using a .xml but I don't have an xml file. What I mean is I have an existing blank .asm file with parameters already set up and I want those to be imported into an existing asm I already have which contains no paramters but the built in ones. I really don't want to have to restart this asm as it was very time consuming. Any suggestions would be appreciated. 

Is there a way to import or transfer saved view orientations from one model to another so I don't have to recreate the views in the new model?

While opening a part or assemble from Creo, a dialog box will be opened. In that dialog box if I select a part file and delete it using delete key using keyboard it will show a warning message and if I enter OK, the part is not deleted. But in the same dialog box if I select a part file and delete it using right mouse dialog box using mouse it will show the same warning message and if I enter OK, the part is deleted. Why it is like that?
